Is there a way to see a password for a wifi network that someone has entered on my iPhone? I want to JB, but my iPhone keeps crashling with JB apps. So, I was going to restore to factory, JB, install.. But then I will lose all my wifi passwords.
My iphone password screen will not accept my password. It doesn't work. How do I disable the password or reset it? This is the password that comes up after you slide the arrow to open the phone on the home screen. I have upgraded to the IOS 5 software
When I'm on my 4S and goto install pending App updates, it requires a password. That password is different than my iTunes store password. Is that correct? I know the password to install the apps, but can't figure why it's different. It seems wrong. My iTunes userid is a "xxxxx.mac" format and when I goto install the apps, it just says my userid is just "xxxxx".BTW, when I plug my 4s into my imac, iTunes does not recognize it. It is recognized on my Macbook. Not a cable or port problem. This is a whole other issue, but I wonder if they're related.
I want to block my N900... but wen i go to the blocking options and touch "change password" the phone ask for the old pass.. i dont change that pass in any moment and i dont know how can i change the numbers cuz i dont have the previous pass... the phone box was open in my face and no one change that...
Blackberry 9700 The device has problem if you activate the security password, the devices does not accept the password until 5 or 6 attempts and then prompts you to type blackberry to continue. Please note format and reinstall is not an option since the restored data does not work. Awaiting a quick solution.
I have misplaced the password for BlackBerry Bold 9700 Password Keeper that came with my phone. There is no data in the application. How do I reset or recover the password which I set a long time ago ? TNX
After upgrading to os 7.1.0.163 my password keeper application does not recognize my password. I am on 7 /10 unsuccessful tries before I assume I get eternally locked out and the data lost.
I have a Google Apps account where a password is required on the device. I'd like to see this work more like the Droid X where you set a timeout, say 30 minutes, and if you use the device within 30 minutes, you don't need to enter the password again.
My Curve 8520 is asking for a password which I have no clue to what it is to unlock the phone. I had a password before consisting of 4 digits, but I removed it as I found it quite annoying. But now it's asking for a password and it isn't those 4 digits. But now I've got 1 try left until "information will be erased". What to do ?
After two years of no problems, suddenly my PK is not accepting my access password. In fact it displays the actual characters rather than " * " .I have 3 tries left. I have read several threads and have learned that after 10 attempts - everything in PK is erased. This is not a matter of a forgotten password, but something else.
I am glad to be a member of the forum and hope I can contribute meaningfully. Here is my problem: I have a BB Bold 9900 recently acquired after using a 9000 for more than 2 years. Recently my email server changed its settings and in order to do the same in the 9900 I went to email settings and was asked for my BB id and password. I had forgotten pw so clicked on 'forgot pw' and the usual pw hint question came up. However the pw I entered did not work - I was given 9 more chances and couldn't get the right pw. So what do I do now
I have been looking all over the web for the 16 digit password for cdma workshop for a Verizon Samsung Tablet, but have had no success. I tried the Samsung Default one, but no luck. It says "the phone does not accept the password".
I was trying to sync the unit with my PC the other day to back -up my contacts and SMS messages when it prompted me to enter a password. I initially keyed-in the password that I inputted to the device when I got surprised that it prompted an error message (I remember my password really well and normally do not have problems with this.). Thinking that since I am syncing my phone device to my PC, it might be prompting for my PC password (as opposed to my phone password), so I also tried my PC password, again an "Incorrect Password" message. Thinking it might be some default password, I also tried 1234 and 12345 and still both failed! Now, I am down to my last try (4/5 tries already), or else "All information will be erased".Is the password being prompted my ORIGINAL phone password? Does syncing the phone with the PC "change" the password of my device to that of my PC? Also, since my password includes numerals, I am now suspecting that I may not have pressed the Alt Key hard enough to properly register the numerals? Although in the past, I didn't really encounter a similar problem keying-in my password that's why all this is a surprise for me.I am tempted to use the touch screen qwerty for my last try to ensure that I am typing in the right password, inclusive of the numerals. I just need a reassurance that the phone password is the same, and that syncing the devise did not change it.
I am try to add my gmaill account to my Torch 9800 but keep getting a message "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If error persists, contact gmail.com."
Ever since I updated my iPhone to OS 5.1, each time I turn it on and do just about anything, it asks me to enter my Apple password. I checked everything in my settings and all my passwords are in there as they were before I upgraded. It's not that much of a problem but it is getting annoying. How can I stop it from asking every time I do something?
Since iOS 5.1.1, my iPhone 4 keeps asking for my iTunes password - whatever I do like launching any app, or when I watch a video in Safari. If I enter it, it won't pop up until next time, just like when you've just purchased an app you can purchase another one without being prompted for your password. If I tap "Cancel", then it will pop up again and again There are a few other threads discussing the same issue,One more thing : before 5.1.1 I had the "Cannot purchase XYZ and two other items" pop up everytime I was installing an app - that has been fixed in 5.1.1 but I would have known about the new issue, I would have keep the previous version.
For the past couple hours, everytime I unlock my phone it asks for my iTunes password. Why? I've already set up iTunes on here. There's no reason for this to show up
Apple requires 8 characters, some numbers and some letters and at least one capital. On my iPhone or iPad this becomes a real pain when I want to get another app or update my apps. Is there any shortcut. Why does Apple need my password so often?
Every time i enter my password, its always saying incorrect password. Even when i change it to a new one. its as if the password is never saved or something, password i use with my iPhone is the someone i have always used. But with iPhone its always incorrect.
How do I change the password on my IPhone? I am using a card that belonged to my former daughter in law and I cannot get the original password. I need it to change the Restrictions setting because all of a sudden my ITunes apps won't download when I sync my phone....just photos and music. Apps list is "grayed" out.
It's been a week now that my iPhone keeps asking for my password every time I launch an app. It doesn't happen with every app. But it happens with most. I get a prompt screen asking for my password. It also happens whenever I reboot the phone. I get the unlock prompt then this one pops out and slows things down. It's becoming a little unusable now. My iPhone is also becoming less responsive - taking way too long when I hit the home button - if at all. I have done a few hard reboots, to no avail. I am not sure what I should do now.I am using an iPhone 4, running iOS 5.1.
