Cseries :: C6-01 - GPS Unable To Locate Position?

have the following problem.I installed Symbian Belle 2-3 day ago with the latest Ovi Maps and I came in Spain to found out that my GPS is not working. I've waited more than 30 minutes to locate my position few times but unsuccessfully.I'm here for 10 days, I need my GPS and I'm unable to reinstall my softwareNokia failed again with the software update. The last time with Symbian Anna I wasn't able to use Ovi Store for few months, now my GSP in not working, I'm tired to search for solution in the Internet, because Nokia don't test the software update and let their buyer to do that.I'm using Nokia phones for around 10 years and I haven't use any other make since my first Nokia phone, but I'm considering to buy a new phone, because now I'm not sure in their reliability anymore, which was their best quality.

I have bought the C2 one week ago and I am facing the following problem: With the maps application I am not being able that the phone indicates my position. I have tried all the tips that I have found. Is there any configuration that I am missing ? It does not have as well the indication of GPRS connection?

I am using ovi maps v 3.03 on my 5230 and everything is ok. My younger brother bought nokia 5233 yesterday. We downloaded this version on his phone but we are unable to get position (longitude, latitude etc.) in gps data. What I want to know is which positioning method option should be enabled on 5233 Bluetooth, network based or both?

I wanted to transfer the existing notes in my N8 to my computer. But I was unable to locate the notes through the Ovi suite. Even I used the file manager to find it in folders in phone memory but was unsuccessful

I have a blackberry bold 9700 and drive a mini cooper. The Bluetooth has worked flawlessly until this weekend when my contacts list stopped being shown on the car's Bluetooth device. I deleted the device and re paired it but I still get a message saying "unable to locate objects push server. The Bluetooth still works in the car but I can't access my phone book as shown on my device.

I was able to load some template messages like "see you soon" or "on my way" and now I cannot find the screen. I thought it was under settings/messages/saved messages - or something to that effect but now I cannot find it. Where I might locate this screen or whether it has been taken off since the last upgrade?

I am unable to locate my ADW launcher icon. I did note that ADW is still running however. Following a web search I learned that I could disable the phone's original launcher. I'm not savvy enough to know what the launcher is or how to do that.

I recently installed PC suite on my PC. I am trying to sync with Outook MS exchange. So far, I have been unable to do so. I receive a "PC Sync was unable to locate your Outlook message store" error message. By searching this board, it appears that this is a fairly common problem. I have never had any nokia products on it prior to my attempts.Connecting via USB (no errrors or problems reported with this).Does anyone have a bonafide solution for this? This really sounds like buggy software to me.

my friend just bought nokia c7-00 made from korea,it happened that its battery was low and finally the mobile switched off.Then when after long time of charging,when he switched on the phone,it is unable to come to home screen or even asking pin code number for his sim card,it is just displaying NOKIA when he he switch the phone and it keep on displaying it without booting and coming to homescreen.

I have a Nokia C7 .recently I have upgraded it with latest OS software which is Symbian Anna versn-22.014.But after the upgradion I am unable to use my any OVI Application (Maps, Facebook through OVI etc.).Its giving error Network not available, but I am able to use Nokia browser and able to access all the sites.

I don't pay my service provider T-Mobile for internet acess on my phone, because I don't use Internet much and this phone already got Wi-Fi. So sometimes the phone's Wi-Fi worked just fine. But also sometimes it takes like 30 seconds (which only takes about 10 seconds when it worked) to load and then it said "Service not available". I had tried to use Wi-Fi with the phone closer to my modem with the Wi-Fi signal really strong, disconnected and reconnected, and turn the phone off and on again, but the problem sometimes happen, not always. So is this because of the phone's Wi-Fi receiver is bad, or something else?

I tried to update the software of Nokia C5-05. It goes upto 3rd step Installing and shows 15 minutes remaining. Then after some time it shows "connection to the phone was lost". And asked to disconnect and reconnect. I tried this about 50 times in two days but same situation every time. Please suggest a method.

After trying to update my C7 to the latest Symbian Anna software on my PC from OVI suite, the installation when halfway through suddenly stopped and would not complete. The handset now does not power on at all. You feel a vibrate when pressing the power button, but the phone does not boot. Tried taking battery off, re-installing but still no joy.

Today ( 05 October, 2011 )I bought the Nokia C2-03 with an expectation that Since it is built by Nokia then It must be best. Believe me that although there are many dual sim mobiles in the market yet I keep wait for the nokia's dual sim mobile. I bought it and bring this phone to my home. First its display quality disappointed me, as in the same range other brand have good quality display, yet I was ready to compramise with display quality. But I totally frustrated when I am unable to scroll the list item using my finger on touch screen. The scroller won't work. I restarted the mobile and even remove the battery and then I again restart my mobile after putting the battery again. I totally disappointend and curse myself on the decision of buying This nokia product.

I'm using nokia e-mail app for my yahoo account its working fine to view e-mails.But I'm unable to download the attachment attached to the mail.While click on the attachment it doesn't responds.And So I used web browser to download .But there to I faced some problem with downloading *.doc WORD file(my resume).It doesn't come as attachment instead it opening as web page I can view only but not allowed to download.
