it possible to make long (for example, 2 hours) voice recordings? Even though I have 32GB card in the phone it looks like it will only record 6m18s in the Messaging > More > Other Messages > Audio Message option. It seems a waste to have to use the Video Recorder to get a long message.
View 1 RepliesI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

What I press the headset button short the phone tries to make voice dialing, i.e. it listens to some word said and tries to make a fit from my phonebook and then dial it. The problem is that this button is pressed accidentally and then the phone hears some noises and find a "match" - which is basically picking one of the names stored in random - the result is a phone call to some people that I saved their number years ago leading to embarrassing results. I tried to disable this feature. I couldn't. Any feature of the phone can be turned off except this one!! I don't want voice dialing enabled what can I do!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI work out in the middle of nowhere quite often, where phone signal is either very weak, or non-existent. (I am with Orange BTW). The problem seems to be that when I have been out of signal range for a while, (shortest period so far about 30 mins), and I come back into range, my BB doesn't automatically pick the signal up. The only way that I know to re-gain the signal, is to turn the phone off (red button not battery re-boot!) and back on again. The phone then finds the signal and everything is normal again......that is until I go out of range again! Is there a shortcut to re capture the mobile signal rather than off/on?

I use USB tethering a lot, and sometimes for very long times. When I disconnect the phone, sometimes, my phone becomes unable to receive calls. And even worse, the caller hears the normal calling sound, but my phone just doesn't do anything. So to the caller it seems that I'm just not answering, although the phone isn't notifying me in any way, during the call or after the call! So there is no way telling how many calls I'm missing..
When I try "reset" the mobile network by going to flight mode and back, the phone completely locks, and I have to remove the battery to reboot the phone. This problem won't go away unless I reboot the phone. This happens awfully often, regardless if I click USB tethering off from the phone first before disconnecting it. The most important function is not working and makes the "phone" useless.
know if the Asha 302 auto keylock feature have the option to ask for a security code to unlock?( I am considering the Asha 302 to replace the C3-00 which does not have this option. My old ( low cost) 1616 has this security feature.)
