I have a Blackberry Curve that was recently stolen from me. It had not been activated as it was a gift. I have the IMEI number, is it possible to get the PIN in anyway? I've tried contacting the carrier the phone was from, but they were of no use.
I just purchased my Curve yesterday and I'm locked out of my BlackBerry today,During the update yesterday I backed up my BlackBerry on my computer.I entered a familiar password ... when I tried to open it this morning it kept rejecting my entry.Even the computer asked for my password to no avail.
For some reason my E72-2 ver. 22.007 RM-529 just started not matching names to numbers in the call list. I have restarted multible times and it still wont match them.Just to add when someone calls its now not matching and not showing thier name ethier just shows thier number. And this just started, about 5hr ago It worked (I got a cal it said and displayed it name and now it dosn't, and this hasn't happened before.
I had a Blackberry Curve 9380 Mobile, I lost it yesterday. I am unable to get the IMEI Number as I dont have the Invoice copies with me. I have my Blackberry Pin registered with Blackberry Protect. With this Is there any possible to get my IMEI number of my handset.
I bought a used blackberry (9300 curve). I am trying to get the IMEI # off the phone so I can unlock it. Every time I punch in #06# it does not give me the number. Just says "emergency calls only" So frustrated...really want to get my phone up and running as i put old one through washing machine last week!
How can I stop all incoming calls from being prefixed by the USA "1-" code?
Because of this they are not showing up the callers Name by matching the phone number with the "1-" to the one without the "1-" stored in the address book database.
I dont think the right answer is to save all contacts with a "1-" in the address book, since you dont dial that way....
I had to get a new bb becuase my old one messed up. With my previous plan I did not need the AT&T bb datapackage... I don't need one now. However, with the new phone, AT&T automatically added the BB dataplan. I cant get rid of it, and i dont want to get rid of the phone.
Heres what I did: I put my sim in another non-BB phone, call AT&T and deleted my dataplan. It worked. I then put my sim back into my BB, and a few mins later got a txt msg saying AT&T has added the BB data onto my phone. aaahhh! So, how do I change the IMEI number to my old non-BB phone, so that AT&T can't tell i'm using my BB?
I've had my blackberry since August of 2010. I learnt as much as I could and there was still much more to learn! About a month ago my phone was stolen from my home. The police are working on tracking it but....IT'S BEEN A MONTH!
Recently I was made to understand that there is a number under the battery that can be used to track the black berry even if it is off. My question is: since I no longer have the BB in my possession is there a way for me to get that number?
After having gone a couple of months withs with Gingerbread without any problems to report I started experiencing a strange thing with incoming calls, texts, emails, etc.For incoming calls, the number displayed is the correct number but the screen pulls an incorrect name from my contacts list and displays a picture (taken from either LinkedIn or Facebook profiles) that is from a third, different contact. So the number is for Contact A and is the actual caller, the name that is displayed is contact B and the photo is contact c.If I go to make an outgoing call, the same thing in the inverse occurs.I choose Contact A and it dials contact A but displays it is calling contact B.This has caused me to have to double & triple check when I am making calls to ensure that it is calling the right contacts.
A similar thing happens for texts, incoming texts display the correct number from which they are originating but display that they are from a different contact name. When I go to send a text and enter a number it indicates that it is sending it to the correct phone number but with a different name assocaited with that number. Finally, something similar is happening in email messaging. If I hit reply, while the actual email address is correct the contact name that it lists is incorrect.
my z3 glass is broken.. i can't type any digit.. so i can unlock it.. can't can't my imei number to fill the formulaire to use sony reparation service..the soft pc compagnion dosen't detect it because it's lock (via usb)
I bought a BB 8320 on ebay and I want to know if its able to contract the data plan. I used it to make calls and send SMS but never used the data plan and I want to sell it. I would like to know it in order not to defraud the buyer.
I just activated a phone on Straight Talk. Voice works but when I did the APN settings, I'm still getting no data. The lock screen displays "Invalid IMEI" which goes away when I type in my pin. This is a 920F (International Unlocked). Is it even possible to have a bad IMEI on a new phone ?
One side question, I bought this on eBay listed as new. It looks new but the metal rim has a section that's got a bit of shine in the otherwise matte finish. It made me suspicious it wasn't as new as the seller said. The screen cover appeared to be placed back on the phone. I know I wouldn't be the first person to buy a "New" phone which was not. Were your S6's uniform in the texture of the metal edge ?
I had a problem with the HTC Hero (T-mobile G2) touch screen and sent it back to T-mobile to be serviced. ( Problem: The touch screen would lock and no matter where I tapped on the screen, it would only react at the bottom)I have sent my HTC Hero to be serviced through T-Mobile. They gave me a website that I could check the status of the service and it is now "Dispatched".There is not much information on what they did to the handset - or what the actual problem was, but I can see that they have assigned a different IMEI number. The serial number is the same though. Can anybody deduce what might have happened to my handset?I assume, since the serial number is the same, I will not be getting a new phone. What are the possible scenarios for changing an IMEI on a handset?
- Firmware update? ( I had the latest firmware from T-mobile installed) - new PCB? - new touch screen?
Is it thruth that BB bold with 359 are not supported on videotron carrier but the 357 and 358 are? What is the difference between 359 and 358 or 357 to not be supported.
Recently i recovered my blackberry which was reported lost to my carrier (o2 uk) I rang them back up to unblock it and they said with blackberrys i have to allow up to 90 days before it is unblocked again. Has this ever been the case with anyone else and does it usually take this long?
I got my phone as a birthday gift. It came unlocked. I have since been able to use it with no issues. To find the IMEI, I have tried three options, to no avail.
Option 1 - Type in *#06# : When I do this, my phone returns the message "Unsupported service"
Option 2 - Options>Device>Device and Status Information : When I go to this page on my phone, the details displayed are as follows: Network Information Signal: .....dbm Pin: .........
[code]...
Option 3 - Check sticker underneath battery: There's a large barcode, and directly underneath it, a 15digit number which reads like so: 12RMX3*******54. As far as I know, the IMEI contains only digitis, so this cannot be it.
Next options are: -PRD -IC -FCC ID -BT MAC -Patents
