iPhone with iOS 5.0.1 is suddenly delaying all of my text messages. The top of the screen says "delaying" and the Send button is temporarily resolved by a red Cancel button.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI thought some of my friends were ignoring me or only choosing to answer certain texts of mine. Only later finding out that iMessage is either delaying CERTAIN messages from coming through or i am not receiving them at all. This is really frustrating.
When I log on to my messages app on my imac i will discover texts that did not come through to my phone.... this has never happened before...

My iphone 4 suddenly died last night even though it said it had about 40% power. When I plug it in, it turns back on but will not connect to anything (no internet, and I can't call or text). As soon as I unlpug it, it turns off, and sometimes when it is plugged in it either says it has 0% or 100% charge. After about 60 seconds of being plugged in it turns off and restarts. It won't start up fully when I plug it into my computer, it just shows the Apple symbol before shutting off again. I am thinking this is a hardware issue. Is it possible that the battery is so drained (since it won't hold charge), even when it is plugged in, that it doesn't even have the power to connect to the internet or call or anything? I have had this phone for about 1.5 years.Â
Important note: I had it fixed about 2-3 weeks ago when the whole front piece of the phone was shattered when it was run over by a car, lol. Even in that state, the phone continued to vibrate when recieving calls, and when the front piece and home button were replaced everything was working except for the camera. Maybe some internal damage is just now catching up to the phone?

I am a website owner hosted by Yahoo! Smallbusiness service. I set up an email account with my own domain name, configured it with BIS plan (uses BlackBerry Bold 9000). The issue I encounter is to receive emails with Yahoo!Smallbusiness within 15 minutes. I have made a contact with Yahoo for many times. They insistly mention this is being caused by BIS or / and GSM carrier. Good. That's a fact. However, I configured a Gmail account, so it seems that I don't get down with my Gmail account.Is there anybody out there to give me a hand on what's going on with my email delaying because I'm exactly tired of wrestling out with the problem. You may ask "Is it a problem for you having emails in 15 minutes?"... Yes, It is... I am sure that many people have a website owner and they're aware how important it's to reply their emails fast. My previous smartphone (is it OK to reveal another brand name here?) is already pushing!

I've had my Photon for about six months, and lately it has been acting possessed. It will freeze on the Motorola logo, as though it has restarted itself. Sometimes it will restart itself completely. Sometimes it will turn itself off a few minutes after I unplug it in the morning. I've been getting 24 hour delays with incoming text messages* (yet I can still make calls and send texts, browse the web, etc). When I turned on my BB tour this morning it hasn't received any email messages. I checked and the network is enabled and working and I can receive calls. I checked my computer and I do have unread emails. Does anyone know what's going on... I did received messages yesterday, so my email set-up is correct.

It changed from the normal "qwerty" keyboard to the old style keyboard, with the abc on button "a", def on button "b", ghi on button "c" if that makes sense, like on old phones?It was like that all night. Switched my phone off at night as normal, switched it back on again in the morning and it was back to the "qwerty" keyboard again. Does anyone know what caused this to happen, it was really strange!!And I quite liked that old style keyboard, I dont know what the technical term for it is, but it was much quicker and less mistakes typing a message than the qwerty keyboard?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm probably going to have to take this in to the local US Cellular store to see if they can figure out what is going on. I tried sending texts to three different individuals this morning and all are not going through. Initially I was using Go SMS Pro as my default SMS program. Thinking something may be messed up with that program, I switched my default SMS program to the phone's Text Messaging program. Still cannot send or receive any messages. I am on a business plan (which my wife is on as well). She is receiving and sending texts fine. I tried sending her a test text, and it tells me "Message Not Sent". I had her send a test text to me. It shows that it sends fine on her end, but I never get anything.
Is there any error log I can look at to see what's going on? I have powered my phone off and on 3 times already this morning and that hasn't fixed the issue. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to take it in? I hate doing that because they're just going to do a Factory Reset I'm sure since they aren't too good on the technical side of things.
Just recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... I havent had a problem replying to messages after people have texted me, its iniating the converstation thats not working.
