I have a Curve 8520. All of a sudden, I'm not getting reminders for tasks and appointments any more. I've pulled the battery (which I do regularly anyway) and turned it on and off, but no joy.

I started having this problem randomly 2 months ago, and when I put appointments on my calendar, they do not notify me, I checked all my settings and profiles and everything is set up, I don't even get the pop up message for the reminder. I even did a backup, clean install of the blackberry with the newest software, restored my messages and contacts etc, and the same issue still occurs...

I installed the latest build of the android lollipop developer preview on my nexus 5. All works fine (exept for wel know problems with original mail app and mx player). My problem is that I can't create ANY reminders. If say "remind me in 10 min" i get the popup, but i'm not able to activate it ("V" stays grayed out)...
Even if I go manually via the hamburger menu in google now, "reminders" is grayed out and I can't click it . All works fine for the rest (except for every reboot i need to set the primary default language to English - US every time for google now to work at all)....
I get reminders for holidays and events on my BB Curve 8520 that I didn't set up or ask for. I get anywhere from a couple of hundred notifications to 2, 3, 4 thousand reminders for the same event! how to switch this off?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI wanted to test out the Facebook App that was pre-installed in my Blackberry, but did not find it interesting. I now have reminders all over my calendars of facebook events and birthday and all sorts of stuff. I've tried removing the preferences to sync my blackberry and facebook together but that only stopped the new events and such from attaching itself to the calendar. The old reminders are still in my calendar and I have no idea on how to remove them.

I've worked out you can set the reminder alarm to go off in advance of the birthday so that it acts as a reminder (to get a present!)

How do you get Siri to set reminders? It always tells me that it can not create the reminder. I have tried many times with no luck.

I went into Settings>iCloud and switched OFF my Reminders app. When I got the little pop-up window I clicked on "Delete from My iPhone"

Had my torch for a week now, all works great except I get no reminders at all from the calendar for appointments, no pop up on screen, no tones or vibrates. If I set a reminder alarm then that works, so does the alarm clock in the morning and all of my message alerts, phone, text, e-mail etc, but nothing from the calendar appointments.

I had a daily recurring event with reminder notifications in my iPhone calendar. I deleted the event and all future events but I still get reminders. I even keep deleting the event when the reminder pops up but it doesn't help. When I look at the the calendar the event is not there so i don't know what to do. Anyone else run into this problem?
