I saw a photo in my phone's gallery but i didn't recognize the person on it. I don't know where it came from and how it was sync to my phone. I can see the path of the photo but it doest tell me what app it came from. how to trace it? I have the photo and details available.

I have already tried checking the recent calls, texting the phone, offering a reward, even contacting At&t - all to no avail.
So I am wondering if its possible AT ALL to Track this thing down.
i have 2 iphones. i need to know if there is a way to track their locations on line? i downloaded findmyiphone on one but forgot to do it on the second lphone and I have given to my friend who is away. Is there are app that is secured that i can download to my laptop to trace where the phone is? Verizon does NOT offer family locator with the IPHONE! Im not happy about that. What gps or systems that are secured can I download to find my second iphone.... both phones and account are only under my name at verizon

And the photo is not being saved..I tried to change the saving location from sd card to internal.. Same problem... I also tried clearing the cache of the camera app.

After I came back, I found there is no way to forget the saved wifi as I could not find it in my Wifi network list. There is a menu icon to see Saved Wifi when goes to Wifi Setting for the other mobile phone with Android Lollipop from other manufacturer, but that icon is missing from Samsung Galaxy S6. Is there any other way for me to forget those wifi networks saved in other place?
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone will no longer automatically connect to saved WiFi networks. It knows they're there, because if I go to Settings -> WiFi, it shows up in the list as a "saved" one. Tapping on it and selecting "connect" does nothing. I have to turn off the WiFi and turn it back on, and it will then automatically connect.
Additionally, WiFi will not stay off. If I'm some place I don't want it to connect to WiFi, I turn it off so that I don't get messages that networks are available (specifically when I'm driving, it's really annoying to deal with that over Waze).
I've got a Sprint GS5, running stock (not rooted), on 5.0. No updates available for the phone. It does this on every WiFi network I have saved (home, school, and school apartment, among others). I've also tried turning Smart Switch off and on, it makes no difference for either issue.

I am just using the video player that came standard with the camera app. Is this the standard samsung video app? There is no settings option or capture option. I called Samsung and they had me search the phone in several places to look for the pictures with no luck. Has anyone lost pictures after an update? How to find my photos? I did not have auto-back up on, but I do now.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the last two weeks, something is causing my 4G/LTE Xoom to ring like a phone, but there is no notification and no trace of any app running that would cause such a ringing. I have System Monitor installed, and tried closing/stopping processes one by one, but I could not identify the cause. When I stop ALL applications/processes at once, the ringing stops. In fact, besides rebooting, this is the only way to stop the ringing. I have tried looking at running processes/apps when it occurs, but no app with a ringtone like this is apparent. I know it is a rogue application, but I cannot isolate or identify it Lookout and McAfee both show no issues when Xoom is scanned.

As well as this, all my text messages have no contact names assigned to them, just their number. However in my call log, my contacts names come up... And when I click on view contact through the call log, the contact's details all come up!!! For example, one of my contacts, John, is saved on my call log and when I click on view contact through the call log, his address and number comes up, so it is saved. However when he calls, his name doesnt come up...

I have an M8 and I when I save a contact it automatically gives me the option to save it to phone. I have to select the option to backup into Google. So I accidentally saved it to the phone and not Google. So now I cant figure out how to go back and save it into Google once it is saved into the phone. I can just delete the contact and resave it but I would like to know if there is a better way to do it that I am just not seeing?
