When I try to add one of my contacts to "My People" it goes to my contacts but says "No Contacts" even though I have hundreds of contacts. Why won't my contacts link to "My People"? It is frustrating not to be able to use this feature.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

I went to call my friend so I picked up my phone and the red light that says its charging was still on and the screen wouldn't turn on. I already tried to restart it using the power and -volume button, I even called tech support and all of their suggestions failed! I usually charge it overnight and it's fine in the morning.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since the latest update from tmobile my favorite contacts are not appearing on my edge, the tab is only there sometimes. My settings is all correct and the only way that tab will appear is if I restart my phone and or go into my settings, turn off people edge and back on then it appears again, but only for a little while. Then disappears again, same with restarting my phone. This one of the main reasons I bought this phone.

After I updated my Samsung edge to lollipop 5.1.1 , it seems that the parallax effect or the 3D effect has stopped working. I know that if I hold on the home screen and click the wallpaper settings, I get a little toggle which switches the motion effect on/off. But what ever I do it still makes no difference to the home screen. it still stays the same. Is there something that I am missing or can I downgrade to lollipop 5.0?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently received a new samsung galaxy s6 with android 5.1.1 installed on it. first day everything went well no problems whatsoever, second day, i started to bump into some wifi issues which are now really pissing me off!
So the thing is, whenever i turn on wifi, 90% of the time, i can't find any connections. NONE! maybe after 10 minutes of leaving my phone i finally found one, and it isn't even my home connection.. I've been connected to my home wifi. And when i finally am connected the internet is so slow, i'd rather go back to my windows 98 pc and search via internet explorer, make the pc crash 5 times and still load the page faster than my cellphone.
Every time I got myself a new Samsung handset I register it with a hope that I will track it down. And now my phone lost and disappeared from Samsung find my mobile both my s5 and s6. Is that a sign that are being used even though I blacklisted them. How secure is find my mobile website, because even if they requested password change I would have received sms notification from my mail to go through my Samsung account.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLove the phone - just got a really irritating problem. I've synced my phone with my gmail account - the My Contacts list has my key contact email addresses. Then I have multiple groups within gmail account relating to work emails etc, nearly 500 odd.
On the phone, when I click my 'Contacts' button, initially it showed all my phone number contacts, as well all google email contacts mixed with them. I corrected this by going to 'display options' to select 'display only contacts with phone numbers', so that I didn't have to trawl through random email addresses mixed with my proper phone contacts. Great, sorted.
But, when I go to compose a text message - if it is to one or two specific contacts it is fine...I just type their name and it comes up. If I want to scroll through all my phone contacts to send the same message to multiple contacts, big problem - I press that envelope button in the top right corner next to 'enter recipient', and it takes me to the Contacts list, but here it still shows ALL 600 odd contacts with phone contacts still mixed with google email contacts, which is impossible to scroll through and select multiple people to send a text message to....Does anyone know how to sort this out?!??!
I can only delete one pic at a time. How do I delete multiple photos. Someone says tap on the trash button. Do I go to my pic and do that. I try that still doesnt work. There is no checked box for me to select more than iphoto.

I did a factory restore, and in the process I upgraded from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich - although I am not sure I did it correctly.
When I look at the "About Phone" section, the Android Version says: 4.0.3
The Baseband Version says: 19100XXLPQ
Build Number: IML74K.XXLPQ
(Cant remember where it used to say Gingerbread lol, but it doesnt say Ice Cream Sandwich anywhere)...
Anyway, since I did this, I can no longer hear people during a call.
It must be possible to have a different ring tones etc for different individuals.I can't see how I can do this, is there a way?
