My friend has just changed from a gmail email account to an iCloud email address to use on FaceTime. I use my macbook (purchased last november) to sync all my address between my devices when things change, and when call her via my macbook or iPad it connects perfectly, yet when I try to connect using my iPhone I get the message "xxxxx is not available for FaceTime". All my setting are identical on each device, so what could be going wrong?
Im having trouble using facetime between my IPhone4 and my macbook... When I call from my macbook to my IPhone 4, the call goes through but never connects... (iphone display), while on my mac, the call keeps ringing. On the other hand... when I call from my IPhone4 to my mac... the call drops and displays a message (user busy / not available for facetime). When I use fecetime from my IPhone 4 to call friends either to there IPads, IPhones and mac´s, the call goes through with out a problem... the same thing using my mac... Could it be the im trying to use the same user ID between my IPhone and mac?, I have my IPhone for facetime under my cel number, and my mac under my email. (Different User ID)... Why cant I get to work it...

I got a new phone number and I changed my AppleID passwords and everything so now I want to get my Imessages on my Macbook air, but when I go onto my iPhone 5s it will not let me change from the old AppleID to the new one so I can have the Imessages on my computer.
I've been having troubles with using facetime with my iphone. I never had this problem before getting a mac. Whenever I receive a facetime call or try to facetime someone, it says it's connecting but after a while, it says it's unable to connect because whenever I receive a call, my mac also receives it and when I pick up the call from the iphone, the mac somehow ends the call. However, for some reason, facetime works on macs.
Having had issues with my SIM card (I was getting invalid SIM daily) my provider swapped the SIM and ported the number to a new card. Since doing this however Facetime no longer works or the find iphone ability through iCloud - just says that its not available. Phone is working fine on everything else. Is there some sort of registration I need to go through with the new SIM card?
If you are unaware, AT&T offers data only plans to those who are hearing impaired (deaf).Since you have to CALL someone to do facetime, how does that work when you dont have voice plan at all. I know that after your call connects and you can move to facetime and your call will drop. But if you dont have any voice plan at all, how does that work ?They were not very clear about this.
My phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.
I have my FaceTime set up on both devices, wifi on full bars, but it says FaceTime failed when I call. I also call from both devices at once and it makes no difference. I know the information is correct.
Usually advice relating to updates on either my iPhone or my iTunes. This time though, both are updated. Have checked several times. When I open itunes, which is working fine, currently talking to my Apple TV and playing tunes, showing photos etc etc, but in the devices section there is nothing...?
I was using my Iphone 4s with Windows PC and thus have all my apps backup on windows pc, now i have bought a macbook pro the process of getting all the apps from my windows based system to macbook?

I just purchased the new iphone 4s a few weeks ago, and haven't been able to get my Macbook Pro to detact it when I plug the phone into my computer. I've tried multiple usb-to-iphone cords and none of them are working. Neither the computer nor itunes are detecting that a device is plugged in at all.
I've maxed out my photos/videos storage on my phone and have no way to move them from my phone to my computer. I tried communicating to my phone from laptop via bluetooth, but it won't work either (though computer detects phone and vice-versa, the connection isn't successful in the end)
I really want to be able to connect my iphone via usb
My MacBook Pro is OS X Version 10.6.8
Is there a requirement for my macbook to upgrade to another system before it will read my iphone 4? That sounds like a racket to me.
I recently downloaded the app, "Priorities", and love it on my iPhone. However, it won't load onto my MacBook Pro and I would love to have it sync from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro.
My MacBook Air cannot Blutooth fully with my iPhone. It connects saying phone is paired but cannot do anything with it because "services not available"
I recently purchasd a used Macbook pro and tried to sync my iphone. It does not show up in itunes. How do I get it to show up in itunes so I can sync it?
I recently pruchased my first MAC, a Macbook pro. I hooked up my iphone to sync all the music i have on it and the only thing that will transfer is some of my "purchased" songs. Thats about 150 of 650 songs. I have tried selecting "sync all music automatically" but it tells me by doing this i will replace my iphone library with the computer library meaning i will lose on 500 songs. I had a Dell PC before this and never had trouble. It crashed so i am unable to access itunes from that computer.
