I am not first user of blackberry curve set. I bought it and its used mobile. Its email id is set and I don't know how to change its email id with my own email id? First user set it as blackberry id and now I wish to change it to mine own email blackberry id.
I have a new e mail and can not change it on my Blackberry 9800. When I enter my user name and password I get the same message "Your device encountered a problem with this applications server. Seleck OK and repeat the action to try again." Have been trying this for many weeks now.
I recently received a message that I need to confirm my password to further have my private emails forwarded onto the blackberry. now the blackberry won't connect to the server and i can't change the settings/ confirm password.
I just bought an already used BlackBerry Curve 5530, and the ex-owner already had his email address in it. I'm trying to change it to my email address, but it wont let me. When i go on the Email Setup icon, it tells me :
''Your email account is already activated for enterprise use.''
When I enter the setup tab, I then click on email settings nothing happens.I need to change my gmail settings as I am not happy that my contacts and calendar are being synched with google given their new privacy statements. how I can change these settings.
I got a device update from Verizon that wiped out my email accounts. I couldn't add the blackberry email address associated with my device back to the phone because I don't know the password. I created a new blackberry email address, but when I try to get updated in AppWorld it still wants the password from the old address. When I request a password reset it sends the information to the old email address which I can't access because I don't know the password.
Does anyone know how to change the email address associated with my device OR how to have the password reset info sent to a different email address?
I go into the setup> email account and when I click on it, the message just says "your device had a problem connecting to the server" I have connected to my wifi and also I have got 3G signal
My daughter set up her Blackberry ID with a slight mistake in the email address. This has only just caused a problem as her screen froze so she removed the battery and had to re-input the password and cannot remember it. Of course the password reminders are going to an invalid email.I have set up a correct Blackberry id for her now (on the computer) but cannot change it on her phone as the original password for the incorrect email is required!I've tried to google and I'm sure it's simple but have a distraught daughter who cannot BBM her friends!Is the only solution to wipe it?
I had to recover my gmail account's password in order to get to my emails.The problem is: it is also linked with my BIS account, i want to change my password now aswell on my blackberry device. i tried by doing so by taking it off and setting it up again, but my bis account withkeeps me to change it, there is no common setting in changing the old password on my blackberry device. its a blackberry curve 8520, operating system ver 5.

I read a message on the forum saying that my email address password needs to be updated on my BIS account, because I just changed the password toda and BIS can no longer access it.

When I purchased my Curve 3g about a year ago, I setup my email account like normal and it worked fine over this past year. Recently I had to change my email password on the computer, and it caused my blackberry to no longer be able to send or receive my emails. So I went back into setup and went to the email set up so that I could change my password on my phone, but when I click the "Email Accounts" button in set up, it doesn't go anywhere. All of the other setup icons work except the email one.
I have bought a secondhand bb and when i went to use app world her email addy is installed for this 'smartphone' and keeps asking for her password, which she wont give to me, how do i replace her email with mine? i have tried just deleting hers and trying to over ride with mine but that doesnt work.

How to use the same folder email on my blackberry? When I change my mobile network and register again my bb and setup email again with my old email, my bb will make a new folder to store my email. How can I change my bb setting still using my old email folder?
changed to a contract curve 8520 all working okay on day 1, I had my old PAYG number ported onto this phone now my browser does not work, no email I think more . Customer care say its a problem on BB after number ported they are waiting for a fix can anyone help! if not phone going back
I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.
