Galaxy S6 :: Why Does Chrome Browser Keep Crashing
Oct 23, 2015I have a newish Galaxy. The browser crashes at least once a day, sometimes 2 or 3 times, and I haven't found anything on line about this.

Galaxy S5 :: Chrome Sync Crashing In 10 Seconds?
Apr 3, 2015S5 running Lollipop. Great update however
Now every time i load up chrome. If crashes within 10 seconds using about 1Gb of RAM and 50% cpu. so chrome is totally unusable for me.
What i have done is
-exported all bookmarks from chrome desktop
-deleted all sync data
-removed chrome completely from desktop and laptop
-fully reinstalled android on my phone
-reinstalled chrome on devices
-imported bookmarks via desktop
-let them all resync
Still got the issue. Huge memory leak and crashing.

But something just does not seem right while using apps that require scrolling up or down. EX: Facebook, Twitter, Play Store and especially the browser. Just to note Im on TMobile and am experiencing these after an uodate and factory reset after the update.

Feb 3, 2014Just got the Htc One Max and worked great for a few weeks then just a few days ago ,chrome began to crash every page I opened, it would get the full page loaded then crash to the home page . i re installed chrome then updated it and still nothing. With the keyboard i can type for at most 2 seconds then it disappears. I'm not turning it to portrait or landscape. I'm keeping the phone in the same orientation and the keyboard wont stop dispearing and then it wont appear again unless i restart the app even then it still disappears.

I want Chrome to be my default, and when I click on most links it is, but when I search something from the google search widget, whether I use my voice or type, if I click a link it opens in the default LG internet browser.
I went to apps and defaults, then cleared 'Internet' from being the default and when I tried another search I was asked which I wanted as default and selected Chrome.

When you tap the area it is supposed to be it briefly shows up but otherwise it is an empty space. I've tried resetting Chrome and reinstalling the updates but it didn't work. Not sure if this is 4.3 related or unique to Chrome.

Apr 26, 2010I started experiencing strange behaviour with my 5230 today. The web browsers is randomly crashing - at least I think it can be called crashing. When I'm surfing web it sometimes just closes unexpectedly (in the middle of loading the page or shortly after) and throws me back to the menu. It's extremely annoying as it seems to happen totally random (not on specific sites) and there is no error message or anything.
I'm using the default browser (Web) and the software version is 12.0.089. There is 7.86MB free of phone memory (haven't acquired memory card yet) - so there should be enough for web cache (tried clearing it also).
Is there any log file or something in the phone that shows more information about those crashes?
IPhone :: 4S Dropping Calls And Browser Crashing?
May 15, 2012I picked up a new iPhone 4S on day of release here in the UK (32GB White if anyone's interested!) and it's generally been ok.
It's always had a problem of dropping telephone calls, especially when I'm in the car. Since the update to 5.1.1, it's got much worse.
After a little bit of investigation whilst in the car, it seems that the dropping of the calls is when the phone switches from 3G to Edge to GPRS to GSM and back again. Now, I've had every iPhone on the day of release since the original. This call dropping makes me look a right pillock when on the 'phone to a customer and the call drops out 5 times in as many minutes!
my Safari keeps crashing when I'm trying to post on forums. I don't know why/what is causing it, but this never happened on the 4 and before.

May 13, 2011Since upgrading to 6.0 OS, the new browser keeps crashing (on the Bell network). It either doesn't nothing when I click on the icon, or it will load about 10% and crash. If I do a battery pull reboot, browser will work again for a short period, then randomly crash again.

They always had the same video player. and I loved that video player, but recently, I went on a site to watch a show and the video player had changed. On other sites I can watch videos but on this site, the fullscreen button doesn't work with this new video player. I want to factory chrome video player.

May 26, 2015Been having this problem the past few days where i open chrome, and within about 10 seconds (random time intervals) it will just close.
Sometimes i can get it open type in the address bar what i was going to type in and then it closes, sometimes i open the app and it closes right away. I haven't seen any updates recently so not sure whats been going on.I just tried clearing the app cache to see if that works, will report back later.
Clearing Cache didn't work, still seeing the issue. Can't seem to re-create it as it happens at random, but it is still happening.

It will open to chrome to a Web page that looks like Facebook saying I won a prize. The latest Web page is androidmax.mobi. The Web pages change from time to time but always end with .mobi. I Googled for a fix but can't find anything. It also at other times when I unlock or just random times open the play store to different games. This is extremely annoying. I've cleared cache and data on the play store and chrome too. It seems to stop for a few hours but always comes back.
