Because of computer issues, I was not able to sync my new iPhone until tonight, about a month after I bought it. I already had some contacts and pictures on my iPhone 4S that were not saved to my computer or on my old iPhone 3. When I synced it for the first time, I restored the data that was on the iPhone 3 and deleted everything on the 4S. Even though my iPhone 4S data had not yet been backed up, is there any way I can get it back?

Motorola Droid 2 :: Back Button Quit Working?
Jul 30, 2011Having major trouble as of yesterday afternoon. Seems my touch Screen is on the frits. I noticed my back button didn't work all of a sudden, but the search and home and menu buttons all still work. and i could barely unlock my phone because a strip up from the back button wasn't working. I have done all i know to do at this point, pulled the battery twice, As bad as i hated to, i did a factory reset, which did increase the speed but i lost all of my customizations, and apps. I had 122 market apps and salvaged about 20 - 40 from the market, only 4 was paid. Anyways the problem still existed. IT came back for a few minutes after about an hour after the factory restore, and started working, then went away again. and didn't work again until i started typing this thread. I know it won't last though....
I'm out of warranty and i got shot down by calling verizon for a replacement, thought i might run by a store later to see what i can do. I want to hold out on an upgrade until next year when hopefully the droid 4 will have a keyboard and 3g . I hate to upgrade to a 3g phone this year when 4g is in my area now.
After Update To 7.1.2 - Sleep / Wake Button Doesn't Work To Turn IPhone 4 Back On
Sep 2, 2014Recently updated my iPhone 4 to ios 7.1.2. Currently my worst problem: instead of going into sleep mode, the phone turns off completely. I then cannot turn the phone back on with the sleep/wake button. To turn the phone back on, I need to do a hard reboot each time by holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously. I have tried going into settings/general/reset and selecting "reset all".

Mar 12, 2012When restarted my computer and reconnects my iPhone, it now prompts saying that iPhone in recovery mode and I must restore before it can be used with iTunes. I am very sure there's 2 backup copies in my (default designated) computer folder, with one being dated 12Mar (the day of updating). I browsed the computer folder while waiting for the downloads in iTunes.
However the backup folder is now empty!! and I can't restore to any previous backup, and my phone cannot be turn on. The iTunes restore button asked if I wanted to restore to original factory settings. How could this happen?!! My Recycle bin has this item "iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw".
How can I retreive my previous phone backup, or just return to iOS5.0.1 with its data prior to the 5.1?

So my panic is that when MobileMe switches to iCloud on June 30, I will lose not only my email but everything! on my iPhone. At least if i could update the phone somehow to get iCloud on it i would retain at least some tether to my mail and contacts.Is there any way I could take the phone to an Apple specialist, and they could back it up, restore and update the software, restore my data to it?Or is my iPhone permanently tethered to my dying computer alone? For what it's worth, I did constantly back up both my iPhone and iMac on a LaCie ext. hard drive with Time Machine. But when I attached the LaCie to another Mac, I could see my backups- but they were ALL aliases! Not the files, aliases!

1. Is there any way to retrieve messages that are accidently deleted? (Is there a trash folder somewhere?)
