Feb 5, 2016I have tried everything mentioned and I cannot get it to go away. It comes and goes at random too. I have yet to flash an older radio. I have completely factory reset my phone and it does not work. Rooted running PureNexus.

Jul 21, 2010Anyone else experience this? I did th sotware upgrade and a few hours later this happened. I tried manually connecting to the network and it wont. T-mobile asked me to send the phone back but there is a major scratch on the screen so they told me my return warranty was void now.So far I have a $400 paper weight. Anyone fix this issue?

Jan 25, 2015I set up my phone yesterday and within a short period of time my free 500mb monthly data was gone and then my credit was going down being charged for any more data usage. I would like to figure this out soon or I'll be charged £1 per day for any data I use or use unknowingly.
I would like to restrict background data but when I select 'Restrict background data', within seconds I get a notification saying
"Background data restricted. Touch to remove restriction" ...
And an exclamation mark icon remains at the top left of my screen. Is this normal? Is there a way to clear the notification and the exclamation mark while also keeping 'Restrict background data' on? The only way I can clear the notification and get rid of the exclamation mark at the top of my screen is by tapping on the notification but then background data is no longer restricted. I cannot swipe the notification away and the clear all is not there either.

May 8, 2015So I recently got my Nexus 5, switched as an avid Blackberry user (of the last 12 years, and 6 devices!) So far I LOVE the Nexus 5, and Android OS I think I should have been made the switch earlier. As soon as I got my phone and activated with my existing T-Mobile SIM, everything was working fine, except the Mobile DATA Network wouldn't work (only would work via wi-fi.) I called T-MO Tech Support 3-4 times, and after doing a factory reset, everything was back to working GREAT!
Now, 1 week later the Data Network stopped working AGAIN (I can make and receive calls, and text messages, however no Internet via Mobile Network.) I didn't change any settings or anything.. Again, I called t-mobile and they tried EVERYTHING (reset APN Settings, checked APN, Protocol, etc..) The last thing they asked me to do again was a factory reset, and once again everything seems to be working fine.
My question is: Why it keeps occurring? I don't use very many apps (FB, IG, WhatsApp, Weather, &Twitter only.) T-Mo was suggesting it could be an app causing this issue but I doubt it.
Google Nexus 6 :: Loss Of Connection With Exclamation Point?
May 28, 2015Since the 5.1 update my Nexus 6 on Sprint loses a connection a few times per day. I get an exclamation point. I have read this is specific to users of Sprint and T-mobile. I use Sprint. To correct this.. rather than restart the phone I activate airplane mode for a couple seconds. I was REALLY hoping that the 5.1.1 update would correct this. Nope. I have seen posts for this on the Google forum, but so far no solutions or solid reasons why it only affects Sprint and T-mobile devices. As I stated before.. this started AFTER the 5.1 update.

Everything went fine, up until I got to flash boot "fastboot flash boot C:image-hammerhead-krt16mboot.img" after that, the phone went into a boot loop for a couple of times, then, the droid with the red exclamation symbol appeared. I went to recovery, wiped data and cache. Which should fix it (right?)?
I can't go to fastboot to start over, nor anything for that matter.

Sep 6, 2012My Xperia Z5 quite often displays an exclamation mark next to the wifi symbol when I'm connected to my home broadband. I've googled this and it seems that this indicates that my phone is not connected to Google servers when it is displayed.
This seems to be the case as Gmail, for example, shows as no connection when the exclamation is displayed. To rectify I have to turn wifi off and back on again.
I have a fibre broadband connection so I can't understand why the phone does this when all other devices in the house work fine.

May 26, 2014Cannot update 4.4.2 ... red exclamation after installing. So after I finished downlaoding new update ota it brings me straight the installation. I waited and waited until the installation part is done and something hits me in the heart. Red exclamation mark came up and I couldn't do anything.
