With the original Storm, I could separate my emails from my PIN and SMS messages. I just switched to the Storm2 and can't figure out how to do it with this operating system (5.0.0.320).

When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
How come multiple emails in a chain (same subject between multiple people) are combined in my email folder (like gmail), but they aren't in the messages folder?
I looked in Options under my Messages folder but couldn't find anything that would do this. Is it possible?
I'm trying to make space for more icons in my top two lines so I would like to use just my Messages folder, but I hate how you can see EVERY email in a chain. Some between my friends and I have 30+ emails.
I'm just wondering how long it takes for your device to receive an e-mail? I tend to send things to myself, such as wallpapers, and it seems to take a while for the e-mail to reach my device. Just wondering how long it takes everyone to get an e-mail.

However, i realized i haven't gotten an email in a while (im normally good to get at least 3 an hour from reps in my field) So i looked into it and got on my laptop and checked. What I mean is I never automatically see the pictures or the email that it would normally show as in a regular email. Is it supposed to do this? A "shrunk" down email on bb? Any suggestions? I recieve and send messages under my "messages" icon on my phone
I have BB mail, POP3 mail, SMS. None of them have unread messages. There are no missed calls. I went into each message service, clicked on the very top and told it to mark all messages read, on the chance that somewhere in there is a oddly dated message. I did a battery pull. This happened after I updated to the latest OS this morning.
Facebook is caught up. No notifications showing for it. I sent myself a message and then read and deleted it (yup, I am reading the forums looking for this problem). The icon is a gold envelope with a red asterisk in its top right, under the battery indicator. It has a 2 to the left of it.
When I push the "Messages" icon on my Storm 2 to view email and voice mail, there are 2 voice mails that are always there - I delete them every day but they return for some reason. I go to Visual Voice mail and they are not there - only under the "Messages" icon.

But my e-mails for some reason are going straight to the messages folder and not to my e-mail at all. I would much rather have them go to my e-mail folder.

When I check an email on my Blackberry, it is marked as read, obviously. But when I click on that email again in Entourage is re-sends the email to my device. This has always happened, I've gotten over it. But now I am realizing that when I delete that duplicate email off the device by using "Delete off handheld", it deletes BOTH of the emails on the device! Have any of you seen this?

When I send a message from my gmail web client, I often would like to bcc myself so that I have a copy of that message on the device when i am away from the computer. When I try to forward emails to people who aren't in my contacts list, the send icon does not function (highlight) so I'm unable to send them. Is there a setting I don't have enabled?

Recently, my blackberry fails to sync with messages deleted in my yahoo inbox. I have to go on the device and delete the email a second time. Has anyone else had this issue or can you offer any advice to fix the issue?
I have tried waiting an hour or more to see if the blackberry will reconcile and remove the messages. Also, I go into my email and select reconcile now. These things did not work. I have not changed any of my email sync settings from when the blackberry was syncing fully. They are still set to inbox wins. Also, I even tried resending service books and deleting/reinstalling the yahoo email. None of these have worked so far!
