How to get push emails ? LG G3
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using Nokia messaging on my E72 with my gmail account...is it normal that my gprs/umts connection remains always active to check new mail? I thought that Nokia messaging worked the same as blackberry smartphones, so my phone has to use gprs/umts connection only when nokia messaging server sends him a notification of an incoming mail...is is possibile to let e72 work this way?
View 7 Replies View RelatedOn my old unlocked (T-Mobile) iPhone, Push notifications worked, but after upgrading to an iPhone 3G, I don't receive Push notifications.
Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
I have Gmail pushed to my phone via Google's push instructions (exchange server).Because I want push notifications, I am in search of the best notification app.I have used Gpush in the past and it seemed to be decent. I then read that Push Gmail was better, so I made the switch and have been using it ever since. My experience with both of these apps has been that both are prone to outages (sometimes days/weeks long) and delays in pushing notifications to my phone. Is there a better app? Is there a way to do it without an app?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wanted to know how to set up push email, on 3GS I had to do it through the exchange route to get push email with gmail. Is it the same now or can I do it through the gmail option when setting it up?Will it be better?I am asking because there used to be a delay with exchange so will this be better or will it not have push?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have aCurve 8330. ! have used Outlook Web Access (now App) to get e-mail from my job for more than a year. Last week I got a message that I needed to confirm my password. I was unable to get the system/phone to accept it so I deleted the e-mail address & attempted to set it up from scratch. I have spent 2 hours trying. My employer's IT dept spent an hour and my local cell carrier guru also tried for about an hour. We get a message that there is an error in the data submitted. I know my Web App info works 'cause I can sign on from several computers with no problem. I called tech help at Blackberry where the nice overseas guy told me "you can't use OWA, only normal e-mail addresses". (Since the set up screens still have the forms to do it, I assume he was wrong.) I have had 2 other e-mail addresses push to the phone for over a year which have no problem. (not going through OWA). We have deleted those 2 & reset with no problem. The problem seems to only be related to Web App.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo, after a few minutes (10-20 mins) when someone sends me a message on whatsapp or bbm or Facebook messenger etc... the phone doesn't receive the message until i enter the app (whatsapp, bbm, fbmessenger etc).
I don't know what to do. I don'w know if this is a problem after I made an update last week or smth.
Is there a one button solution to turn off ALL the battery sucking push notifications?

View 24 Replies View RelatedCleared data for google service framework trying to force the lollipop update on my T-Mobile g3 and also force stopped it. Now I'm not receiving push notifications.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought a LG G3 a few weeks ago and the same day I upgraded to Lollipop via factory reset before updating, then adding my accounts. I haven't had push email on any account since day one and I've read several threads in where it's claimed there's push email on Lollipop, or at least the gmail app. The lack of complaints about this tells me either it works properly for almost everyone, or it doesn't and few people care. I'd like proper push email, like I have on my Z10, but I can't seem to figure out where the problem lies. When I send myself test email the Z10 sounds off as my finger lifts off my mouse button, and then my desktop as soon as my Z10 goes quiet. Sometime in the next hour my G3 receives the same mail. It's the same result whether on WiFi or carrier connection.
View 14 Replies View RelatedSo ever since I got my i4 my push notifications do not come in on WWF at all. Before when I updated to iOS4 on my 3G I would get them all the time. But on my i4, I do not. Is anyone else having the same problems?
I'm using the free app and never had this problem til I used this game on my i4.
I'm using this blackberry without a data plan primarily for text and talk and do not need a data plan ( i know this means i can't use most apps.. i might get one later though ) but in the mean time how do i get gmail push notifications? right now i use the Browser to access my email, but is there an app i can use so i don't have to?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI noticed that the push notifications weren't working after I downloaded the app 'Draw Something'. Not blaming the app at all, btw. My wife gets notified when it's her turn and I don't. My wife also has a 4S and we have notifications set the same. So I upgraded to 5.1 last night and still no push notifications. I set espn and tvguide to give me a lot of notifications and have not got anything. I downloaded ipusher app and it's not working either. I'll assume the app is working and my phone isn't.
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, No push notifications
When I receive for example an iMessage, I now receive them on both devices. Very nice and useful off course. The iPad seems to get them always immediately, while on my iPhone, sometimes get them a few minutes later, or when I open my device. It can be quiet annoying while having a conversation on my iPhone off course. Can I programm it in that way that I always receive push's on both devices? It differs per moment as well, as sometimes they receive it immediately. As soon as reading it on one, it dissappears on the other, but sometimes, that is delayed as well. It seems like that sometimes the iPhone is "not connected" to Wi-Fi. Is this a battery saving method, and can I switch this on and off somewhere? I would like to receive the notifications immediately on both devices. This is not only for iMessage, but also whatsapp or facebook can be laggy on the iPhone.
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, iPad works perfectly
When I push the button on my iPhone 4, it doesn't always do anything, might require a couple of pushes.
Info:iPhone 4 (8GB), iOS 5.1
Any app no get push notification.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAFAIU Nokia Messaging may or may not be free depending on the operator, which can charge you for the service.
Pretty much like BlackBerry, albeit in that case all data go through their servers.
If all connections go through your provider's APN, how would Nokia know whether you're connected to Nokia Messaging or to some other server? All data exchange simply count towards your internet bundle, regardless if you use it for mail, internet browsing or whatever else you want to do, doesn't it?
My Nokia E72 seems to loose the data connection constantly and I manually need to choose "Connect and Send Receive emails" to download my mails. It has worked previously - ie remained connected and I don't recall if anything has changed.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have installed Nokia messaging on my nokia E72 and I have some problems setting my gmail account to work in push mode.
In particular, I would like that my gprs/umts internet connection doesn't stay always active.
When a new mail arrives to the server, server sends a notification to my E72, and E72 automatically connects to internet to download the new mail but after this, connections still remains active.
Is it possibile to turn off internet connection as soon as nokia messaging finishes to download new mail? I don't want connections remains always active as in blackberries smartphones, is it possibile or what I want is only a dream?
It seems like the hold up on the Verizon OS 5 is all about ptt. There are ptt codes in the latest leak that appears to be Verizon becuase of the fact that there are vz navigator files in it as well.

Should be very soon we see an official Verizon OS. As long as the info in this thread is true, and its looking like it is. Verizon Push To Talk (PTT).
I have gmail setup on my 3GS via Exchange. There is an option to enable push notification on multiple folders + Inbox, but it doss not appear to be working. Each time I go to the Sent or All Mail folders, it only shows the last emails I downloaded the last time I opened the folder. The mail app then takes about 1-3 minutes to d/l the new messages. Is there some trick to enabling push in gmail folders?

View 24 Replies View RelatedI've got MLB At Bat installed on my iPhone 4, and have yet to receive any push notifications for when my selected favorite team start and finish their games (Marlins, if you must know!)
I've reselected the teams in the MLB app, but I've gotta wait until 7 tonight to see if it did the trick.
Also, I'm not even getting push notifications for Facebook or MSNBC anymore either.
Since updating, my iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0 has been intermittently unable to move, send, or delete emails using my existing push gmail setup. If I restart the phone, the email might work for a few min, but shortly after that, it will stop allowing me to move, delete, or send messages (I get an error saying it can't move it, etc.)Any ideas? I guess I'll delete the account from the phone and redo it, but is this some sort or known bug?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI switched over from my blackberry bold 9700 to the iPhone 4 and as much as I love it, I can't stand being without my push e-mail. I have my g-mail setup to push my e-mail which works pretty well, but with my bold 9700 I was using BIS and I was able to get all of my 5 different e-mails pushed to my phone. Is there a service or something I have to sign up for that will instantly push my e-mail to my phone? Right now I set it up so my other e-mail accounts are retrieved by my g-mail account but it takes a while for the g-mail to retrieve the e-mails from my other accounts using POP3 and then it finally pushes them to my phone.
