Mar 2, 2012Whenever I try to sync my playlists onto my MotoACTV from Itunes only half of the songs make it. I received a message stating that "662 files are protected" so they did copy over. How do I unprotect those songs? I have looked in Itunes and cannot find out how.

May 21, 2012I have no problems with the other 500 songs just these two. They are on the list of songs, but they don't play. When I sync I get a warning that my music will be removed from my iPhone but no songs ever get removed.I'm not sure what to do about this.

Jun 7, 2012When I play one of my playlists on Itunes from my laptop the end of one song blends perfectly with the beginning of the next (I set the crossfade up). The same playlist played on the Iphone doesn't reflect the same blend.

May 21, 2012Recently my iphone 4s will not shuffle songs. I go to songs and then click shuffle and it randomly picks a song, but instead of shuffling to another random song when it is done it repeats the song over and over. What do I do to fix this?

May 7, 2012the songs I recently bought on itunes I somehow can't play on my phone's iPod.When I click for a certain song to play, it would just automatically switch to another random song.This happens with the songs I recently bought. They're not explicit songs or anything, I have no parental blocks on my music or anything. It just altogether skips those songs when I click on them.And I bought them legally! Apr 19, 2012Whenever I sync my iPhone to iTunes, it keeps copying over the same 104 songs to my iPhone. Day after day, it copies the same 104 songs again, as if they were missing or deleted. These songs are there and can be played from the phone. This is a 64 gig iPhone 4 and a unibody MBP 15" purchased in mid 2011. My iTunes Library is about 20 gigs and the settings are set to sync my entire music library.

Mar 31, 2012I have purchased and downloaded (through iTunes) six songs from a particular artist, and added these songs to two different playlists on my iTunes. However, five of them will not sync to my iPhone. They are checked, and I am able to play them through iTunes on my computer without a problem (Windows 7). However, on my iPhone, only the one song shows up.
I have deleted the songs and re-downloaded them, but they still won't sync. I also tried unsyncing all music, and then re-syncing, but they still don't appear. My iTunes and iPhone iOS are both completely up to date. These songs worked fine on my iPhone 3GS, but ever since I got my 4S, they've never shown up.

Jul 5, 2012Recently received a replacement 4s. I restored through iCloud and it worked (slow) but great at restoring all settings, pix, etc except for my music. My laptop recently crashed that I used my iTunes with. I transferred all music via thumb drive to a new computer, and then transferred the music into iTunes. I am now trying to sync my music onto the replacement phone, but only about half of the music is syncing. All music is showing up in my iPhone but half are greyed out? The songs are able to be played on the computer through iTunes but remain unselectable through iPhone. I deleted all songs from iTunes and from the iPhone twice and replaced them twice, still no change? I tried clicking and unclicking sync all music. I tried clicking sync manually. PLEASE HELP. Had no trouble with this with my first iPhone 4s. This is turning into a headache and I am getting frustrated. The replacement came from Apple/Verizon so it is not from a random Joe Shmoe from Ebay.

Aug 23, 2014I bought a new laptop and synced my phone to it. I carried over the old music to my laptop and now there's two copies of some songs ONLY on my iPhone. I tried manually deleting them but when I sync my phone they come back. I tried unchecking the albums to prevent them syncing and resetting it and that only removes some of the doubles. Just to clarify, they do NOT show up in iTunes as doubles, only on my phone.

Apr 22, 2012I have an iPhone 4s and have it configured to sync with my Outlook 2011(14.2.0) running on Lion (10.7.3) . I see all the email, calendar, and contact items getting synched up with the latest changes. However the Notes that I have in outlook are not getting synched up. I tried configuring it to sync with Outlook 2010 running on Win 7 and everything works fine. I have reset the phone and tried to synch it back with 2011 and see the same problem with Notes. Don't see any updates on the iPhone.

It only does this with my phone, there are not doubles on my phone. did a restore today still doing it. I have 94 songs on my phone... shows I have 207 in the Terrian? Why? Called Apple they said if there are doubles only in the vehicle then the problem is the car radio..... dealorship says its my phone.....

Songs Won't Play After Syncing With IPhone / Red Square In Red Circle?
Aug 31, 2014I just bought 9 songs from Amazon music download and added them to my iTunes library. I've done this before and my previous Amazon purchased music has always and still plays fine. After syncing my new music with my iPhone I found I couldn't play these 9 songs (they play fine on my Mac in itunes, just not on my phone). They have the red square in red circle symbol next to them (see screen shot) and when I tap on one to play it just skips to the next song without the red square in red circle.

Mar 2, 2012I downloaded all my music from my computer through MotoCast. All the songs show on my Razr when I go into my music library. When I am connected to my home WiFi I can play all the songs. However, when I'm on 3G (no 4G in my area) only some of the songs will play. I tried to play an album in the car today and noticed that some songs were in bold while the rest were not. The songs in bold played in order, but it skipped all sorts of songs in between. I'm really at a loss as to what is going on.

Apr 14, 2011I just recently found problems with downloads certain songs. Specifically the artists Chromium, Deas Vail, Celldweller and Hawthorne Heights. What happens is I download them as usual the whole file downloads with no errors BUT the songs are firstly filed incorrectly on the P.C (not in folders of artist and album). Secondly they don't have any metadata/ info embedded in the file (artist album publisher etc) and Finally but most importantly they don't play, not on my winamp or nokia media player. If I use nokia media player an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle appears next to the Song. This has only happened with those artists so far. I'm using a Nokia N8 unlimited Music subscription.

Jun 23, 2010Just got the X6 on Virgin Mobile, previously having owned the 5530.Has anyone else had a problem with the Playlist DJ appication, or is it just me? Namely, the songs stop playing after a number of tracks of the 25 it would normally play. Sometimes after 2nd track, 8th track etc - random it seems.I use this extensively as my main music player and had no problems with the 5530. The tracks stop randomly, when they get to the end of the current song - never in the middle of a song. Means I'm having to take the phone out of my pocket to restart it. I've even deleted the application and re-downloaded it from the Ovi store. But normal albums play in sequence without a problem.As I'm in the 28 day cooling off period (never been on a contract before), am I allowed to return the phone for another handset, if this is a software bug?
