I tried to install several games on my nokia e72, but I can't. every time, i try to open jar or jad file to install game, it keeps showing "installing" for several minutes, but doesn't do anything at all. can you tell me what's wrong with it or how to fix this problem?

I did the install and after a restart, was prompted to do several more updates: Anna 1/2, Anna 2/2, Ovi Suite, Maps and Anna Service Pack. When the update finished I was told that Anna1/2 and Ovi Store had failed, while the others were all sucessful. I have tried it several times but it fails every time.The phone appears to be working OK but the failure of Anna 1/2 is a bit worrying as I do not know the significance of it and the Ovi Store failure is annoying as I cannot launch it. The Ovi Store would not launch previously either ,so I was hoping the upgrade to Symbain Anna would fix that

Trying to install my email settings to my new E7. For some reason I seem not to be able to find any other email setting possibilities than Mail for Exchange and web-based (Gmail, Ovi etc). I have tried to give the email settings program a dummy password to be able to manually edit the settings, but the phone seems not to provide me any other options than Mail for Exchange.
What should I do to be able to set up my plain old IMAP email? I have done that manually on already 5 different S60 phones so I am perfectly capable of doing that myself once the phone provides me the possibility to write the settings somewhere.

When I turn the phone on now it starts installing something and then I get a message saying "Unable to complete the installation from the memory card. To install remaining applications go to Application Manager." Could this be because I deleted the two apps? How I can find out what it is trying to install and how I can stop it trying to install it?

If I try to uninstall any sis/sisx apps already installed, I get an error message saying, "Removing failed". The problem started for apparently no reason about 3 months after I bought the phone new, prior to which I had no problem installing/uninstalling sis/sisx apps. No problem with Java apps they install/uninstall with no difficulty -- I have verified that myself.How do I solve this problem? The problem with reinstalling the firmware is that I see no option given in Nokia Suite to reinstall the current firmware. The Support Software fails to install and the C Memory appears full whereas when I view device information about 320 MB is still free out of 471 total device memory.
Also downloading software completes successfully but through the application manager installing the software returns an error that the file is corrupt.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded "storeinstaller_tb92_QTbundle_prd_PROD_3.18.036" and installed on top of Nokiastore which was updated from ovi-store via phone update. Now When i installed this 3.18.036 version, I come to know that this is for symbian belle and not workign well in my E7, very sluggish in performance. So I unistalled the Nokia store. It restarted the phone and i see that OVi store has come instead of old - nokia store,Now I am unable to update to the latest Nokia store which was working fine until recently, any suggestion how to update it via phone will be helpful, I have checked software updater, but no luck.Also why certain apps which I downloaded frombeta labs, doesnot update automatically, the updates ae available but everytime I hv to download from betalabs, why software update can't find if any update are vailable for the installed software?is it a bug in Nokia software updater?
