Huawei Nexus 6P :: Chrome Touch To Search Disappeared
Dec 22, 2015I tapped a word in an article and it brought up the chrome touch to search at the bottom. I brought it up to see the search result. Chrome then crashed on me. I opened chrome again and touch to search no longer works and it's not listed in the settings menu either! Why did it just disappear like that?? My chrome is up to date.

Jul 17, 2010I could not find a rubber cover/case. I bought the plastic hard rubber item that is fake paint that looks like rubber and scrapes off real easy. The plastic underneath is white so it looks like crap after a few weeks.

Aug 29, 2015Whenever I watch a video through the internet on my phone, and it is not through YouTube, I cannot use the bar at the bottom of the screen to change the time of the video. I cannot skip through parts of videos at all. I can move the bar, but it goes back as soon as I let go. It makes it hard to skip through videos I have already seen the first parts of. Downloaded videos and the YouTube app I do not have this problem. I am running Android 5.1 on an LG G4 with Verizon.

Sep 26, 2012I unfortunately torn the two silver clips that hold the case and the screen on my Nokia N8.I asked the Nokia support if it possible to order these spare parts and Nokia told me to ask for my local Nokia Care Center. I actually bought the N8 two years ago at Orange, so I went to see them and they told me they don't have and cannot order this kind of stuff. Is there a store or a shop online where I can buy these Nokia N8 Spare Parts ?
PS : I cannot send photo or video of this part as it's against the guidelines of the Nokia forum. I just hope this time my post won't be deleted.
Motorola Defy :: Where To Get Replacement Parts
Apr 26, 2011Obviously the cap is pretty essential for the water-proofness feature of the phone. I've had a search around online, but can anyone tell me where I might be able to get a replacement cap? I haven't got a response from about it from Motorola Support yet. Can't find anything on ebay. There seem to be plenty of LCD screens and digitisers available, but not much else in the way of parts out there for defy.

Nov 1, 2011Had this phone a little over a month now and notice that sometimes when someone sends me a text that comes in 2 parts because of the length of it, I will receive the 2nd part of the message first (out of order). Now this isn't so bad as long as the first part comes in so I can read the whole message. However I have had at least 3 situations where I only received the 2nd part of the message and never received the first part. So I had to ask the senders to resend the message over again. Now this could be a network issue and nothing to do with the phone but I don't recall this ever happening on any other phone I have used.

Jul 6, 2011I'm a new DX2 owner and having several problems with the phone. First, When I reboot, any app I've placed on a home screen that has been moved to the SD card/media area comes up as the default settings icon (blue gear icon) but appear correctly in the app drawer. Second, When I record video it is pixilated and choppy on play back with parts of the video actually missing. I understand we're all waiting for Gingerbread and bugs may exist but, to me, the video issue is a real problem because it basically means I can't count on video working and therefore have to use another device (go XOOM) for video recording.

Jan 11, 2012I bought my bold 9900 last november and back then I connected the phone to the computer and switch from the 9700 that i own previously. Since then I never connected the phone to the computer again until yesterday to update the software. In the middle of my first attempt to update there was a crash so I started again but for my surprise after de update has finished and i reinitiate the handset it seems that almost eveything was wiped out, I had to reinstal all the applications and when the phone was on it came the option the contacts from sim to be installed but then i have some contacts missing and part of the info of some of the ones that still there are also missing, the weird thing is the pictures that i had in the phone are all there.... DO you think theres anyway to get the contacts back? SHould I restore from the backup of the 9700 that i did when i bought the new phone?

May 16, 2012Problem Description I was in a middle of a workout with the MOTOACTV. It was connected wirelessly to my heart rate monitor. During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.

Feb 12, 2010I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

Oct 7, 2015I got the H815 unlocked european model today and I'm having some issues with my browser. I want Chrome to be my default, and when I click on most links it is, but when I search something from the google search widget, whether I use my voice or type, if I click a link it opens in the default LG internet browser.
I went to apps and defaults, then cleared 'Internet' from being the default and when I tried another search I was asked which I wanted as default and selected Chrome.

Aug 1, 2015I just got my G4 recently and I am very new to Android. So when I was surfing the web using Chrome, I bump into a website that show popup ads and only "Ok" option available, so I just keep clicking "ok" and "ok", sometime my phone vibrate and there's few times it also download some file and went to my 'Downloads' apps, but I didn't open/click the files, will my phone got virus or any prob?
Btw, I immediately download file explorer app and delete the files inside the 'Downloads' folder, but the file still exist in 'Downloads' app.

Nov 19, 2013When i tap the address bar to type a new search or even tap the X to stop uploading a page, it sometimes just not responding or doing anything, and after a few taps, it finally "agrees" to go into "writing mode", or stop uploading..
And while i'm at it, i tried a few browsers, but most of them were not as fast as the Chrome so ATM i decided to stick with it. Anyway, i was wondering if there's a good browser that lets you swipe left to go back, as in the IOS7 Safari? (instead of using the back softkey) it's also a bit weird that in order to go back pages when the phone is in horizontal view, my only option is to tap the back softkey, which is now placed on the right bottom side of the screen.. not very smart or comfortable.

Apr 12, 2015I've had this problem since Lolipop upgrade, my wife is now getting this problem after moving from Z1 compact (lolipop) to Z3 compact too, also seen this issue on XDA forums so it's a definite Z3 issue.
If I click a link in an app (Twitter, Google Search etc) then a Chrome tab opens but nothing loads in it, clicking the address and pressing return does nothing, copying the address and pasting in to a new tab or incognito window works OK. killing the app in the mutitask window doesn't work, restarting the phone allows it to work for a couple of days before it starts doing this again.
A solution is needed and rebooting the phone is not a solution, it's a temporary fix. I have a few Gb free on the phone, all other apps working fine. I'm on my 3rd Z3 in a few months, it's done it on all of them, resetting the phone to factory settings does nothing after a few days.
