I just purchased a used unlocked /jb'd 3g iphone. There was left some pretty nasty purchased music on it that I want off of it. How can I delete these old purchases from an unknown account?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have two children who have shared an Apple ID for the iPod Touches. The older is now getting an iPhone and is old enough to manage his own ID. My question is, if we set him up with a completely new Apple ID, will he be able to sync the phone with iTunes as a new device, even though iTunes currently syncs with his iPod? I guess what I'm asking is, can two different Apple ID's/devices sync with the same iTunes without messing up either device or getting the wrong information sync'd?

I have never tried in-app purchases so I am not even sure if what I am getting is normal or should it work.I downloaded an app and when I click on buy a window pops up and says " Checking Purchase request" then it just goes away and nothing happens. So, I set up a separate Apple id on my iPhone and now I have two apple ids and I'd like to delete one and just use one for both devices.

(Probably the previous owner) I could have sworn I changed this when first bought it but obviously not. Anyway, I want to change it to my user name now and seem to be having difficulty doing so. It won't let me delete account to add a new one in my name unless the previous password associated with the old owner is put in, and I don't have that now. It also won't let me switch off find my iphone unless old password is typed in, but it did let me turn it on without old password........strange.Â
ANyway, I have tried contacting the person I bought it off but no answer. The phone itself works perfectly, it's just I can't log into iCloud or delete old users iCloud without the password.Â
