May 9, 2015I did both Lollipop updates, wiped the cache partition and did a factory reset after each update.. and still things are not quite right.
When I press the recent apps button it shows the recent apps - fine. But after I pull the battery and restart the phone, shouldn't there be nothing showing? Because even after taking the battery out and restarting it shows me a whole bunch...some that I didn't even have open before.
I also notice that the top two things showing in the GSAM Battery Monitor App Usage are Android System (14-18%) and Kernel (Android OS) (12-15%).
I'm having various other issues too.. it tends to get pretty hot. Sometimes I can be typing an email and then suddenly the phone takes me back to my inbox and what I was typing is gone..

Oct 27, 2011I have owned the phone for a week and previously owned an Atrix. I have downloaded several apps and after restarting my phone some have disappeared. This was ongoing for several days and different apps. A google search shows this to be an issue with several models of Motorola phones when moving apps to the SD card or Media area. A temporary work around seems to be to keep the apps in the phones memory. Not sure this is a permanent fix because many people and I want to move their large apps to the SD card as the OS was designed.

Dec 1, 2011I've been running my Desire S for about 6 months now. Just about set up how I like it. nnoyingly it has developed a problem where after playing with any app and pressing the home screen, 9 times out of 10 I get the white background with green HTC logo, then a "Loading..." message over the home screen. When I go back to the app I was *just using*, it acts as if I've opened it for the first time and forgets where I was, what pages I was on, which album I was currently listening to etc.I've tried a few things suggested by the Internet: - Restarting the phone (of course)- Removing all widgets from home screen in case one of them has crashed- Checking I am not regularly running out of ram- Checking I am not dangerously close to running out of iternal storage- Unmounting the SD card- Un-installed any app I've added in the past month- Checking none of the app icons have become duplicated on top of each other (??? hey I was getting desperate)I have also been keeping an eye on the Services tab but to be honest, things seem to restart so often in here that it is hard to identify which one is acting out of the ordinary.
I took this into the t-Mobile shop, explained that I know they are not HTC tech support but that they might have seen the issue before and have a bit of a clue with the phones they sell, explained what I'd done above and they came back with the most unhelpful of default cop-out answers: "Software update."Latest Android version available through t-mobile is 2.3.3 which I am on.TC Sense is at v2.1oes anyone have any ideas? I would really rather sort this out without having to factory reset my phone. Firstly as I had my phone pretty much set up how I wanted it, secondly I have so many apps for which I have no idea how to reliably transfer their saved info (mostly music creation apps with their own save formats/locations) and thirdly so that I know how to resolve this when it inevitably happens again.

Not sure if it's all of them, or just the recently opened ones before the restart.
It scrolls through them so fast that i can't really make note of all of them.
I tried uninstalling some apps,cleaning cache, etc but nothing seems to work.

Jan 6, 2010I have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6.
Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.

Apr 29, 2012Whenever I try to shut off and restart my IPhone it stays on the apple logo start up screen for about 5 minutes then goes to the screen to slide to unlock and freezes so I cannot unlock the phone. Then after about 3 minutes it goes to a black screen with the round waiting symbol on it, then back to the slide to unlock screen again, then black waiting screen, then it reboots itself again and starts the process over. The first time this happened it went through the cycle 3 times. The next time I waited 2 hours and for it to work and finally went into itunes to restore it. I try holding down home and on/off buttons and it reboots it again, but nothing happens. So today my phone just restarted on its own when I was in Safari and after about 20 minutes I took it to the Verizon store to see what they can do about it. First they said to contact Apple support, then a guy held down the home and on/off button and then it unfroze. I told him I already tried that 2 or 3 times today since this problem started, but he didn't care because he was too mad he missed out on a sale to "help" me. So the phone works now, but I know if I just try to restart it again the phone will just go through the rebooting problem all over again. I have not dropped the phone and I thought restoring the phone would fix it if it was a software glitch, so I'm thinking it may be a hardware issue so what should I do if Verizon does not want to help me? I've had it less than a year so I would like to get it fixed before the warrently runs out.

May 15, 2012My iPhone 4S will not power off. At the Home screen I press and hold the power button for x seconds and slide the red arrow button across when the 'slide to power off' message appears. The screen goes black and after a few seconds the white spinner appears and the screen goes back again. After 3-4 seconds -without even touching the phone- the Apple logo appears, followed by the Lock screen and the phone has restarted itself.

Feb 9, 2010I have a JB 3Gs at 3.1.2. Every week or so wifi seems to go a little wonky and I have to restart. Recently however the restarts take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. It just sits on the Apple Logo for that long. Does anyone else have this problem? I used to be able to do it in about 30 seconds. I've been considering restoring but staying at 3.1.2, i figured it would fix the problem. According to Cydia my SHSH is on file, I don't remember doing it but I very well could have. I've been told if you can stay at 3.1.2 for now then do it. Any suggestions?
