I would like to now if it's possible to add the IM service: Yahoo Messenger to the default Nokia IM application on the NOKIA C2-01. The only IM service on the NOKIA IM application is Ovy by Nokia.
View 3 RepliesI recently bought a Nokia C3-00 WiFi phone but I can't seem to browse my home wireless connection with it. The phone can detect and connect with the wireless network successfully but when I open my mobile browser, it can't load websites, saying "Service not available."However, I can connect and browse the internet through other WiFi hotspots, just not my home connection. The router I'm using is LP-8616. It's an AP router, if that helps. Unfortunately, there's no firmware upgrade for this router anymore.

After update all messages are erased and she had important information there. I installed Ovi Suite on Mac and downloaded extra support for C7, but I couldn't restore that information. She never installed Ovi Suite on her PC. My question is: is she installs Ovi Suite for PC on her laptop, will she be able to restore old messages? I recently switched to Belle as well on my Nokia N8, but I'm not that crazy about old messages, so I haven't noticed it. I checked on my phone using Files disk C, but there wasn't any folders with my username.

Now after the update the Nokia Mail does not open anymore. When I push the Mail-button on my C3-00 it shows "opening mail" and then NOKIA "Loading Mail", the white screen with the yellow envelope. But then nothing happens anymore. The screen stays this way FOREVER. It does not freeze, I can exit the application YES/or NO.
I've done everything I know to do (reset network settings, hard reset, software update, restore to factory default, replace sim card) still have not fully resolved the issue. It seems to work periodically at random, but only has 1 or 2 bars where I should normally have full service.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI just acquired my N900 two days ago from a Nokia authorised dealer in Nigeria and even convinced a colleague to pick one yesterday as well.I live in Nigeria and my GSM operator is etisalat, im presently experiencing difficulties with using service commands on my phone. For instance, when i dial *235(hash, sorry cant find the symbol on my macbook pro) to check my balance; i get an error message saying "number incorrect". Other service commands dont also work. Is there a way around this?
Its frustrating also that there is no official Nokia plugin for isync. I use a macbook pro and cant seem to find a way around syncing both devices. In the interim, I found www.salling.com very useful in transferring my media files.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Ovi Suite 2.1.1.1 to replace my PC Suite. I should have read the threads here before doing so. Anyhow, although I regret making the decision to switch to Ovi Suite; however, I'm where I'm right now. So, I've been trying to update my Nokia E72 firmware for the last three days with no luck. Tried many times to check for updates while my E72 is connected. After a mintue or so I get the following error message:
Nokia Ovi Suite software update service is not responding.
Make sure the internet connection is working or check your firewall settings, and try again later. I have Windows 7 Business. I've allowed Ovi Suite through all types of Windows firewall (Domain/Home/Work/Public). I also allowed Nokia Service Layer Host Process through the same thing. I have MS MSE as my antivirus program. I could be wrong, but it seems Ovi Suite didn't go through proper QA before being released. I guess Nokia needs to regain our confidence again once they do their next release of Ovi Suite.
She owns a 7610 supernova. and has an issue which is doing her head in. (and mailing me 5 times a week about it so i want to help sort it lol)every time she sends a message or ends a call she recieves a message from o2 about her credit. as i recall it's a service message (not SMS) and this makes a noise when these come through.she wants to silence these if possible. is there any way to do this please.(sorry i'm an s60 user so don't want to get confuddled)
