Nov 14, 2012In my 9380 my sms are getting automatically deleted after a month or two... I've changed msg validity setting to max but there is no option to make it forever..

I've had my 9700 for 3 months now and was wondering if it would be safe to pull the battery out of the 9700 and leave it in the house. Then re-insert the battery and begin normal usage as soon as I get back from the trip? Jan 10, 2010I work out in the middle of nowhere quite often, where phone signal is either very weak, or non-existent. (I am with Orange BTW). The problem seems to be that when I have been out of signal range for a while, (shortest period so far about 30 mins), and I come back into range, my BB doesn't automatically pick the signal up. The only way that I know to re-gain the signal, is to turn the phone off (red button not battery re-boot!) and back on again. The phone then finds the signal and everything is normal again......that is until I go out of range again! Is there a shortcut to re capture the mobile signal rather than off/on?

This imap account won't sync. If I delete and reinstall it works for a while and then the problem comes up again.

Jun 4, 2012My 9380 version 7.1os is unable to get 3gIt is not my carrier or sim card because I am on a data plan and my sim works well in a torch.I am getting 3g speeds. However I am still seeing edge on the top right screen. Even if I perform a manual search for available networks I am only finding 2g. But when I put my sim in a bb torch os6 and do the search I will get both 2g and 3g.Because of this I cannot use the mobile hotspot option as well.I have tried almost everything my carrier has told me to do.

Apr 20, 2012I am getting a error on my Curve stating "could not open the camera, close other aplications and try opening the camera again" it was still working a couple of days ago. I only noticed a problem after upgrading Wikitude to the latest. Now my camera will not work at all. I reloaded the OS and deleted Wikitude and I am not sure wether it is Wikitude. I do know that some have hade problems loading the ap and it came up with the same type of error. I did not drop my phone and the camera was working till that upgrade.

Jun 25, 2012My Blackberry Curve 9380's display screen won't turn on! The flashing red light still appears so I guess I am still able to receive texts. I can also receive calls; my ring tone goes off but I cannot answer!I have to unlock it and I can't do anything on a touch screen that's virtually useless now. I've done so many battery pulls yet it doesn't work.
I did drop it but it wasn't very hard. My bb fell when it was in my rubber case and the fall was around knee length (I am very short only 5'0). My friend said its possible that the backlight broke. If it is true, how much does it cost to repair it? My warranty expired a few weeks ago.
My friend also said there could be something else wrong with it. Like a downloaded an app that had a corrupt file (this has happened to me before and the phrase "Uncaught exception java.lang.error" kept popping up every time I did a battery pull) or a programming error. I tried Jl_Cmder and I've done reset to factory. I've even tried to wipe everything completely. "The device will reboot to a white screen with a '507' error" this didn't happen..It did reboot but nothing can be seen.

Before I decided to buy this model, I considered the battery life because I would always be out most of the day , the reviews were great actually better than the reviews for my old 8520 but I was surprised to find out that my battery does not even last more than 12 hours. The battery would also be warm every once in a while.
