Aug 29, 2011Just got a refurbished D2G, the Nav app takes a long time to long on > 10min sometimes. Anyone else having this issue? Called VZW up they claim that google pushed out an update which breaks Nav. I called BS, then he tried to blame it on the hurricane.I have been through 4 of these phones, all with different annoying problems, Getting tired of it.

May 1, 2012My mum bought me an Iphone 4S in duty free in South Korea airport, she was told it was unlocked, however, when I tried to activate it with my Kazakhstan sim card, it said that I had to use sim card of certain providers. I've checked the model's number in the Internet (MD237C/A), and from what I've learnt my Iphone is supposed to be unlocked.

May 25, 2010i have a really long video that i want to transfer to my mac from my iphone... but i have no usb.
i know there is an option to email the video from your iphone, but it's way too long and it would take me at least an hour to send a million clips, so it's not worth it.
also, i know that there is Internet, but i want to edit the video and i can't save my movie from going to Internet on my computer... only view it.
and there's no mobile video uploading web sites i know of that allows you to upload very large files.
i want to transfer it to my mac as a saved file so i can edit it)
IPhone :: OS4 Upgrade Taking So Long
Jun 22, 2010So I starting the process to upgrade my 16GB iPhone 3G last night to OS4. After a few hours I stopped it because it kept getting hung up during the backup, or so I thought. I then deleted all the video on my phone, thinking that would speed thinks up with the backup. I got my data down to less than 3GB, started the download again and went to bed.
After letting the download run all night, I checked it today only see it again appears to be stuck at around 1% of the backup process. I will let it run for another day, but are you kidding me?
How many days does it take to finish this freaking upgrade?

Feb 9, 2010I have a JB 3Gs at 3.1.2. Every week or so wifi seems to go a little wonky and I have to restart. Recently however the restarts take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. It just sits on the Apple Logo for that long. Does anyone else have this problem? I used to be able to do it in about 30 seconds. I've been considering restoring but staying at 3.1.2, i figured it would fix the problem. According to Cydia my SHSH is on file, I don't remember doing it but I very well could have. I've been told if you can stay at 3.1.2 for now then do it. Any suggestions?

Apr 3, 2012I just upgraded from iPhone 3 to iPhone 4S. The salesman tried to sell me something called Zero Charger. I come home late and often just go to sleep. He told me if I declined the Zero Charger, I have to set the alarm for 1:00 A.M. to disconnect my iPhone from the wall, or the battery will be ruined in a few months. Is this correct? An iPhone user who comes home late cannot recharge his phone and go to sleep? I never heard that one. Also, are there any PC programs that cause a PC to work like Zero Charger? Meaning, when you connect your iPhone, they detect it, monitor the recharge, and shut off the juice when it is recharged?

Apr 16, 2012I purchased my iPhone 4s at a Verizon store and then purchased AppleCare+ within 30 days at an Apple store. My current AppleCare protection status only reflects the coverage that is included with all Apple devices (90 days/1 year) and does not show that I purchased the extended coverage. I did not receive a registration number or any information about AppleCare+ at the time of purchase - the only thing I have is an electronic receipt. I just purchased AppleCare+ on Friday, so I'm not sure if there is some delay between the actual purchase of the extended coverage & the coverage being applied to my account.

IPhone :: How Long IOS 5.1.1 Update Suppose To Take On 4S
Jun 3, 2012So today I got an iPhone 4S from Verizon and I noticed that it was on iOS 5.1, and I know that the iOS 5.1.1 update is out and I just want to be on the latest firmware. I made the mistake of updating via my mac because I thought it would be a faster process compared to updating by my wi-fi (my wifi is not that fast anyways). But I started downloading the update around 5:40 pm today (it took about 10 mins to download the update) and once it finished, the install began. I noticed on my iTunes that the bar that says "Updating iPhone software" is nearly full! It's literally so close to the end of the bar.
On my iPhone 4S however, the bar under the Apple logo is a little over 1/2. So I went for a walk with my cousin hoping that by the time I got back, the update would be complete. No. What's bugging me is that it's been like that for almost 2 hours. It's been about 2 hours (soon to be 3) and I've seen no change on either my iTunes or my iPhone. I did load up my backup from my old iPhone 2G to my iPhone 4S before I started any of this. There was a little over 1 GB of memory used and I'm still able to use my iTunes. It's not frozen or anything. But that bar is still very very close to finishing. Is the update suppose to take this long? Or is something wrong with my phone already?
