We just replaced my 4s yesterday and backed up everything and loaded it on the new phone. But now it keeps asking me for my daughters Apple ID password as well. Anyone know how to stop it?
If someone buy an iphone via Ebay (or other online trade site), and its locked to a foreign provider, is it possible to ask Apple to remove the sim lock directly? I know Apple in contract with providers, but an example:I get an iPhone from US (as an european person). It locked for one of US providers. I can activate it (if I have original provider's SIM or on CDMA network), but nothing else. So I get an iPod (in good case). To use this device, I must go to US, stay there for many months, make a contract with the provider, and after many waiting, they may unlock it for other fees (or not). As anyone can see, this is not a working way.So if the phone is clear (were on good standing on original provider, not reported as stolen device etc.) is it possible to request unlock directly from Apple (for fee)I know there's unofficial methods to unlock the iPhone,
I have a few cards in the app Cards (it sends personalized paper greetings and birthday cards through the mail) that show in my history (already sent cards as well as drafts). Is there any way to remove these cards from the app?
how to remove an enterprise policy ( in the iPhone policy setting) without the remove button shown? I have tried to to backup and then restore thru iTunes whithout success.
The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?
I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?

I'd like to update my iPhone 4s to ios 5.1 but the "download and install" option is greyed out. I suspect that is because there is not enough room on the device. Will deleting songs permanently remove music from the iTunes Match library being shared with our other devices?
