View 1 RepliesI have realized multiple times now that my battery actually goes up couple percentages without charging or plugging the phone into anything. It happens mostly when the phone is in battery saving mode, but I'm pretty sure I saw it happen without it as well.
I was able to see the slight increase in the battery app as well, which at least assured me that I'm not going crazy. Is this something normal either for this phone or any phone for that matter?
When I plug in my fiances iPhone it shows that it is charging, the green battery shows up, the battery icon on the top of the screen has a little plug in it just like it's charging but the battery level keeps dropping.
I have already restarted the phone, I performed a basic reset and I just finished wiping and reseting the phone to factory settings.
(btw, this problem started showing up last night and she updated her iPhone to 5.1.1 two days ago.)
My iPhone 4 is not charging. When I plug it, it makes the sound that it is plugged in and the battery indicator in the top right hand corner shows it's plugged in, but the battery life does not go up in percentage. I am running out of battery life as we speak.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a very frustrated issue with my Nexus 5 d820. The battery indicator suddenly started to stuck -for days- on random numbers like 93%, 88% but most of the time it's stuck on 100%. It does recognizes that I'm charging, but the values aren't changing.
Things I've tried:
Complete drain, complete charge.
Replacing the Battery.
Wipe to Factory / Wipe Cache
Install a brand new rom using fastboot
Install TWRP, Root
Replace the kernel to elementalx
What else can it be? is there an hardware part which is in charge of the battery indicator which I can replace?
I have UK unlocked m7 on kit Kat. Recently on occasions when I plug my phone into charger the phone does not charge. Battery appears to be charging on screen but wall charger does not get warm and percentage does not rise. Happens with whatever charger I use. A day or so later phone charges again. Sent phone back to HTC for this and camera issue. Camera sorted but still charging issue.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI had notice that it was time for my Torch 9850 to update its software, so I clicked Software Update and began. Last time, my phone went blank and multiple issues occurred. But, it started backing up data around 7 am. But, since then the percentage has stayed at 8%! That was over 6 hrs ago! And its not like its frozen cause if I put the charger in the battery amount and the little lightning bolt comes up as usual. Is the backing up suppose to take this long or is there something really wrong with my phone?

I haven't seen the battery charging percentage while charging with the phone being switched off since I flashed code blue kernel. You know the white battery icon that shows when the phone is turned off but is charging? I don't see the 'blue' battery percentage text on that anymore. I flashed the factory images afterwards to see if that fixes it, but it didn't. Not a big deal but is definitely and odd quirk.

My phone ran out of battery so I put it on charge, as normal. Upon returning to my phone 30 minutes later it was on a bright, light blue / green screen that said "Factory Mode" in the top left corner and "Downloading - Do Not Turn Off Target" in the centre. I left this for an hour as I couldn't do anything, and it is still the same? Can't even turn the device off, or on.
I've not even had the phone a month, only have a handful of social media apps and last used it to take photos. Phone ran out of battery again. Rebooted after a charge and it is fine.
Okay, first let me start off by giving some descriptions to questions you may have:
*My phone is not rooted.
*I have not messed with any modifications.
*My phone's automatic update is turned off. (I haven't update since 4.42.)
*I've already erased the cache in recovery mode.
*I don't have a back-up.
My phone had died because the battery life ran out. I charged it fully and unplugged it. I kept it off for a little while, and when I turned it on it booted normally to the start-up screen, blinked off and restarted back to the screen; it remained stuck there. I can power off and enter recovery mode, but I can't power off. The charge logo appears when I plug it up, but it stays there with an empty power logo even after I unplug it. I have to always take out the battery to turn it off. What did I do wrong, and I can I fix it without having to wipe out documents? (I have a lot of writing documents).
I just got my hands on N95 8GB yesterday so I was checking different things in it. And suddenly it got stuck it didn't let me do anything so I took out the battery and then put it back and turned it on but it never turned on.When I plug in the charger it doesn't give any response. But when I use USB cable then screen light turns on and I can see that the mobile is getting charged. But when I try to turn it on it just dies again. But the keypad and lights stays on. And now I don't know what to do.

It seems frequently, the battery charging indicator will get stuck at a certain percentage even though it shows the charging taking place but the % would not increase. It will charge while the phone is off but even after powered off and/or powered off and restart, it will either continue charging or it will charge but not update the %...
View 17 Replies View RelatedWhen I use an older, slower charger for my GS6 overnight, my battery usually lasts all day, unless under HEAVY use of video or music. However, when I use the Fast Charging cord that was boxed with my GS6, it seems to charge to 100% at lightning speed, but then seems to lose power 5 times faster the next day. I may barely use my phone for <10 minutes during the day, and it is down to 10% by 5pm! So, fast charging = faster battery loss? I'm not seeing an upside to the Fast Charging, at all.

View 2 Replies View Relatedtrying to get the damn thing to charge, plug, unplug, check its still charging, its stopped, repeat process, never fully charges. Got a new charger for it, had ONE full charge then had the same problems. Hard reset the other day and is now worse than ever. Last night it was charging for ages, came back to find it at 0% even though it was still merrily flashing to say it was charging, clearly it is not. Left over night to find it had died altogether, cue the usual hours and hours of trying everything to get it to come back on,heating, soft reset, hard reset, unplugging, trying various places to plug in, all usb ports etc blah to then get stuck in the infinite reboot cycle.A zillion hard resets later it finally comes on, leave it to charge a little before going through the set up, there was a small amount of charge, come back to do set up and its gone back down to 0% of its own accord.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 3GS, and yesterday it ran out of charge. I plugged it into my wall socket as normal, but all I got was the black screen with the apple logo, which disappeared after about 15 seconds. I have tried to hold down the home and on/off key together; to try and restore it, but nothing happened. I have tried to plug into my computer and open in iTunes, but iTunes does not find it. The only thing it appears to do when it is plugged into anything, is show the apple logo on the screen and then switch off after about 15 seconds.

Several flashing attempts failed. Now i'm stuck in the "bootloader usb init" screen.(but thats another problem i'm trying to get help with in another thread.)I started with a fully charged good battery, but after hours of trying to get this thing back into verizon by flashing it with VRZ_E815_01.1E.0R_PRIii09574_MONSTER_01.shx , i believe i'm outa juice, well the battery is.So I plugged it in the charger, it's still in the bootloader mode and on! Now.It's been about 4 hrs, but the phone still turns off after displaying 'hello moto' for 1 second(when charger is unplugged), which make it impossible to try fixing the flashing problem.
QUESTION:
How do i know that/if the battery is charging while in the bootloader state?.. or is this phone turning it self off, not a battery problem at all, but has something to do with the failed flashing... a dead phone?
I have a problem with charging my phone, no matter if via usb charger or AC-10 charger that came with the device. The problem is, charging indicator does not stop even after several hours of charging. Battery is charged at 98% or so. It happens very often, but not always.

So when my s6 is charging it will light up and not turn off by itself. It is dim, but it is always lite up. Is there a way to have it off while charging while not turning it off completely and having to click the side button every time a notification pops up? Shouldnt it just go black by itself after a couple second just like it does when its not plugged in?
