BB Curve :: Technical Support For It From A Live Person?
Oct 27, 2011
Is there anywhere to get technical support for blackberry from a live person? It is so frustrating trying to get help online. Most of the responses are so generic and the emails I sent to the support link provided on the phone go unanswered.
I can't find the place on the blackberry website where one can chat live with tech support. Is there such a place? If so - please help me with a link if you can! OK this is not getting any replies. Perhaps I should do more of a poll-type thing. Do you think there is a live chat tech support function on [URL]?OK. Fourth time editing the message. It seems to me that - statistically speaking - the odds of getting a reply after 40 minutes and 26 views are quite small. There's someone on the list with over 4 000 views and 6 replies. Thx anyway to the 26 who viewed.
I bought my gf a BOLD 9700. I live in Singapore and bought an officially unlocked BB. I ust bought the model only, not with a contract from any carrier. My gf uses her simcard but doesnt have a data plan. We dont intend to use the email functions. But we do want to have WIFI on my home network. Been already busy for a few days and have seen several sites and seems that a lot of people have problems with this issue.Inside my router I see there is an IP adress assiged to the blackberry and I see the mac adress of the BB. But the blackberry keeps saying Failed to obtain an IP adress.Other laptops and my IPhone connect instantly to this router. And how to contact the blackberry technical support? Or can I return the phone under warranty?Im not so familiar with blackberry's.I also tried it with my own simcard which does have a data plan with it. But the same problem exists.Already reset the router a thousand times and removed battery from the BB a dozen times..on the BB screen I also see the WiFi is connected to my home network router but the wifi logo doesnt light up.
I got this bb storm 9520. The only problem is I can't view live ip camera on this phone. I can open the camera interface but the video is not showing. It says "you may not have the right system requirement to support java software" and also "we encounter issue while trying to install active x automatically as a result you received error". How to install it properly.
I need to know if anyone knows if I get another phone and change just the ckt board in the bottom unit will the data be (hopefully - board appears undamaged) available? The screen - upper unit - was destroyed. Alternatively, is there any way to bring up the ckt board and d/l everything? Phone book, pics and messages have been available before via bluetooth/samsung software.
IS there one?...the standard tones given are frankly pathetic...why hasn't this been addressed by a software update?
I don't want to jail break my phone, I will end up breaking it and god knows what happens when you connect to iTunes and recieve updates of the OS to a jailbroken phone.
You would have thought the Apple iTunes store may have made a money spinner of alternative text tones.
I don't care about the new phone and 'multi-tasking', if I do more than one thing at a time I just get confused anyway but if the new iPhone doesn't address text tone this issue I may not buy it.
with my Blackberry Curve 9360.I am unble to hear the person on the other end of the line. However, i can hear them through my earpiece and speaker mode.
I have a BB 8900 curve which has not been used before. The carrier Vodafone has enabled my BB service and I should have full data. However, the device is showing gprs and not GPRS and the service books are not downloading as a result.
When I put my SIm in a mates BB 8900 it does show as full GPRS.is there a setting in the device that allows partial data service that I need to change to give me full data, or do I just have another faulty 8900 device?
I've got a curve 8900 and the last few days my Windows Live Messenger hasn't been working....anyone got any ideas??It lets me sign in and refresh the contact list to see who's online but then it doesn't deliever any of messages to my friends who are online. All other apps/internet working fine.I have recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger 2.5.85.
Since three days i can not add new person to m adress book.It started after failure of Windows Live Messenger update. After new update has dropped into my box i tried to get updated version.ut the screen has frozen. After get the battery out from the machine to turn to the normal my problem has started.I applied to Vodafone technical desk. But they said this is Blackberry general problem and known as yours.Do you have any solutions for that? I can not add anybody into my adressbook. And this makes me trouble when i try to find the person who i met new.
I use Windows Live Mail for all my email addresses. When I delete an email from Blackberry this does not delete in Live Mail. How can I set things up so that when I delete an email from Blackberry it deletes the email from Live Mail too?I would like to keep calendar on my Blackberry that synchs with a calendar on my laptop.so information is viewed the same on both Blackberry and laptop and updates both ways regardless of where the information is inputted.
Is there a way for to send a bunch of SMS messages 'conversation' that are in the same thread to another person?I want to send the conversation to another person but it only seems to let me send one SMS at a time.
I have downloaded and installed windows live messenger to a curve 8520. When I try to log onto it I get a message saying 'Service not enabled for this handset'.
I downloaded Windows Live Messanger through App World and it said that it was succesfully installed. However there is no icon for it in my downloads or applications and i don't know how to access it, other downloads are working just not WLM.
i set up emails on my Blackberry Curve 8900 about a month ago (via BIS) and they've been working fine since then - until yesterday. Yesterday I got an email saying: "Action required:update password!" - there was then some info asking me to go to the BIS page and validate my password before I can receive emails again.
I keep doing this and it keeps saying it has been validated (I am absolutely certain it is the correct password) - but then 1 minute later I get the same email again saying I ned to validate my password. I click the email icon in setup and it's gone back to needing to be validate again?!
It's my work email address accessed via BIS. Has anyone got any ideas?? (I've treied searching on here but the posts I've found are all talking about a problem with Hotmail / Live / MSN - which this isn't about)
I have a BB Curve 8900 on Orange in the UK. I am trying to access live football on the BBC website but it states that Java Script needs to be activated.
the title says it all, iv noticed the hotmail icon is a real pain when it replaces my theme custom icon, it looks really out of place how can i get the default email folder icon back?
Is it possible to synchronise contacts, calendar and emails from Windows Live Mail with 9320?If not, do I end up needing to use something like Microsoft Outlook 2010?
considering that i've seen these support videos on Internet, it is silly that they don't work in the support app. should be a trivial thing for se to fix.
I bought a BlackBerry 8520, second hand for my daughter Since that day, I can't have BBM, Email and Appworld on the phone.I check with my provider, I have all the BlackBerry's options. The OS is V5.I've sign in to the BlackBerry ID Services.
i was told by orange that my curve 8520 doesn't support gps so i can check in where i am on facebook.i have a friend with the same model and he has it on his handset?
