BB Software :: Retrieving Cleared History Messages?
Nov 23, 2010
how to retrieve messages that I have deleted in error by pressing "Clear History". Is there a way or a location where I can retrieve it? It was an important conversation which I wanted to "Copy History" and instead I pressed the "Clear History" key.
device memory - used space list downloads as 8.00 kb (.pdf files) - already deleted the downloads history - how do i delete these files? they are taking up allot of device space! I have a Samsung Galaxy 5
Just purchased an BB Bold. I have several e-mail accounts. When I add those accounts to my BB it only shows me any mail that arrives after I load the accounts, all my past mail does not show. Could someone tell me how to load all my complete email history.
I Just wanted to find out if there is any way you can view messages after you end chat or clear messages on BBM?And no they were not backed up to PC or Blackberry protect. Is chat history not stored temporary on a DB file on the phone somewhere and call it up like the event log by holding down alt and type lglg ?
Why does my Storm not keep old SMS messages? Why does it not warn me that they get deleted? Why is there no noticeable way to manage the goddamn 1GB of onboard memory so that this DOES NOT HAPPEN? It's unbelievably ridiculous, as opposed to e-mails there is NO backup for SMSes, which can often be quite personal and irreplaceable. Is there any way I can get them back? NO phone has ever done this before! Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Symbian ALL keep ALL messages, even a 10$ Nokia would tell you the memory is full without deleting anything!!
I have used my laptop to look for old BBM messages and the BBM contact I wish to view has two folders one ending in .csv which is more current and still visible on my phone and the other ending in .OLD which is the one I want to see but I am unable to open this on my laptop?
I can't seem to retrieve text messages from mid October for some of my contacts. I need to retrieve some of these older messages but can't seem to see them. Any assistance would be appreciated. I have a 9360 curve.
I recently noticed that I can't find old text messages (older then one month) on my blackberry phone. I haven't deleted them but they seem to automatically archive, is there any way to turn this off, or alternatively find these messages somewhere?
Under my message general options I have set, "Days to keep messages:" to Forever.Does that mean they stay where they are or do they get saved to another location on my device? Also, recently my Curve 8520 went caput so I was given a replacement handset. Not in my BB Desktop Software, I have backups for two handsets.I need to get access to texts and e-mails BEFORE I set the above setting to Forever which may mean thos texts / e-mails are in earlier backups on the old device.Q: Am i able to backup my new/current handset (also a curve 8520) with the very first backup from my previous curve 8520?If not, is there any way I can get into the backup file and interrogate the data within it to get texts from in there?
So I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310. Last June it wasand I thought it was lost forever. In the mean time I just used an extra cell phone from my office that had a different #, while I saved up for the new IPhone. Come December I get new IPhone and they give it the same # as my BlackBerry. Now, believe it or not I have the BlackBerry back in my possession, it still has the same SIM card in it. After charging it up, I turn it on, very excited to get all the text messages that I had missed since June. But there were only the few that I had saved for some reason or another, but not so many that it would have been full. It was as if the phone no longer received any data after it was either powered down or went dead.
if it's possible to retrieve text messages from a blackberry if they're NOT saved on the sim card.I have a Curve 8250 if that makes a difference.I want to retrieve any deleted text, sent, or received.
I couldn't find what I was looking for searching, so sorry for the new thread..I need to retrieve deleted text messages from the past month from one person in particular. I've done search after search on my phone and it's only giving me the messages I've sent to that person and not their messages.
Is there a way to pull these messages or do I need some sort of software? I haven't done a backup for a few months since I only use it as a phone and for Facebook. Please tell me there is someway to pull these messages. I need to catch this perp now and report him to my pastor.
My Wife has an 8310 with a broken data/charge port and we need to save the text messages off of the phone to be used in court. Is there any way to save the text messages to the media or sim card? She already has a new 8310 and she has to return the old phone (with the messages) to the warranty company. She was emailing some of the text messages but for some reason she can no longer email from that phone.Any an dall help will be appreciated.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. It seems the newest update cleared all the saved appointments on my calendar and when I try to readd them it says they're saved but they are not. I don't know which calendar this is. It is the one that came as a default in the apps section of my phone. Do I have to sync it with a Samsung account or is it a Google calendar. I only want to save to my phone not have a million accounts everywhere.
On my iPhone, I accidentally cleared my missed calls. How do I restore or recover them? I need a number that is in there. And since it was a missed call, Verizon doesn't have it.
For the past 6 hours I've been trying to unbrick my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (G925-W8). I accidentally cleared all the files/ caches with TWRP, now I do not have any OS on it.
Things I've done: Used Odin to flash a md5 file or a rom I keep getting an error
I'm so lost, I just got the phone yesterday as well too...
I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 with a data plan and I recently did an OS upgrade using the update feature on the phone itself. However, after the upgrade I noticed that my memo pad and task data were cleared out which seems odd to me, because it spent a good chunk of time creating a backup, and after the update the core data, communication data, and calendar data remained intact.
This is somewhat stressing because I had typed a few ideas out on my phone's memo pad and had not backed them up (slap on the hand for me), and now I no longer have access to them.
