BB Curve 8300 :: Memo Pad Icon Disappeared?
Apr 28, 2010Had quite a few issues after upgrading my BB to OS4.5, just when I thought everything is working correctly, the Memo Pad icon disappeared. It is neither hidden nor in any folder, I checked everywhere. The funny thing is, it is still syncing with Lotus Notes, so it's hidden somewhere. Wiped BB clean twice, and it will be back; however, once I installed the third party applications, WorldMate, Google Map, and CallingCardDialer, the Memo Pad disappeared again. I could do a Search and find the memo, but just can't find the icon.

May 5, 2012I recently took some pictures on my iPhone 4s. I thought I had uploaded them using Image Capture to import them to Preview. After the import (seeing the green check mark next to the imported picture). I deleted them on my phone but when I went to look for the pictures later on my computer. I could not find them and cannot re-upload since they were deleted. Is it possible to undelete for a re-upload and to be backup on the a external hard drive?

May 24, 2012I have had a couple of Spam texts come through and deleted them, but now I want to bring them back so I can send on to my provider who offer a system where you forward them on to them and they will check to see if it should be added to blocked numbers on their network.
I can do easily on all other phones because the Deleted Items, or Bin, or whatever it is called is clearly visible under Inbox. But on the iPhone 4S I cannot find the Deleted Items or Bin directory.

Feb 6, 2010One of my kids accidentally erased a ton o'data from my LG LX-9100.I use Bitpim and I understand the filesystem, but I do not know how it manages deleted files - is it similar to a Windows/DOS filesystem where deleted files don't actually get removed but have index/pointer access changes, leaving the file hidden on the 'drive'? My backup is too old (yep - yay for me ) so I'm looking for any advice on how the data source is managed. I'd love to get some pics back and some old texts.

May 3, 2010I just switched from a 8310 to a 8900 and then I downgraded to OS v5.0.0.411 because my standby button would not work. What has happened is that I have lost my memo pad completely.and I have tried everything mentioned by anyone on the various sites.I tried the app loader, but the memo pad application does not show up.I tried showing all apps and looked in each folder, but it is not there,Checked in the applications list on the phone and its not there ,even did the "press the D button" after changing the call from home screen thing.the memo pad is so very important for me and I really want to get it installed asap

Feb 24, 2010Well, I got my blackberry curve 8330 reinstalled today after having everything wipe out a few days ago. Really gotta start from square one again...very annoying...the only thing is I do not have my memo and task app on my screen. Is there a website to download this? When I first got the phone, these apps were there so I'm just surprised that their not there now. I had downloaded bbm and other apps that were not there and that was not a problem.

I tried clicking applications on the desktop software but it just said "A newer version of Blackberry Desktop Software is required to update the software on your device. Please download an updated version and retry." But when I try to download a newer version it says that I have the latest version already! It's a curve 8530 btw.

How do I apply the other option of Add An Email Address? Or does this mean that the phone has been used by someone else (even though it was bought from my service provider "brand new"), or a fault has arisen? What can be done?

Jan 7, 2010I'm a BB newbie but recently received one for work. My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) to my new Curve 8330. I took it to my local Sprint store and they said the contacts can't be transferred because the BB is registered on a BES. The Bluetooth connection won't work either, I assume for the same reason.Am I out of luck or is there some other way I can get the contacts into my BB? I have the contacts stored as individual business card files (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

Jul 12, 2010After trying 3 days to get my BB 8310 Curve connected to my network provider (I do have a data plan and internet plan) Iīm a little bit upset.
The problem: I have all necessary data-plans and also registered my BB on the internet at the Web-Page (BIS?).Ok, my handheld is also recognised and the system doesnīt complain.But: on my handheld I can see only the word "edge" (in small letters - this shows that no data-plan is active as we know, but thatīs not true) and not "EDGE" as it should be.An even better suspicicous issue: I called with the hotline from my provider and he also could see within his database that my handheld is registered and all plans were active.
So I tried following:
I inserted my SIM to another BB and it worked! (not so with my BB)
I also inserted another SIM from my colleague (who also uses a BB) and what happened? Nothing - also no connection.
So I assume that thereīs somehow a bug in my handheld? Has anybody an idea? I would very appreciate it.
By the way, I have the latest OS:

Consisting of:

I've updated my desktop to v5.0, but everytime i click the link on the website it tells me i have the current version. i checked under "about" and i have v. 4.5.0.175. HOW DO I GET V5.0? oh and i have verizon if that matters.
