If you put your finger on top of the home button, and move it to the left, right, up or down, will it move slightly? This reminds me of the sleep/wake button coming from factory stiff, but after using it for a while it becomes loose.
Everything was okay, i downloaded the desktop software which gave me instructions but then when it came time to rebooting my phone....>like you know doing the whole battery pull out process<..... i saw that although the upgrade seem to have been successful there is no movement on the screen because the Color ID App is requesting permission orwhatever.....idk........... the message takes over almost the whole screen and says : Application Permissionsthe application Color ID has requested a http connection to rest.motekmobile.com.*box* Do not ask for http*box* Do not ask for http torest.motekmobile.comI still see the theme that i had before on the screen and it moves, so the screen didn't freeze, all nubs on the phone work but when i try to move the trackpad over to the deny button it doesn't move AT ALL!
Is there any way to move the camera button from the default top right button? When setting keyboard lock on/off (top-left then top-right) I press this button by mistake and has to exit camera-mode, which involves some waiting time.
My friends iphone 4 left his phone charged and suddenly his phone shut down and cant be on anymore. it is all blackscreen ... the blackscreen is like when ur phone is off. my friends phone can go to DFU mode i tried restore it using itunes. but it keep give me error code and i have try to solve all the error code but it still cant works ...
My buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.
My phone came up with a message asking if i wanted to update to the new software so clicked ok, it seemed to be taking ages and then suddenly went off. Now when holding down the power button and the home button it is still not working and wont restore?
have had my iphone for almost 1 and a half years, and about 8 months ago my home button started wrecking; i would press it and it would either not open the iphone (take it off sleep mode to show lock screen) or the button would get stuck in and would start the voice control.. then about one week ago my vibrate button wasnt vibrating, even when i got a call or message or alarm... around one year ago, my camera started wrecking; like i would go into it and it would be blurry, and over the past year it has been getting worse and worse, and now i cant use my back camera at all.
My iphone 4 will not turn on. When I plug in to Macbook, phone does not appear in iTunes.I have tried holding down sleep wake button and home button for 10 sec but nothing happens.
A friend of mine has the iPhone home button as the button he uses to take a picture versus the regular shutter button on the camera app. He has no idea how it was done - as his son set it up. In all my research I cannot figure out how to do it.
I live in Canada, however am visiting in London, England. My home button is not functioning properly. Is it possible to get it fixed while I'm in London.
I cant connect to WiFi -- the button is in the off position and wont let me click on it to turn it on. I have tried restarting, doing a hard reset and resetting the connections, nothing seems to be working.
I understand tap and hold to make the icons jiggle, then drag. Only problem is, I can move them to the right but not to the left--to the home screen. For example, I moved one of the default home screen icons to the second screen, leaving a hole. Now I'm trying to move an icon from the second screen into the hole I created. I can drag to the right and create a new screen, but it will not break through to the left onto the home screen.
When I'm listening to music, or more likely a book on my iPhone, I double press the home button to show the basic music controls forward, back, play or pause. Way to often I go to hit pause and accidentally hit one of the other very nearby buttons like skip forward or skip backward. When listening to a book chapter that is 40 minutes long and having no clue where I'm at in the chapter, this can be super annoying. So - is there any way to customize and separate these buttons so that they're not so close to each other? My fingers aren't that fat, the touch separation between these buttons must be about a millimeter. Totally frustrating to lose your place like that. Would be cool if they were far enough away that I could hit the button I want without looking at the phone, or at least the play/pause button was much larger.is there an app that can change these controls, or a way to make a request to Apple?
Not to sound too picky but does anyone else feel to switch on bluetooth is a pain in the backside, as you have to trudge through a number the menus? Is it possible to move this icon to the home screen? I've checked but i cant seem to find an app that places an icon on the home screen and is linked directly to the iPhone function, does this even exist?
lately my nokia lumia 900 has been pushing the back button and home butting while i'm watching videos. its really frustrating when watching Internet videos and i already have to wait for them to buffer and if it decides to push the back button i have to wait again.
I'm using Nova Launcher. Whenever I exit my applications with the home button, it directs me to the homescreen selection/dial (not sure what the appropriate name is). . :/
It does it intermittently, and I suspect it's because the whole phone is lagging - too many little background things running I suppose.
Assuming it's the lag problem (making a single press lag so long it seems like a long press), what are some strategies for clearing out less necessary tasks the phone is doing?
Don't know what's happen. Phone isn't rooted. Normally when I flip my home screen and I want to go back to my first home screen I press the homescreen button. But now it doesn't do anything?
home button went out first then power button ive seen and tried the videos on Internet.. some work for about a day then my home button goes back to not working... not sure what to do. my phones warrenty and what not is to no use..
Recent;y my iPhone 4 home button has intermittently stopped going "home" and just stay on the last page selected. I spoke with an apple customer service person and the said that if the horizontal tray at the bottom of the display could be too full ad that would cause a delay in the home button working.?
There are default 3 buttons on the downside of the screen, in order,
Left side: BACK Button in the midde: HOME Button Right Side: MULTIPLE WINDOW Button. Â My question is, how can I move the BACK button to the Right side?
Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3gs: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)
I currently use a 3GS, but my experience with all 3 versions of the iPhone has been the same. The home button bugs me. If I push it down in exactly the right spot it has a solid feel with a satisfying amount of travel and no audible "click". If I depress it slightly off center, either horizontally or vertically, it has a weaker feel with less travel and an annoying audible "click". So I ask you, iPhone 4 owners, can you describe your home button to me please?
I recently bought a i 4S on Jan 27, 2012 and it seemed to be fine, up untill a few days ago i noticed the home button was clicky just by tapping on the button, not actually pressing it. it's really annoying. I've never dropped. I have never dropped the phone and there is no kind of damage not even a scratch. Can this be replaced
