My Iphone goes back to the home screen while in use. Apple sent me a new unit think it would correct the problem. I've removed all 3rd party apps and the phone is still doing the same. I'm about to go back to my old driod.

Everytime I open anything on my Iphone, it exits whatever I have opened up and returns to the home screen.I have deleted most all of my apps thinking this would solve it.It hasnt solve anything and continues to do the same thing. I have an iPhone 4s IOS 5.0.1 /32gb with 17.3 available-per settings. Its neen jailbroken. For the past few days I have been having a problem with the phone crashing. I go into an app and within 2 minutes it kicks me back to the home screen. I have tried clearing Safari history, deleting photos, and apps. I have also booted, synced, and still have the same thing happens.

But for some reason this option dissapeared (maybe when I installed the gmail app?). I can't see that little middle button on the bottom of the main page where I use to press and be able to flip between those 5 screens. Is there any way to get that back? I can get no further than this. When I touch emergency call, I can see the bar at the top with pending notifications, but no way to get there. I can hear the incoming text notification. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. My iPhone 4 running 5.1 has suddenly started crashing back to the shutdown animation when I double tap the home button. It's happening every time I click it, so I can't access the ?springboard??, the part where you can close apps, slide left to access volume, etc... It appears to jam, then drop back to the black screen with loader animation, then just a few seconds later, I see the lock screen again and have to enter my password...
It seemed to start after I installed some rubbish apps last night, but I've removed them since, but the problem persists. Maybe it's a coincidence, and not connected to the naff app..
