Apr 23, 2012Basically my iTunes has been showing this error message whenever I sync my iPhone with it, probably for around the last 2 or 3 months, maybe longer. Everything is transfered fine it's just that this message comes up.
It says to delete the backup file how do I do this and it won't delete anything off the actual iPhone will it?

Mar 5, 2010I get this error: iTunes could not back up the iPhone " xxxx iPhone" because the iPhone is disconnected. Of course it is not true, I have it connected, it will sync but not back up. I had old back ups from another iPhone, but I had to exchange it out for this one. I have tried everything I could find on the internet, and all the programs on my iPhone is the same as the old one.
