Everyone kept saying you need to use a credit card, but I used my debit, and it was charged. I ordered through AT&T as well, and they sent me an e-mail saying I couldn't use that card. I'm gonna let them cancel that order, since I don't need 2 phones, but does Apple accept debit and credit? I'm worried my order will get rejected soon, since people keep saying credit only.

I have heard you need a credit card to pre-order through Apple.com, I know its about a 85% dumb question cause I'm almost sure you can but even though I have a Bank of America Dedit card that's directly tied to my checking account but I can still use it as a Visa card (I always have the option of either or for purchases) since it has the Visa logo.Can I use this card to place my Pre-Order on Apple.com Tuesday morning?

I'm completely baffled by the fact that Apple actually in ways punish you for not having a credit card. I only have a barclays VISA debit card, and as a result when I try and complete the self service apple support & repair form, I go to put a hold on the debit card for the amount shown, (£16) and apple won't accept the card. Apparently 'Debit and check cards have daily spending limits which could substantially delay your order. Using a credit card ensures that your order will be processed as soon as possible.'However, Apple are more than happy to take my money from my debit card when I buy apps, movies music etc.Is there anyway that I can actually work around this without going into my local store - (lack of time, and it's miles away)

I lost my iphone 5S unfortunately over the weekend and I was given a barely used iphone5 as a replacement.
I blocked my old phone through Optus and at the same time I had Optus give me a new sim card with my existing number, as so I could simply install the sim and then run a restore through iTunes back into my phone.
For some unknown reason, the iphone5 claims there is no sim installed?

My phone went under recovery mode after a quick dip in some water today, after plugging it in and doing a factory reset, it went to the 'Hello, hola, bonjour' screen. When asked to enter my Apple ID & password to activate my phone, it said the email was incorrect. I've called Apple & they said it was the corresponding email. I've used the same Apple ID to sign into everything; iTunes, iCloud online, Facetime on my MacBook Air. I even used it to sign in to ask this question .. It's just my phone that won't accept my Apple ID.
Also, when plugged into my laptop, error 2005 & 9 came up.
