I just received my new phone from att (faulty trackpad). I used the device switch wizard, and now my meterberry and quicklaunch apps will not work. I keep getting an invalid registration code error. Do I have to repurchase these apps or is there a way to fix this?
I have an Unlocked Wind Blackberry Bold 9700 that is working fine on the Fido netowrk, however curiosity got the best of me and I was messing around with the Host Routing Table.I selected the menu key on one of them and clicked Register Now. Everything is still working fine, but did I mess anything up?
Need some help, recently just bought a Bold 9700 and it was doing fine i.e. browsing, instant message (IM) and emails, but problems surface recently my phone went thru a software upgrade.Problem: device takes longer to register to BIS even though the network sservice status showed "BIS connected via mobile network", I cannot browse, IM or even email... - I tried to register all the numbers in my HRT but not able to recieve the registration email, only after almost 30mins or so... - also i realised i have many items in my HRT containing GPRS SG... and Wi-Fi... is this normal?
When I try to install a jar I always get 907 invalid jar error.I've sent to same game to my 2 friends who have 9700s and they can install and run it.Why is there a problem with my phone? Can someone help me?
software company iSkySoft is giving away free registration codes for their DVD to iPhone converter (Mac or PC). All you have to do is "Like" their facebook page, add your name and email, and click on the GET KEYCODE button, and they will email you a registration code (normally $29). Offer ends in less than 9 days.
I am getthing this error from my Mdeamon 11 account. I have gone through all the fixes that I could find on this site but ierther the do not work or do not apply to MD 11.
I am trying to upgrade my BB Bold 9700 via the blackberry automatic web site. I also have downloaded the 9700 software from TMobile. I have upgraded and restored my BB9700 3x now and each time after upgrading, it prompts that my SIM card is invalid, and thus I do not get any service. I can restore my BB9700 to an older version, then everything works just fine. I don't get why I am unable to upgrade to the newest 5.0 software though?
I've tried the upgrade via the Desktop Software... I've tried the upgrade via the Blackberry Website auto update button... I've tried the upgrade via TMobile's bbugrade site as well...
All tries do the same, my SIM card after the upgrades is "Invalid"...Does anyone have any answers on how to fix this, or do I have to stay with the older versions to keep my phone working.

Made the huge leap from a crappy reg phone to the 9700 a month ago. Its been sweet till all the errors started happeneing. Was hoping someone could help me out.
Here are symptoms as I've noticed them: 1) Wouldn't get audible notifications anymore. Now alerts, no alarms, no rintones,no nothing. Went to my ringtone/alert settings and did "TRY IT" to test a sound. The message I got was something about invalid filename. I got this msg even for sounds native to the bb device! I did a battery pull, then all was good
2) Same issue kept re-occuring and also noticed my battery would be 75% full when I went to bed. Then like RED (5%) when I woke up. The device was also HOT! I battery pull again. Voila! (Until the next time it happens)
3) Press voicedial button. Then it says "scanning contacts, please wait" it gets to 100% and does nothing. Even after an hour.
Anyone know whatts going on? The only thing I changed during this time frame was the SD card (2GB to 8GB). So I switched back to the old card. Issues still exist. I even deleted soduku (buddy told me to try this) but it didn't help.
I got my HTC one yesterady. The build quality of this phone is amazing. But, there are a few things that annoy me with this HTC Sense version - When I check my data usage - on the dial pad I select *328 and then select the result "AT&T View Data Usage [*3282#]". Then it will say USSD code running, after that I get an error message "Connection problem or invalid MMI Code." I also see the message that "...A message will be sent to your phone". I am still receiving the message with my data usage, but the invalid MMI code is annoying.
When I select the phone icon from the dock, it always shows me the "Last Call" I have to scroll to the right to get to the call history - any way to make the call history as default selection?Next one is about the dock icons. It seems like I can only change these icons from if I'm in the App Drawer. If I'm on one of my home screens and move the dock icon to the screen, the icon gets duplicated on the screen and the dock icon remains.
BlinkFeed won't be as bad as it is made to be if you can select which feed you can see at what position. For example, I added my Calendar app to the feed, but to get to that I've to scroll down couple of pages. It would be nice if I can see my Calendar as soon as I log in into my phone.
Why does it keep saying invalid security code? I've done everything that people have posted to do..been trying for 2 hours and it still won't work. What is going on?
I've been trying to download a free game app and it sends me to a billing screen and I keep putting the correct security code and it keep saying invalid why?
For those of you that are having trouble with error code 907 invalid jar not found or invalid jad not found. After following all the help available on the Blackberry site to no avail, the cause of the above error codes was a web site down problem. It turns out that when you try to download the blooover.jar or the blooover.jad files to your phone you get the error message 907 invalid jar or jad file not found due to the [URL].. web site being down. Any other .jar or .jad file that I tried was not a problem.

Recently I have bought blackberry 9700 bold from O2 network in UK and it is blocked. Actually it is a contract mobile so they will not tell me the way how to unlock it until the contract finishes. So can any one tell me can i unlock it in free?
I'd like to have a password certain times and not others. I hate having to put it in everytime but I want to set a password with my lock key so I choose when it's on and when it's off. Is their anyway to do this on a 9700. Thanks for the help
I bought a new blackberry bold 9700 from u.k but when i insert my sim it requested for network MEP code. Pls what can i do. i have been searching for solution. I am in Nigeria and i intend to use it here .
I recently found out that my blackberry is network locked. So I can't use other SIM card besides the the original carrier network which the phone is locked to. How I can get the unlock code for free?
When entering a new contact the software will not allow me to enter a Canadian style alpha-numeric postal code -- in that field the keyboard is set to only use the number pad. Even if i show the contact's country as canada the field does not change.I can, however, enter contacts in Contact Manger in Outlook then synch the address book -- and the postal code shows up properly.
I own a blackberry 9700 since 2 yrs. I tried for the first time to save my device data on my computer by using the BB Desktop Software. To connect my cell phone and my PC, I had to provide a "password". I typed my device password and then my SIM Card pin #, without any luck. An alert message indicated that this was my last chance to enter the right code, and if I don"t, all my device data would be merely erased.
I also cannot access anymore to my cell phone as long as I don't provide with this "mysterious" password. The point is also that I switched off my device. If turn it on, I will have to type the word "blackberry" first, and then the said password will be requested: at this step is it the SIM card PIN # or necessarily the device password?
I didn't use my cell phone for several weeks since that time, so scared to do a wrong thing. When I just tried to reload the battery, I saw the phone doing like a "reset". Then I took off the battery to stop the process. Did I do something wrong? Is it now too late to get back my data?
I've had this iPhone for almost a year now and now more than once it's has messed up on me.I go to try and download a free app but it then asks me for my billing information. I've tried calling apple and they were no help... I know many ppl have this problem I have money in my card the number and info has not been changed I just don't have answers anymore.I tried to see with wifi and it doesn't matter it still asks me for my billing info trying to download or update anything...
