HTC One M8 :: Trim Ringtone Button Grayed Out
Oct 6, 2014The "trim" button when selecting a new ringtone is greyed out for me. It's like that for every song/tone I've tried. What's up with that?

Google Nexus 6 :: Ringtone And Notification Volume Grayed Out
Nov 16, 2015Got the ota of Marshmallow 6 on my Nexus 6 from Verizon Wireless about a week ago....not to sure if this has anything to do with the new doze mode or not, but since the OTA, my volume on my ringtone, is grayed out, and I do not get any notification sounds or ringtone anymore.... How to make it right again?

Mar 31, 2012I just finished updating my Iphone 4's firmware to iOS 5.1. I have all of my text messages, notes, contacts, and mail restored, but none of my music, videos, or any of my downloaded apps have been restored. I tried to manually restore them but the last backup didn't save music, videos, or apps only the texts, notes, and contacts. After checking and unchecking the sync apps, etc. box in itunes under my phone, itunes will update the amount of memory used on my iphone, but it doesn't actually sync anything. I have tried to manually manage my music and vice versa but still nothing.
Also, I cannot sync through wi-fi because even though the box is checked for it on iTunes, my phone is not recognizing. My main problem is that the apply button for my changed options on iTunes is NOT working aka greyed out. I don't want to call Apple support and pay a ridiculous amount for a problem that's probably easily fixed or restore my phone again. Also, I have tried restarting my phone, itunes, and my computer various times. I am running the latest version of iTunes, ios firmware, and I have a pc.

IPhone 4s :: WiFi Button Grayed Out For No Reason
Sep 9, 2014So basically all of a sudden my wifi wasn't working, it just switched to data/3G. I thought the wifi was down so I just continued using data but after a long time I went to check and saw that the wifi was switched off and greyed out. I tried everything! I turned it on and off, I put airplane/do not disturb on, then turned my phone off waited 5-10 minutes, turned it back on then switched the modes off. It allowed me to turn the wifi button on so I thought it worked but no internet connections came up.
I locked my phone went to the movie theater then I noticed I couldn't even click on the wifi button at settings it just froze, same with trying to open up my texts, I couldn't even turn my phone off. I tried resetting network settings too. I finally restored it just now then backed up and now the wifi is turned off and grey again but everything else is working. I don't want to do the freeze/heating method so what else can I do? Is my only resort going in person to the local apple store?

Jun 25, 2014I re-set up my Hotmail account on my iPhone 4S (IOS 7.1.1) tonight after deleting it due to space issues. I have set it up as pop account with the previous settings but now to send a mail from my iPhone I have to save it as draft as the send button is greyed out. When I open the draft the send button is available and sends my mails as normal - what setting have I missed to make this happen?Â

Mar 12, 2015After finally getting access to the wifi button in safe mode, I knew the issue was caused by an app. The only one I had recently installed was TMobile. Sure enough, uninstalling it solved all 3 of these issues.

May 1, 2012How can I trim the first few moments off a workout since I generally start the workout from a stopped pace and then start moving it seems that it really screws up the graphs (large spike from not moving to moving) not really sure how to combat this but basically both runs I've done now the pacing graph is completely useless unless I zoom way in on specific points and even then it's not that useful.

The edit option in the Photos app doesn't do anything with videos. Is this the same for everyone, and if so, what are you using to trim video footage.

Â If I hold it down again, it will start playing again over the other ringtone and my only option is to use the rocker button to silence it but when I turn the volume back up it will still be playing so my only option to stop it is to restart. Apr 15, 2010This is an unusual situation. I have this ringtone that is a song about a cartoon character. Some kids texted it to me and I saved it in my ringtones folder. Later I tried to text it to a couple family members. On one of the attempts, it didn't attach because I hit the wrong selection (not sure what).Anyway, ever since, the song comes on constantly and plays all the way through. For example, if I receive a text, the normal text alert sound goes off. But afterwards, the song starts to play and I can't stop it until it has played through. If I receive an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message alert sound goes off, but afterwards the song starts and again plays all the way through.If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes off and plays all the way through. If I send an email, as soon as I hit send button, the song goes off and plays all the way through. Nothing I have tried seems to work.I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I have deleted the ringtone/song from my ringtone file and deleted the few messages and emails on phone where I forwarded it to myself or a family member. Putting the phone on silent doesn't seem to work. Once the song starts, I cannot stop it until it plays all 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not quit playing. So, I think you can see my dilemma. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? I thought maybe it had a virus, but no one that I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me. I did recently install a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system. Do you think it is a problem with the update?

HTC One X :: Vibration Feedback Grayed Out?
Dec 8, 2012This morning I have upgraded to Jelly Bean. Everything works a charm except for one small snag; I cannot seem to activate vibration feedback. The option is grayed out.
What I've tried:
1) Enabling sound feedback, disabling it, trying each variation of quiet, loud etc
2) Deselecting show �rroe keys"and "Trace keyboard".
3) Reset device (only soft reset) - I don't want to reset it to factory settings.
Have I missed something? I want to be able to turn this feature on - [URL]

Dec 4, 2014Ok look, it is not a hardware issue, why? Because five minutes before updating i was surfing youtube, I decided to go from ios 7 to ios 8.1.1, and then suddenly my wifi is like NOPE and is grayed out and useless. I hear its cause newer ios's over heat the older wifi components, but i can not prove or even look into that. All i know is that freezing it works for about an hour, then its kaput and grayed out again. Funny how my ipod 4 still works after years and years but my iphone doesn't. I have done the whole reset network settings song and dance, all that's left is to dig through the files and force it to work.
