When i turn my camera on it makes a crackling sound and the image waves. I have to touch the screen a few times to get it to stop. Then when taking a picture the quality is very low, not anything like it was out of the box.

View 17 Replies View RelatedMy iphone 4 has been dropping calls from my office for the last 3 weeks. I have a signal booster and the signal always shows 4 or 5 bars, even when it drops the call. No one else has this issue and my provider has told me that both towers in the area are working good. When it drops the signal often i will hear a noise that sounds like the camera shutter (click) then it kicks me out to the lock screen.

My camera does not make any sounds when I take a picture and there is no toggle in the settings to turn it back on. I haven't downloaded any app to turn off the sound either. I know the sound exists because when I take a screenshot it makes the familiar "click" but no sound when I take a picture with the camera.

A couple of weeks ago I slept through my alarm, at least that's what I thought had happened. When I woke up some time later, there was a notification that I had missed an alarm. It seemed strange, since I've never not been woken by the sound of an alarm before.
The alarm worked fine for the six months before that, and has been working fine for the last few weeks.
Today I was awake before my alarm went off. I then watched my phone screen light up with the alarm, but no sound. I turned off the alarm and waited for my backup alarm. Same thing - no sound.
I did not have Do Not Disturb mode turned on. I almost always keep my phone on silent, and the alarm has always worked. I'm using the default Samsung clock/alarm app.
If it's as simple as using a different alarm app, that's an easy fix, although it doesn't leave me with much faith in Samsung. My concern is that it's a system issue. Unfortunately since it seems to be a sporadic issue, testing the alarm isn't going to tell me definitively if I've been able to fix the issue. Unless I can identify exactly what is causing the problem, I'm going to have to buy a dedicated alarm clock because I can't risk missing an alarm again.
I have a Sprint Galaxy s6. I want to turn off the shutter sound but there is no option in the camera settings to turn it off. As soon as my kids hear that sound they immediately stop whatever they are doing.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I open my camera app, sometimes the camera takes 1-2 seconds to initially focus and during that time it makes a loud buzzing sound. It sounds like a focus motor or something in the camera and the camera output on screen flutters while it focuses. Once it focuses, everything is normal and it doesn't make any more noise to refocus. This also doesn't happen every time I open the camera app, seems mostly random. I am already on my 2nd S6 since the first was defective for different reasons and I'm starting to get very disappointed with Samsung quality control.

Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader.
1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp
2. Currently you can choose the following sounds
1. Camera shutter
2. Bear can opening
3.Tennis ball
4. Laser
The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! I have multiple issues with my Blackberry strom 2 9550.1) I get crackling noise most of the time when i am on call but works fine in the the loudspeaker and headphones. When i reboot the mobile the problem is resolved for somedays.2) Sometimes my phone wont have any sound output at all, all by itself. While trying to play the songs from media, i get the msg error occured while playing the media.

I bought my lumia 920 two days ago.I like it.. it is very impressive.I have some problems and I would like to understand if they are related to software or hardware.bviously there is the problem of the random reboot. I am pretty sure it is software related, hope Nokia will fix this soon.The other issue is a sound crackling when a sound start, it happen after a notification, playing games and playing music... apparently it doesn't affect Nokia music app.The problem is not the speaker because it happen also with streaming audio via a2dp.

But today, during several phonecalls, I was told that they hear me sunk, like I was in a jar or something, and sometimes with few cracklings.
My Electrify reboots itself randomly when I am attempting to make a call. A few times during other things as well. Sometimes it also has a very loud crackling sound on the call.
