I am looking for rubberized hard covered case for HTC Desire along protective film.Is any store in Toronto (preferably west GTA) ?Also, could you please share current experience with protective gear for HTC desire.
View 3 RepliesAfter recently buying a new Milestone outright I'm looking to protect the hell out of it. I currently have purchased a hard case for the phone itself (seidio innocase) as well as a screen protector.Now the next thing that I am looking for is a good Vertical case/pouch.The thing is that it must be vertical and it must be open at the top (I don't want a cover at all.I want to be able to slide the phone in and out easily). I also must have a belt clip on it.I have found a few online, but for what reviews that I have read stated that they are hard to get the phone in and out of when the phone is naked (no case on it). Since I am planning to have the phone in a hard case at all times that particular case will not work for me.
I have seen the pDair case and it looks good, but $28 USD plus shipping (to Canada) I want to make sure that the phone (in a hard case) will fit in it. I havn’t found any reviews on it as of yet either.I know that the iphone & Nexus One are about the same size as the Milestone and wonder if anyone has tried any of those cases with success? As I am sure (especially for the iphone) that there is a wider selection of cases available.
dose anyone make a hard case for my charm with the big battery? even one of the rubber ones?

The silver bit of the usb port came out on the end of the charger so i returned it for repair. It has come back with the CPW saying that it was due to mis-use and not covered ! Can BB give me a second opinion and how do i contact them for this sort of service?

(I do not have my purchase docs with me to look at.) I have cracked my screen completely and wandered how much it would cost for Apple to fix it. I do have insurance with my Orange contract the excess is £50 but as I only recently purchased the insurance it will take a week to process, alternatively a local company replaces the glass and screen for £45.

i have a iphone 4.it is yet under the warranty coverage.i visited a apple care centre for my non responsive home button.but there i came to know tha my iphone is water damaged.though my phone is in working condition now and it doesn't have any corrections at d dock and headphone jack as shown on the apple site for the liquid damage status, i am not getting iphone repaired for free under the coverage plan.

Are screen scratches covered under warranty. I've never used anything other than the stylus, it lives it's life in soft case, yet the screen is covered in scratches..especially where the scroll bars would appear.This is my 3rd phone.. the other 2 didn't scratch like this one has.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought my nokia 5233 sometime in january it worked fine until april or so, it would switch off automatically.At first I disregarded it thinking that i would have pressed the power button by mistake.Since two days this phenomenon is happening atleast about 7-8 times.I wouldn't like to take my phone to the Nokia care yet coz here in my country the Nokia care guys try to fleece you saying something has gone wrong which is not covered by warranty.Would any of you guys help me in diagnosing the problem so that I can fix it myself before I take it to nokia care?

For example, when I have my alarm set and set on alarm only for ringer, the alarm is so freaking loud it gives me a heart attack in the morning. Is there any way to turn it down before I set it? Since the ringer is set for alarm only I can not control the volume that way. Just wondering if there was a way to make it softer. Also, when its powered on and charging is there any way to get rid of the annoying little beep when it becomes fully charged? Hearing that at 2AM isn't fun. Again, I have the phone set to Alarm only and it still does that.

It has now completely covered the home button square and makes it appear very unsightly. A couple of days a go I noticed how the home button feels like it has sunk into the phone, you are only now able to push it partially down to use it. Multitasking now is fairly intermittent.

I recently purchased a Samsung S5 and a phone wallet cover with it.
When the phone wallet is open and bent around to the back of the phone (and the back of the phone is covered), an annoying alert tone sounds.
What this is and how to turn it off?
Well I have this phone for over 2 years and now I have a big problem with it that won't go away. The screen goes completely into stripes and is unreadable. It just showed up like that and it's always when I use the screen-lock button (slide button on the side) that this happends and then stays.Once I got rid of it by rebooting the phone almost 10 times or turning it of a whole day but as soon as I use the screen-lock button (slide button on the side) it comes back.

I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

I am wondering if I should keep the iphone case I have which is a white incase for my 3gs on or off. I mean I have taken it off today just to remove my clear screen protector, I have now noticed dust and some tiny items around the corner of the screen and the chrome part, which I am now trying to clean out. Whats the best way to clean this phone? I am careful with my iphone, never dropped it on the concrete ground. Only might have dropped it in the car a few times and next to my bed. However it is always in a pocket with no keys or coins. What do you guys think?
I was also going to say I do have mobile phone insurance too. So if I ever cracked or damaged it without the case. I am covered that way. So what is everyones opinion?
So I bought a used 3GS on ebay. The phone arrived with a hairline crack that the seller had not mentioned in the ad! Long story short, I got the seller to knock off $40 and then called apple who agreed to replace the unit. So I ended up with a new 32GB iPhone 3GS for only $290.
Which brings me to the question: Should I get a case? I know people drop the phones catastrophically all the time, but I heard that these phones, especially with the plastic back cover, are designed to be dropped and survive. For all you owners out there: if you had to do it over, would you still go for the case?
I'm looking to buy a case for iphone 4, any suggestions?
