I'm looking for an app (preferably free) that will allow me to print documents/pictures/emails directly from my blackberry over wifi to the network printer in my house. I tried Cortado Workplace but couldn't get it to work.
When i am at home my N900 uses my home WiFi to connect to the internet, the same way my lap top does, i also have a printer connected to the network via Ethernet. Why is my laptop able to send doc's to the print but my N900 is not able to?

I have one of the printers on the supported list (the MP560) and it is on my network, but the app can't find it. I've searched everywhere, but I can't find any information on how to get it working.Has anyone tried this app? How did you get it to recognize your printer?

I have a LAN, with a networked printer server. This printer is set up on my Linux (Ubuntu) PCs with the CUPS printer server, and is also shared using the windows smb (Samba) protocol. I also have a wireless access point/router and can access the printer that way too.
Motoprint sees my printer, but it says that I need to use Motoprint Host to print to it. Motoprint host is a Windows program, and not useable for those not running Windows. I have a Xoom WiFi, USA
If i leave my phone unplugged overnight it will drop at least down 20 or 30 percent. The only apps that I have opened that possibly check the internet are facebook & my weather network app. I have the weather app set to check every hour. So how could it drop so fast? I also have wifi turned on but does that kill it that quickly?

my BB used to connect to my wireless network but for some odd reason it doesnt anymore: it recognizes the network but cannot connect to the internet. On the other hand, it connects to any other network: ive successfully connected to many friends wireless and many restaurants' wireless without any problem. Its worth mentioning that my BB used to connect fine with my homes wireless and i just woke up one day to find that it isnt working anymore (the wifi sign remains gray, in the "wifi connections" there is a connection and theres a white line in the black box instead of a tick.Is there any way to fix this?
View 5 Replies View Relatedi just got my blackberry a few days back on a plan with vigin media with unlimited internet it was working fine until a few days back where whenever i clicked the browser it would say "there is insufficient network coverage to process your request. please try again." i do not understand why this is happening as it was working a few days back i have tried a few battery pulls but it has still not worked for me. I have even switched my phone on and off and turned all connections of and restored them. I really do not know what to do as i can know longer browse the web or recieve emails. In the top right corner it says "gprs" and even when i have full bars the connection does not work. I have called customer services and they have failed to help me so far any help appreciated..

Recently I notice, every time I leave my office or area with wifi, my network coverage doesn't change to EDGE automatically. Sometimes I get edge, sometimes nothing at all (either "X" or OFF). I've to turn my BB off for few seconds, turn it back on, then I get EDGE. Does anybody know why this happens?

I need to restart the BB or Router or both and then it reconnects and can browse again. What could be causing this ?I am unable to add or be added to other BB's in terms of using the IM. Contacts that I am trying to add remain in pending (waiting for authorization). Please ensure your device has an active wifi connection and try again'. Why is this? Also, when i try to update to 5.0 it says I need a data package but it worked on my old phone. And because of this I can't download the app world. The signal goes to SOS a lot as well but I think my house blocks the signal. Currently it says 'gprs' with 2 bars beside it.
