I have a 8330 and got some Java error. I cannot access Options and my PC wont recognize it anymore. It works fine other then the java errors.How can I wipe this back to an older OS. Or do an OS upgrade with out access to my options or PC?

I tried to wipe handheld and when I did the wipe the apps were not wiped, I saw a post about dialing ##000000 and some setting I can do to wipe the apps, but no clear discreption. Anyone have any ideas on wipeing this apps not one by one so I can sell this phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two Blackberry 8330's here. One is a 8330 and the other is a 8330m. The 8330m receives MMS pictures embedded and the 8330 receives an SMS with a link to look at the picture online.I know this isn't new but I haven't been able to find any solution to this if there even is one.
One thing I found is that somewhere it was said that the two phones receive different types of Service books depending on the model.Now, maybe this is a stupid question but I am asking it anyways .Can I somehow copy the MMS service book from the 8330m and put in on my older 8330 ? If it's possible, will this fix the MMS as an SMS link problem ?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the blackberry desktop manager to my computer.. and connected my blackberry 8330. i went to the application loader to put more apps on, checked all of them and downloaded them to my bb, but i didnt know that it was gonna delete the ones i had there. So now i dont have the internet browser.. how can i get it back ? I already tried: Option> Advanced opotion> host routing table> register now; and it say "registration message sent!" and nothing happens. i dont have blackberry maps either.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently updated to ios 5.1, and after about 10-40 seconds after unlocking my phone it stops to see my finger touches. the buttons work but not the touch screen. and this also hapens sometimes when I go to unlock the screen. so I have to lock the screen and try to unlock it to use the phone for about 30 seconds and then have it do the same thing making me lock it and unlock it again. I'm starting to think it is the ios 5.1 not liking my phone. I have a 3gs 16 gig. My screen was cracked and I had it replaced along with the digitizer, and when I got it back I did a restore and thats when it added the ios 5.1. So I was wondering if I can go back to an older ios and how to do that.

After I turn it back on i get the symbol in the top right that says "off" which according to the starting guide book says "Your connection to the wireless network is turned off" The only way i can fix this is pulling the battery. Is there a way to get back on after my phone is charged besides pulling the battery??

The technician at the iStore said that he suspects a bug in my back-up file and that I need a clean restore and bring over the apps 1 by 1 without doing a restore from back-up.
He then restored my phone and deleted all my apps. He then backed up this "clean" iphone, and in the process replaced my back-up file with all my app data. When he tried to sync the apps with stored data on them, he discovered that this is not possible. The apps doesn't automatically bring the data with it.
Please, please help. I'm lost without the data I lost!!!
