I am unable to import photo's to BB from my PC. Followed the guide, but when I go to "computer pictures" in the desktop software I get the message "Your media cannot be synchronized .... there isn't enough space to synchronize your media. Select another drive." When did I select a drive? How can it be changed?

When i take a photo on iphone and then sync with iMac, iPhoto will open and ask to import the photo, which is working as it should. But next time I connect up, it asks to import the photo again. Basically is always asks to import the whole camera role every time. Is there a way to stop this? (note: I don't use iCloud, as OS is too old).

View 6 Replies View RelatedEver since I got the Iphone 4S, it's been corrupting my pictures occasionally during import. It's sad, because I usually have it set to delete the image after importing, so the uncorrupted image is lost forever. Below is an example of how the import destroyed a really nice picture of our newborn baby.
I'm running snow leopard, with iphone version 5.1. Originally I was using iphoto to do the import, but I read somewhere that image capture might fix this problem. But the problem still occurs even with image capture. Sometimes there are multiple "color lines" through the picture, although the one below only has one. Also, sometimes the image doesn't just change color across the line. It can also become misaligned, so tweaking the color isn't enough.
I'm not sure about this, but I think the problem may occur more frequently when I have a lot of apps sharing CPU. So I suspect it's a bug related to context switching. I'm not sure whether snow leopard or the iphone is the problem, although I don't remember it occuring with my older iphone 4.
I have noticed the problem tends to occur in batches of consecutive photos, which is why I think it has to do with memory swapping due to concurrent applications.
I have large video files on my BB that I recorded. At first, I had no problem importing them from my BB to my PC. Now, I can only import very small files. Anything over 200MB, an error message comes up saying something about Desktop Manager keeping 200MB free for transfer and can't transfer the videos. I'd really like to get these videos off my phone to keep it from eating up my memory.

After the picture progress bar reaches 100%, I get a message that states the current picture could not be copied. I can then cancel, try again, skip or skip all. How do you correct this? When I set the photo to be picked up as a camera both these programs recognise the photos and show them but when import is hit it fails to copy any over.

One uses BIS and the other uses hosted exchange on Godaddy.I've tried everything I know to get the setting correct with BIS so I resorted to the automatic detection. The program won't even install on my desktop. I get an "We were unable to install the Import Control. Either you said NO to the security dialog or you don't have sufficient rights to install the software". I am an Administrator. Did two different bacups, and I am positive that I did backup of contacts. Also did a bacup of all contacts on my online account at [URL] Did an upgrade of android 1.6 -> 2.1.
I ran restore. Everythinge else is restored, just not one single Name or Number. No contacts. Tried both bacups several times, I get a confirmation that the restore is done. Still nothing.
Hooked it up to my PC, and performed a sync with my page on sonyericsson.com. Nothing. It's always a small disaster to loose all numbers and names. I still have them all, I just can't get my phone to give a ****, it seems.
( Also tried installing the new Backup & Restore (1. Nov), [URL], but it gives me the message "not installed" every time i try. Nothing more. I think maybe it's because I might allready have that program on my phone)

The images shown in "C:Users[my name]Pictures[synch-date]" (the Camera Roll photos) are not as they were edited, however. I suspect that the iPhone "edits" images by applying a layer that manipulates the image without actually editing the file.Â
I have found so far that my best recourse is to import photos to my PC, edit them there in Photoshop (or other software), and then upload the images as I want them edited back to the iPhone. I would prefer to simply edit the pictures once on the iPhone and be able to import the edited files to my PC.

I have all my data, contacts etc saved on my memory card.After the resetting my mobile when i inserted the memory card it took so long to load my data from it but my device is unable to retrieve my contacts from my memory card. its not even giveing me an option to copy or import contacts from my memory card. it is only giving me options of 1) Phone Memory, 2) SIM memory & 3) Service Number Only Before reseting it was giveing me an option of Memory Card.

I'm unable to take a portrait photograph or video on my Razr. If I hold it in portrait mode, the icons don't rotate like they do on the Galaxy Nexus, there's no option to set it to portrait mode, and every picture ends up in landscape. Even if I disable Auto Rotate, they're all in landscape. This is a real pain in the butt because sometimes I need more detail on something that is taller than it is wide but I have to settle for the extra space of landscape. The Galaxy Nexus and Droid Bionic allow portrait photographs and video, why doesn't the Razr.

I currently missing photo and music, not really missing them, If I open ES File Explorer and open .sdcard/DCIM/Camera all my photo are there. They just don't show up in Gallery. I can open them from ES File Explorer fine. Same with Music, I can open /sdcard/Music and all my music is there but when I open the Music App, it reports"You don't have any music in your library." I can open any song from the file explorer.Also I can no longer see any files in storage when I connect my Xoom via USB to my Win7 pc, the internal storage shows up but is empty.
