have two songs on my phone i downloaded by error on itunes and i cannot swipe to delete or remove via itunes when plugged into pc as they dont appear.Â
i have synced my music again today and clicked manually manage music and still cant remove.Â
i did however manage to hide 2 other tracks i had same problem with but these are not coming up on same screen so cannot press hide on them
Whenever I try to sync my playlists onto my MotoACTV from Itunes only half of the songs make it. I received a message stating that "662 files are protected" so they did copy over. How do I unprotect those songs? I have looked in Itunes and cannot find out how.
I have some purchased songs on my iPhone (de-selected on my iTunes on the computer). I want them off my phone. Tried removing ALL music, two albums stayed - apparently something I purchased. Still show up on the phone.Â
I have un-sync'ed all my music and re'synced to no avail, they are still there. I've turned off Show All Music in iTunes on my phone, turned off Show All Music from Music app. Tried to swipe/delete from Music, no go. Tried to swipe/delete from iTunes, no go. I've found the albums on iTunes on my computer, I have deleted them. No go. Still on the phone.Â
I've rebooted the phone. For the love of God - how do I get rid of this Christmas music from Michael Buble' and the Beach Boys???
I have went into Itunes and clicked on music and unchecked a bunch of songs I don't want to sync, I also went to the device and music tab and checked selected playlists artists, albums, and genres and scrolled down to albums and unchecked the ones I don't want synced, then I clicked sync in Itunes, but after the songs are still on the device why is this? They don't seem to be removed from the Iphone.
I downloaded some of my old CD's to itunes and I've noticed that the songs are not downloading to my iphone, even when I go to my phone and music and check the box. I've sync'd like 5 times and nothing.
I've also noticed that some of my CD's that I've downloaded are listed under my other music but its not available to checkmark the box under my music.
I have no idea what's going on. Is is a PC issue? Is it an itunes issue?
I will check about 1,500 songs in iTunes I like and put them on my phone. Then my daughter will "select all" then "uncheck selection" then click the songs she likes. Then my my son will do the same thing. So, now if i go back to select or unselect music I have to start from scratch. I'm sure there is an easier way for all of us to select our music than starting from scratch everytime. I thought about making a file with my music in it but then I'd still have to click and drag over 1,000 songs which would take forever.
I cannot seem to figure out how to get my songs from my itunes account onto my iphone 4G.I can only access the songs when I am within my wi-fi of my imac.
I have purchased and downloaded (through iTunes) six songs from a particular artist, and added these songs to two different playlists on my iTunes. However, five of them will not sync to my iPhone. They are checked, and I am able to play them through iTunes on my computer without a problem (Windows 7). However, on my iPhone, only the one song shows up.
I have deleted the songs and re-downloaded them, but they still won't sync. I also tried unsyncing all music, and then re-syncing, but they still don't appear. My iTunes and iPhone iOS are both completely up to date. These songs worked fine on my iPhone 3GS, but ever since I got my 4S, they've never shown up.
I have tried transfering songs that we have put in itunes to icloud to go onto my iphone, The ones that I didn't purchase through itunes comes up with a cloud with a line through it. I have read previous notes and checked that it is set to aac encoder but it comes up with an error stating that it couldn't be found.
I have duplicate songs in my iPhone 4S. But everything is normal in library. I have unchecked the "Sync Music" and then tried to syncronize. I thought that this would delete all songs from my iPhone, so after that I would add my songs again and I would have solved the problem. Syncronization was completed but only the HALF of the songs were deleted. I couldn't delete the other half from my iPhone. I checked the "Sync Music" again and tried to sync again. Nothing has changed. I deleted my whole iTunes library and resynced again, nothing has changed.
In the end, I had to delete every single song one by one (I had like hundreds of songs.) with this "slide to reveal the delete button" move. Many people have asked about this problem in this support community but no stuff has brought a soluotion so far. This is sad, really sad.
Note: These music files can be seemed and played in iPhone but they doesn't exist in iTunes, you can only see the proof of their existence at the bottom of the device summary section in iTunes, I mean the size indicators.
Note 2: The proof I mentioned about is dissappearing temporarily when I check or uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox. But after the syncronization it's coming back.
Note 3: The problem has occured this time (Yes, it happened few times before.) while I was texting to a friend during syncronization of new music files.
I recently had a library on a desktop computer and I moved all those songs from that library onto my new macbook, then got more songs afterwards.
Everytime I try to sync my songs onto my iPhone, I get an error message that says "iTunes could not copy "(song name)" to the iPhone because the file could not be read or written." and then it stops syncing completely, so the rest of the songs after that don't get put on my iPhone.
I hate this iTunes sync complication as always! it just *****.
I have synced my iPhone in my previous work computer because my iTunes in my mac is no longer complatible.. now, I have returned the computer at work and it's no longer with me.
i can't update songs to this phone without reformatting it first. it ***** because i hate starting back from scratch i have a lot of apps now.
I want to be able to put some songs from my computer at home onto my iphone, however my iphone is usually synced with my laptop that I use for school, is it possible to sync some songs without erasing everything?
I have 2 iphones, one mine and one my partners.Since we have had the two iphones I cant get the itunes library songs onto either of our phones from itunes when syncing etc. Before when it was only my iphone I had all the songs in itunes, on my iphone... What i am doing or not doing?
Ok, so I have had the 4S for some time now, and I am really beginning to be frustrated with the fact I can't sync all of my music. It's almost as if anything I purchased prior to getting the 4s (had 3GS prior) will not transfer over. I have tried syncing all music, removing everything, restoring, and nothing works. iTunes allows me to play the music, and it syncs fine with my iPod with no issues. No matter what I try about 200 of the 500 songs I am trying to sync are actually on my iPohone, yet all of them are on the iPod just fine. I have plenty of room on the iPhone, and I receive no errors (even reset warnings just in case it was something I previously shut off) when trying to sync to indicate they won't be there. In fact the "Capacity" bar shows the space it should take up, then after I sync and go back the space is cut in half.
I recently upgraded to software version 5.1 for my iPhone 4 and version 10.6.0.40 for iTunes for Windows. Ever since then regardless of when I sync, even if it was one minute ago and no changes were made, either 188 or 193 songs sync and they seem to be the same ones. I tried restarting my computer as sometimes that seems to fix these little annoying glitches but that didn't work.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1, Windows 7. iTunes 10.6.0.40
My son has an iPhone4 and up until this point has been only purchasing songs throughs his phone and has never connected to iTunes. We purchased a new iMac and I've been trying to set him up. However, when I go into 'sync' his music I get a warning that only songs on iTunes will be transferred, and all others erased.
