I have a bbcurve 9300 I got it a yr ago and now all of a sudden it turns off even if the battery is charged..It is really **bleep** me off..I constantly have to keep it on the charger just to text or call.

Over the last 3 days ive noticed my phone using a lot more battery than it usually does, i can usually get upto 2 days battery usage when its used frequently, but it has been getting less than a day over the last 3 days.
I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
I turned my phone off and when I tried to turn it on the apple logo appeared on the screen but then it shut down. I have tried turning it on several times but the same thing happens over and over again. I plugged it in to my computer and also tried charging it but nothing works!

I've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.

I have a JB iPhone 3G 3.1.2 OS. Everything has been fine until now. I had SBRotator on and all of a sudden it started to go really slow and in the end not respond. So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?

I did not think much of it until it started happening very frequently. When I say frequently, I mean every 10 minutes. Quite frustrating for a phone that I use for work. I took it to a local service department but they did not know what was going on so they just swiped the software and reloaded it. This resolved the issue for about 24 hours and then it has started again. It was sporadic again with about a day between each one but it has since become a very frequent issue again. It is happening about 5 times a day that I know of.I am currently running Version 4.6.1.313.

I heard there is an outage in the BIS but even if am texting, it suddenly turns off and then turn back on. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 9300 which I bought in January this year and from practically the first day I turned it on I've had problems with it. The phone freezes a lot and on a regular basis the phone just turns off and resist itself. I can be texting and look away and look back and the phoneheads just reset and it does this a couple of times day. Less than a month ago it was sent for a repair with Tesco (who I bought the phone from) and they sent it back saying that they couldn't find a fault on it. The phone still does the same and I've phoned tesco again and they have said that the only thing they can do is to send the phone to the repair shop again to be checked. What do you suggest I do as I need a phone that works and cannot just keep sending it to be repaired to be told there isn't a fault over and over again.

View 13 Replies View RelatedFor the past few weeks, everytime I get on the internet or listen to the media player, the screen turns white and then shuts down the phone. Once this happens, I can't turn the phone back on. I've tried taking the battery out and replacing it and it still does not turn back on. It only turns back on once it's been plugged into a charger and then shows that the battery is dead. I don't carry a charger in my back pocket and can't always plug one in if I do carry it. This is very frustrating!! 80% of the time, the battery is fully charged when the screen goes out so it's draining the battery when it does this. Is anyone else having this problem?

I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application.In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.

Well, strangely when I walk into his room with the phone in my pocket or in my hand, the TV turns on? I believe it's when it is sending data back and forth, b/c it only seems to happen then. It only turns on that TV, the others in the house don't respond at all. My 4yr old gets a kick out of it.

So, I'm pretty sure my phone is fried - thanks to the wireless software update that my phone told me to download yesterday from Blackberry.Little update icon pops up on the screen telling me that there's a software upgrade of high importance so I tell it to download over the air. About half an hour later, my phone starts flashing and comes up with a quick screen that says "rolling back java" with a status bar that stays at 99% and then power cycles and does the same thing. I had to take the battery out - it's power cycling every minute at least. It won't do anything else, and my blackberry desktop software doesn't recognize it. I left the battery out overnight so the power cycling didn't drain the battery and as soon as I put the battery back in, it just goes back to its little java msg and power cycling.Any ideas? I will be taking it in to Telus later today. I'm assuming that it will have to be sent away and re-flashed and I will have lost everything on it.

However,Things I have tried so far: I have used the desktop software's upgrade function to upgrade but every time I get the message that, there is no upgrade available. I also downloaded my carrier (MTN - South Africa) specific software the "9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448" file and installed it onto my computer. I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've a 9300 on T-Mobile UK with BB Worldwide booster, which I thought was for email. At the top right is "3G BB (icon)". I think the BB refers to the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)..I'm in France and have used by BB to connect to the internet directly and also using it as a 3G modem via Desktop Software to my netbook. After downloading several MBs of data, I am relieved to find that although all the MBs of data appear on my account, using Orange france, there is not a single charge for the data. I am assuming that using the BIS also includes www data as well as email.
There are also some BlackBerry.net entries - which I assume are for the GPS maps etc.
I bought a blackberry curve 9300 4 days ago and today it fully ran out of charge. I put it on charge and now it won't charge or switch on. If I take the battery out and put it back in and then put it on charge, a red light comes on for about 10-15 seconds and then nothing else happens. Ive only had it 4 days and this has never happened before.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy b.b 9300 has been switching off on its own for the past week and then reloading. today, it did it again, got half way across and then the screen turned white. it has now gone into squared off bits with a black splodge with green edging around the splodge. what is it and how will the shop react to me taking it back. it does look like it has been dropped but, i know it hasnt. It this a regular problem with the 9300's?
