I am getting Error = 9006 when downloading a podcast, Derb Radio on TakiMag, but not other podcasts. It started occurring recently, about 3 of the last 4. This occurs on both a Windows and Apple machine. iTunes is updated. It does not occur with other podcasts. Then end result is that the podcast does not download.Â
I also get a "rebuffering stream" interruption during playback on the computer.
I've tried everything to fix this. I've updated all of my software and everything like the apple site said too but everytime it get about 30 minutes to an hour into restoring the phone it comes up and says error 9006.

I just update my Iphone4 version 4.3.5 to 5.1.1. I back up everything then later when I restore, I got error -20. I really want my contract list and pictures back. I don't know what to do
My iPhone 4 seems to sporadically lose its connection to my WiFi network now after the update. I'll be using it, and then suddenly notice that I'm on Edge (no 3G where I'm at currently). Then it will ask me to rejoin. I didn't have any issues on the last version of the firmware so just wondering if anyone else is having WiFi trouble.
I just bought an iphone 3gs and it came with ios 4.2.1 , the first thing i did was try to update to ios 5.1, and i keep on getting error 37. I tried disabling the antivirus, windows firewall and all the others solutions i found in discussions and nothing worked
I want to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS5, but when it nearly done, it said 'Error 21', then I can't use my phone. I need to recovery mode, after my phone became factory settings. The phone ask me to activate it but i cannot, because it said the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Also I plug in the computer, it said I didn't put my sim card in, but I did. So, I cant use my phone now.
Im getting a 3194 error when i try and update my phone--i have the latest version of itunes and all the on line suggestions and nothing is changing--i just get the aplle logo and the usb cale picture connected to itunes and occasionally I can slide it over and it gives me access to an emergency call.
I'm trying to update my ios from 4.1 to the newest one but each time i try to do it, I get an error message 3194, I tried to trouble shoot by turning off my virus protection as well as delete and reinstall itunes but nothing works which was suggested by the FAQ's from itunes. The last time this happened i got a replacement from apple because i was within my warenty period but now I don't have that luxury. Can someone please help me try and figure out how to resolve this problem??
i m trying to upgrade my iphone 4 and my ipad2 , but said i cant restore . could not update this device isn't eligible for the requested buil. what i can do
i phone 3 will not update when i click the button to update. i keep getting an error message saying cant connect to internet. I have'nt updated this phone since i brought it a long time ago!
I agreed to give my old 1st gen iPhone to a friend of mine (as I've been on a 3G right now). I went and pulled it out of the storage shed, plugged it in, and booted it up. It came up just fine, prompting me to insert a SIM card (I had the phone unlocked).
Before giving it to him, I decided to update to the latest OS (which I had done on my 3G the week prior). So I plug it in to my MacBook, download the latest 3.1.3 update for the original iPhone through iTunes, run it through the latest version of Pwnage to get an ipsw, put the iPhone in restore mode, and update from the .ipsw.
I received an error, and the iPhone seems to have been bricked. Now, when turned on, it goes straight to DFU mode (showing a cable and the iTunes logo). When I try to update, the iPhone reboots at the "preparing iPhone" stage, and then iTunes errors out with:
"The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1611)."I have tried this from my MacBook, Hackintosh (which errored out with (2006)?), and Windows 7 PC. The first machine I tried it on was the MacBook.
Just went to update my iphone 4 (32gb) from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 to be greeted yet again with 'update failed, unknown error' followed by iphone in recovery mode. Now, my 3GS did this on 4.0 and 4.0.1, my 4 has done this on 4.0.1 and now 4.0.2.
I dont mind, I have backups but I also have 16gb+ of audio. What is going on? is this something with my laptop or a fault with ios4 updates? Im running latest, 32 bit version of itunes on windows 7.I've tried restoring and updating twice now unsuccesfully.
My wifi has been bricked ever since the 3.0 update came out and I can't find ANY working solutions online (i've looked for months). Has anyone found out any working solutions?
I am trying to update my iPhone 4s to the 5.1. I have been trying to check for updates since the release but everyday I am getting the same error. I have tried to do this over WiFi, Over the Air, Through Itune (running the latest version) but still no luck. I am don't know what else to do. Does anyone know what the next thing I should try? This same error is for the Ipad and Apply TV2. Is there something that I need to do with my Apple ID account?
I have been trying to install this update for months now and have been getting the same error. It doesn't give me any specific details in regards to the error, it just states that there is an error installing it.
Was given an iphone by a friend who said it weren't working anymore. Tried to get it into recovery mode to install IOS 4.2.3 (I think, anyway - doesn't show the version number now?) with iTunes 10.5.3.3 Went through the update process but then dropped out with error code 1015. From googling it seems that this is when a phone has been jailbroken... My friend bought this off someone a while ago and says the person who had it before did this with Cydia... and has only really used it as an ipod themselves so hasn't noticed anything. The phone still sits at the black apple logo screen.
After applying the iOS 5.1.1 update to my wife's iPhone 3gs, it no longer works. Trying to do a restore fails with an Error 37. The Apple Store says it's a hardware error. Why would it be a hardware error, when it was working perfectly fine before the update?
