Style :: Delete BB Message Notification?
Feb 7, 2012How to delete the BB msg. notification envelope on my BB9670 Style. When I click on it ..I get a "You have NO NEW notifications". I called BB and there rep told me to hook it up to my laptop w/the BB desktop software and do a total backup then a resatart or whatever... All that did was screw up my laptop and that little envelope is still there. It's like a cockroach its survives evrything. I don't even use BB messenger or email . I have a gmail account.

Apr 17, 2011After finally convincing my new Style to sync with my BES service (had to sync with a NEXTEL device twice before the BES server caught a clue), the Desktop mail account chimes with Sanguine Remix when new messages arrive, at the default volume of the selected profile. I've tried changing the playback sound for all obvious notifications in the selected Profile away from Sanguine Remix and the sound played back as Sanguine Remix isn't associated any longer to any of the Profile's options.Any ideas where the sound notification can be changed for the Desktop (BES synched) account? Right now I have to mute all ringers (Silent sound Profile) in order for it not interrupt my sleep. I get hundreds of alerts every day and even with Exchange rules marking messages as read and moving them to a specific folder other than the inbox, BES is catching a small percentage before Exchange marks them as read, and doing what BES does best, forwarding the messages to my phone.
Neither my hotmail nor gmail accounts have this problem since they have an option in profiles and I have configured them to remain quiet.Under Messages-Notifiers for selected Profile:Email: gmailEmail: hotmail Level 1PINtext MessagesVisual voice mail I am going to try Phone Calls Only and edit It to include Text Messages. BB Style :: Have A Sprint Style 9670 Unlocked To Use On Canadian CDMA Networks?
Oct 14, 2012I need to have a Sprint BB Style 9670 unlocked to use on Canadian CDMA networks. It doesn't have a SIM card. Anyone have this problem or can point me to the proper way to unlock it? I chatted with Sprint but they don't want to do anything.

Dec 8, 2015I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and have apps like whatsapp, facebook and email on my homescreen. When there is a new message in whatsapp the counter (badge) on the app increases. However it does not reset to zero if I click on the app and go inside the app and come out quickly (without clicking on individual chat and read the message) Is there a way that the notification setting can be tweaked such that the counter reduces if I enter the app and exit - with or without having to go into each of the chats?
I used to have a Windows Phone earlier, in which this would happen.

Nov 6, 2015The android system (6.0) update notification came on my phone yesterday (Moto X Pure 2015). Since I couldn't connect to a WiFi where I was, I decided to switch to my cellular data. But as soon as I did that the notification disappeared. I tried finding it on my phone settings, where you go to settings-->about phone-->system updates. It says my device it upto date. How can I retrieve the notification? I was waiting for my android OS update for a month and then this happened.

I have backgrounder to to auto detect (I have an iPhone 4 on 4.0.1). When I do an override and set it to run as if in foreground it doesn't do it. Aug 23, 2010When I first jailbroke my phone, I went and added every source I could find. In doing so, I ended up with a bunch of junk that I needed to get rid of. Let me start by saying I DO NOT use cracked apps. I have never installed any and do not intend to. I added the Inst***ous repo and realized I didn't need it and deleted it. It wouldn't delete so I manually deleted it from the source list (/etc/apt/sources.list.d) using iFile. Now it's gone but I'm still getting these errors like it's still there. Dec 23, 2010I never had any problems with the Tour automatically rebooting when making/receiving a call when it is or isn't connected to Bluetooth. For the last few months, the phone will reboot as soon as I connect to a call. I don't think it's my car's Bluetooth since I never had an issue before but it's extremely annoying especially when I really need to make the call and it takes forever to reboot.

I had never seen a jail broken iPhone before but I have heard the name Cydia associated with JBing, but I assumed the cydia app on the display phone was something legit. I asked one of the geniuses if the phones were jailbroken because several of the phones had the cydia app on them. He scoffed and said of course they're not jail broken. Then another genius told me that they were indeed jail broken and proceeded to remove them all from the display.
