IPhone 5s :: Updates All The Photos (camera-roll) In ICloud Or Is It Just Photo Stream When Sync
Aug 21, 2014
updates all the photos (cameraroll) in iCloud or is it just photo stream when you sync? I have 5000 photos in the camera but only 800 in the stream and I would like to save them all. How to do?
I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1. When I take a picture the picture shows up in the ca,era roll, but not in Photo Stream. I do have iCloud and Photo Stream enabled. I can see older photos in Photo Stream. This used to work before. Also, is there a way to add photos from your camera roll to Photo Stream?
I saved images from an email. They are saved in the camera roll and not photo stream. How do you move to photo stream, so they are synced to Apple TV and iPad?
Photos on my wife's iPhone 5S take up a lot of space ( iCloud memory full, can't update phone). It How do I trim it down? I moved a lot of her shots to my macbook, then deleted most of them (except the ones she wanted available) but it didn't seem to work.
Before I switched from a 5 to 5s, my photos has stopped "streaming" to my PC. I would get every other photo and then just random photos would be added to the MyPhotoStream folder on my PC when I was connected to wi-fi... Now that I got my iPhone 5s, I thought the problem would be resolved but now NONE of my new photos in my photostream are syncing with my PC over wi-Fi.  I've already made sure my Camera app is closed, my photostream is ON, etc.
Just "upgraded" my Palm Pre for a iPhone 4 and going crazy trying figure out how to move my pictures out of the photo roll and into different albums. From what I have tried it seems making different albums only tags the photo but doesn't actually move it. Any suggestions as to how I can have pictures in different albums without them staying in the photo roll also? Do I need to use an app to be able to do this?
I got a wee problem with my iphone's camera roll. Every time I take a single photo, it is always saved as two shots for some reason in the Camera roll which is plainly annoying and taking up space in my iPhone too. How do I change the settings to make the camera take one photo and also keep one photo in the Camera roll instead of two?
Can I create a new album and moved the pictures out of the camera roll into it then delete the pictures from camera roll and they still be in the aalbum if so how do I do this?
I use a different photo app for taking pictures (other than the one that came with my ihone 4s).Iis there a way to have photos sent directly to photo stream?
I'm having a problem with some of my photos on my iphone. I imported some pictures from facebook into iphoto on my macbook. Those photos show up in my photostream, just like they should. When I look at those photos on my iphone in the photostream folder, they look just fine. When I save those photos from photostream into an album on my iphone the photo becomes very pixelated. The first picture is the photo after being saved from photostream into an album on my iphone. The second photo, is the same as the first, but exactly as it is viewed in photostream.
I have a couple of iphones that synchronise with my macbook pro via photo stream. My phones are almost full and I want to free up some space by deleting all photos (both Photo Stream and Camera Roll). But I don't want any photos to be deleted from my MacBook.
My HD crashed and now I have a new one, I can get the photos on my iPhone that are on the Camera Roll, but the 599 photos that shows on the iPhone Photo Stream does not appear on my Macbook, neither the photos from the other libraries. Does anyone know how I can get those photos back?
I turned on iCloud when it first launched, then immediately turned it off because using iCloud didn't display my music correctly on my iPhone 4. Instead, most of the album art was missing (including for files that were actually stored on the phone) and it ignored my album sorting. Therefore, I opted not to use the service.
Ever since though, I have these "stream" files left over from when I used iCloud. What I mean is, if I look at the Music list on the iPhone when it is connected to my Mac (so when I hook up the iPhone and click on "Music" from the left nav), I see a bunch of songs greyed out. When I right click on those files, they say "Not Available" for the Kind attribute and "Stream" for the Size attribute. I am unable to play them and all other information on the other tabs, e.g. Song Name, are greyed out. Cleary they are files from iCloud that are still on my phone despite turning off the service.
This wouldn't bother me except for that fact that the songs that have this issue are missing from my phone even though they are checked in iTunes and selected in my Sync settings. So, I am not able to play them on my iPhone. For example, the entire Please Please Me album by The Beatles is missing because all of the songs on that album are these "ghost" stream files. The only way to resolve this is to delete them from my iTunes library and then add them back in. When I do this, the songs finally sync with my iPhone. However, I am looking for another solution because I don't want to have to delete and add 100s of songs and I don't want to lose the meta data, e.g. play count. I've tried unchecking/rechecking the affected songs in iTunes. I've tried unchecking the artist in my Music settings. Nothing has worked. I have a iMac from July 2011 running latest version of Lion. I am also running the latest versions of iTunes and iOS.
My brother has just had a new iPhone 4g. He has got me to set it up for him now Is it something I am doing or is it a fault with the new iPhone ( 4g) , as every time I take a photo using the camera it shows in the bottom left hand corner for a few seconds but then it disrepair's the bottom left hand corner goes blank. So I go look look I click the photo's app no photo's at all nothing the app just closes.Nothing shows where as my friends wouands how three folders Camera Roll / Photo Libary and iPhone WallPapers. If it is a setting that needs turning on in the setting could you please let me know. Now I know there is an update for the phone his is v5.0.1. (9A405) but surly if photos do not show with v5.0.1 they will not show after updating. He is reluctant to update in case it is a fult and has to be sent back to shop for repaire.
After software upgrade I noticed I was unable to email photos from my camera roll, the icon shows at the top right hand side of screen but when you tap to email if changes to Cancel.
I uploaded photos from my previous phone. They were not put int he camera roll album but separate albums. How to delete an album or pictures from a album?
If I add a photo to a new or existing album, and then try to remove the photo from my camera roll it warns me that it will remove the photo everywhere. And indeed if I remove it is is also gone from the album.
Isn't there a way to add a photo to an album and remove it from the camera roll and just have it remain in the "photo library"?
I have three questions: What is the difference between camera roll and photo library? Second: If my storage is full on the iPhone and it tells me that it can't record video but to check iCloud storage and I have 22 Gig available, how do I make use of that? I have Photo Stream off. Should it be turned on? Third: Now the button on the camera will not slide back to the photo taking position but stays on the video position, how do I fix that?
This morning, I noticed that there is a photo that I did not take in my camera roll on my iPhone. The photo is posed, so I know that it was not taken accidentally and my phone did not leave my posession.
Yesterday i had restore my phone due to it crashing. I also couldn't turn it off because my lock button is broken.I was advised to restore it.I used the option keep all media. After the restore it asked me if I wanted to backup from the icloud which was last done at 9:30 that morning! However no pictures or video have gone to the camera roll.
Pictures have appeared on photostream so they are ok. But from my understanding Icloud does backup video but just not onto photostream. how to get the videos back.?
