when I plugged my iPhone 4 in on my iMac, I saw a new window, indicating an "iPhone USB" network. When I clicked on the Network Preferences button, however, it indicated that the new network was for Bluetooth Tethering, which left me scratching my head. One is physical, the other is wireless. Has anyone else seen these two windows, and if so, can any of you tell me what this is all about?

About a week before the first Torch came out, I was invited to a launch party in Toronto and received a free Torch. I've been using it lightly for the past year or so and I hardly downloaded anything in that time.Lately, however, I've been downloading a bunch of apps and today I was informed via text message that I had surpassed my limit of 500 megs.Talking to Rogers support, we discovered that the Connection Preferences button under Network and Connections, then Mobile Network, wasn't there. He said it should be between Mobile Network and Network Selection Mode, which it wasn't.I have no option to have my phone switch automatically to my wireless when I'm back at my apartment, and as a result, it's using my Mobile Network to download everything, hence going over this month.Short of having to turn off my mobile network while I download stuff via my wireless (which means I won't be able to receive calls), what am I supposed to do? The guy on the phone told me to update my software, but I just tried through Blackberry Desktop and it said there was no update available.

Volume buttons work fine, up and down.As soon as I plug any headphones/speaker, I am able to turn the volume up using the side buttons, but not down. I have gone through all of the sound, ipod, and general settings on the phone but cannot find a way to fix this. Btw, the IPhone is Jailbroken, so I would like to refrain from simply trying to update the IOS.

Apple, provide our iphones with the same possibility to set the preferences for a Standard account. I only use my alias me.com mail account and if writing a new mail i always have to change the "sender" account. os 10.7.4 has this as standard feature.

My devices don't show up in itunes, not iphone, not ipad. I can't sync. I get a message when I connect my iphone to computer, 4s- to Windows 7. When I try to start the mobile devise service I get error message "The apple mobile device service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs,". I do have icloud so is that the issue? I used to be able to sync my ipad, not anymore. And I have a new iphone 4s that isn't recognized either.

Usually when I write an sms it shows up green and imessages shows up blue, and they both show up chronologically in the same window. I.e. my iphone understands it is from the same person and therefor post both types of messages in the same window. However a month ago or so my boyfriends imessages started showing up in a seperate window from his regular green text messages... Why? We have changed no settings of any sort. Nothining has been altered, and on his iphone both types of texts show up in the same window. My other iphone contacts also show up in the same window with both green an blue texts. How come his dont? at several times a day a call alert shows up and the iPhone freezes. The Accept or Cancel buttons offered by the alert does not work nor the the home button, nor the restart button. My only way out is to force-restart the phone. While the call alert is on, (By "call alert" I am referring to a full black screen that displays a message saying something like "you have received a call from ###-####") the iPhone wont go to sleep, it overheats and the battery runs out fast. Maybe related to this problem... who knows... is that my Bluetooth does not work properly. Cant pair with a Jabra EasyGo headset. I have fully restored the system and the problem is still there.
