IPhone :: How To Go Back To A Previous Version Of Software?
Mar 13, 2012
I have an i-phone 3GS and a 56 Plate Ford Fiesta with factory fitted bluetooth audio. This is a Nokia bluetooth but has allowed me to call hands free with this phone and previous i-phones and other brands with no problem.I upgraded to iOS5 and I can now not make calls through it.If I press call, the radio says 'dialling but the ringing tone and when someone answers just goes straight back to the handset and not through hands free which makes it redundant in the UK. I rang Apple and asked how to go back to a previous version of software that does work but was told Apple staff were not allowed to tell me how to do this. His only other suggestion was that I buy a new car which wasn't massively helpful or practical.
I have seen quite a few messages on the internet of people having this sort of problem after they upgraded.Does anyone know how to go back a previous version or how to get bluetooth back working with my car as I quite like the iOS 5 update it's just no good if I can't use it in car.? I've tried deleting and re-pairing but that hasn't worked. Does anyone also know whether Apple have picked up on this bluetooth compatibility problem and whether they are planning on doing anything to fix it as it does seem to have affected a lot of people and if it can't be resolved I'll just have to stop using i-phones and go to another manufacturer as it's not helpful living in a country where you to have hands free and then not being able to do that because a software update prevents it.
I d/l an update to the Grocery Gadget app, because it's got alot of good new features. However it's now so unstable it's ridiculous. Almost everything I do makes the app crash. It was fine before, but now it's pretty much useless. Is there any way I can get back to the previous version of the app?
I link my iPhone 4 to my HD radio in my vehicle all the time to listen to my song library or to other audio such as Pandora or iTunesU. An update for the standard iPhone music app loaded recently, and my radio is no longer able to communicate with my iPhone. Could the music app update have caused this? If so, is it possible to revert back to the previous version?
I have linked other devices to the radio to rule out the chance that the radio is the problem. I have also done a hard reset on both my iPhone and my radio. Before the update, my radio recognized the iPhone as an iPod.
i updated my xperia ray to android 4.0.4 , there are some problems , the device can't see or find the the wirless net work ,, I wounder if i can get back the previous of android 2.3.4 .
Right away I say that I did not check the forum for answers to my question, so I apologize in advance. The point is that last updated the iPhone 3G to 5.1, but I quickly began towaste the battery .. I think the problem arose because of the update, how to restore the iPhone to the previous version?
How do I down grade it by a few micro-editions.The reason for this, is that I updated via blackberry desktop. But Blackberry dont have any debug emulators to go with the latest version...Phone: 7.0 Bundle 2406 (v7.0.0.585)Highest debug (v7.0.0.540) So Unless theres some other way to debug, I need to downgrade to that one or previous. It originally came on a version that had an emulator.
i was happy few days back since my xperia min pro was updated to 4.0. But now i started to hate ICS update because my front camera is not working. If any one planning to update its better you don't update it..
I updated my OS to 7.1 bundle 2039 I can't seem to go back to previous bundles.I had 3 options on my old system 2G, 2G&3G and 3G. I always set it to 2G and the battery lasted for 3 days. after the update I lost the 2G only option. Now when set on 2G&3G the battery only last 1.25 days.
Is it possible to restore bbm contact back up from my previous device? I have switched to Torch 9810 from Bold 2. I have backed up all bbm contacts wirelessly via an email account. The problem is my Torch 9810 crashed (JVM error 545) which had forced me to wipe out the device and load new OS before I back up my bbm contact wirelessly on the new device. I have also backed up to my pc via Blackberry Desktop Software and Blacberry Protect but when I restore it didn't restore BBM contacts only phonebook contact.I thought I can restore using my email on this Torch but no.its also seems to be linked to my PIN number. Thus, when i try to restore using my email it said "no account linked to this email" :-(
If you have Gingerbread and it's causing you problems, is it possible to revert back to Froyo while the Gingerbread bugs are worked out and then re-upgrade to Gingerbread?
I just downloaded the new OS, and for some reason my contacts got messed up.
Some contacts were tripled, and doubled, some numbers were moved to different contacts, or deleted.
Is there a simple, or any kind of way to get back my old contacts list from a previous backup, while at the same time keeping the new OS, and replacing only this contact list?
When your typing on the laptop dock 100 using the Photon it often reverts back to other parts of your sentence. Which my cause you to start typing anywhere in sentense. For instance if your typing the the Sentence ( I really like my laptop dock but) while your about to type a word after your last in may revert back to maybe like and continue your typing. Which messes up everything. It does it often. I returned one laptop dock and received another one but it still doing the same think. There doesn't seem to be nothing in setting on phone or dock that I see could help with this.

I recently updated my Xperia ST15i to New Version 4.1.B.0.587 and after updating i feel that Old Version was very good in terms of both attraction and as well as Performance. Is there anyway to roll back to the previous version.
