How to move the 'slide to unlock' bar up? id like to reposition it up under the clock, it would feel more natural there. Id like to keep stock unlocking but would be ok with a tap to unlock or it being invisible. It would just be more comfortable under the clock.

Im using an iPhone 3GS MC Model 3.1.2 jailbreaked & unlocked by blackra1n. Well, here's what happened. I installed androidlock 2.0.1 through the sinful iphone repo on cydia. Had fun with the lock for a while and now I just want the old default slide to unlock back, so I removed androidlock. After that slide to unlock won't come back, its "tap to unlock" instead. Its only in the lock screen, calls and slide to power off are there. Tried rebooting the phone, reinstalling then removing androidlock a couple of times, installed 2.0.2 androidlock and removed, still tap to unlock.
I don't know why but i can't slide to unlock my iphone4. It moves for a little bit and I can't slide it to the end. I have reset it but it doesn't work. Sometimes it will be fine. What should I do?
Slide to unlock is an entirely useless feature, and I'd like to just not have to deal with it. Any way to turn it off, either through default settings or something provided by jailbreaking?
phone turns on, but will not unlock. Nothing to do with passcode. It wont slide to turn off. Have to hold off and home button to shut down. Was on phone with apple from someone elses device. Total backup and restore
Got an iPhone 4s, woke up today and I'm not able to slide to unlock any of my notifications. I can't even turn my phone off because my lock button broke ages ago so I've been using the assistive touch to lock or turn off my phone but I can't do that now as Screen won't let me do anything.
I updated to my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 and there is the camera that is always showing on the lock screen. Is there a way to get the full slide to unlock back?
Since yesterday all the sudden my iphone 3gs is freezing at the slide to unlock screen. You can slide it over and then after a few minutes the phone will go to the circle with the lines on it screen then all the sudden stop doing anything. If I hold the top button and home button down I can hard reboot the phone and it works again until I have to slide to unlock then it happens again. The weird thing about this is that it only seems to be happening when the phone is not on a wifi network only 3g. What can I do about this? I have the latest iOS update installed and it's been installed for a while.
I have an iphone 4s that is less than 2years old. The service warranty has expired. A few days ago the lock/sleep/power button stopped working so I had to access the assistive touch icon to lock the phone. Now, the assistive touch button works when I touch the screen (I can move it around) but my phone will not slide to unlock, let me open the camera by sliding up or let me open the flashlight/brightness panel from the bottom. I cannot reset my phone because the lock button stopped working. My contract is up in February so I cant buy a new phone
I changed the slider on my lock screen but i can slide it by touching a totally different area. How can I shrink the area so that i actually have to slide on my slider?
my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?
i want to ask my phone is c6-01 and i want slide the answer when my phone is calling...and slide the unlock...how can i change setting for do it...in c6 when phone is lock and when calling it may slide the answer...in C6-01 it may or not?
What purpose does Slide to Unlock provide? I find it quite annoying but maybe I'm missing something. So tell me, how does slide to unlock enhance your mobile phone experience? Does anyone know how to turn it off? While we are on the subject, what's with the slide to vibrate only mode on the unlock screen? Does anyone know how to disable it? Apparently I've been muting my phones ringer when I take it out of the navigation dock.
I use a pattern lock and the security lock timeout is set for 30 minutes. I have the screen timeout set to 30 seconds. I have disabled the power button to immediately lock the phone. Every time I open my phone I still have to take the extra step to slide to unlock even though the phone is technically not locked. This is just an extra annoying step. Is there any way to skip the slide to unlock step?
SE/Google wants to make the slide to unlock available, but the way as it is currently implemented is very annoying. The on/off button already locks the screen nicely and I really don't need another obstacle to pass.On the other hand if you use slide to unlock the screen should not be black ever. I know the X10 mini battery is just not good enough for that...
