IPhone 5s :: IOS 8.0.2 / Gets Heat Up And Sometimes Hangs Too
Dec 5, 2014
I have purchased an iphone 5s on Dec 02, 14. It is 16gb phone and after installing and 10gb is free. OS installed on phone is 8.0.2. I have observed that if I use my phone for about 30min its temperature of back side rises. This happens even when phone is charging.Â
I have checked my phone's warranty and details which seems to be correct. So I guess its authenticated.Â
Also at times my phone hangs although I have not installed many apps, only 8 additional apps are installed.Â
My Concerns-Â
1)Is this all because, device may not be authorized?Â
2)Should I check it with the support team at authorized center?Â
i just bought my iphone 4s like 2 weeks ago, on my 1st few days i realised that it heats up when i was turning on my music. But after i put on a casing, i didnt felt it.. only when i take it off, i can really feel the heat... is that a norm or should i get it changed?
I have an 4 Black 16GB model. One of the critical problem I have faced is the phone quickly gets heated at the back of the phone. It's like holding a piece of green house in the palm of my hands. Apple has A4 and A5 chip. It's time to create some sort of cooler chip. But help me first to solve this problem. Is that white iPhone 4 users face the same problem? And iPhone 4S users face the same problem also?
I bought new iphone 4s on Last month,I'm facing over heat problem, while palying games in iphone and in charging my iphone.i'm getting this problem randomly
My iPhone 4s has just started doing the same but I'm not overseas! :( first I thought maybe it was some battery hogging App I downloaded so I deleted the a bunch that coincided with drain issue... Still nothing , I was losing about 1% every min while using it even in standbye mode it dropped around 20% in 25 min plus it was getting quite hot in bottom right of phone! So I disabled data roaming and bam it's fine back to normal? but I need data roaming on when I leave wifi connection so this is very annoying. I reset network settings and phone settings drained battery fully did full overnight charge data roming was on by default and it seemed to be fixed. I wanted to test my emails do I turned data roaming off then back on 5 mins later, but then the phone started to heat up again and drain ! I think I will try reset one more time then leave data roaming on by default?
I was working out today and I left the iPhone in my car. My car was in a parking garage with a little heat. When I returned, the phone had drained 60 percent battery and there was a yellow spot on the bottom right of the screen. The yellow spot quickly went away after a few minutes of usage, but it was definitely there.
Is this normal for a phone to behave like this if exposed to heat?
As what I wrote on the topic, may I know is it common for phone batteries to heat up during charging? I'm having a Nokia X2-00, BL-4C type battery. And another wonder that why do my phone charges it's battery when connected to the CPU via USB? Replies are much appreciated.
tell me my Z5 duos, now when I turn the camera on and select shooting mode full hd 60 frames I have out the window where is written that the camera was very hot and soon turned off the camera, then it switches off !And this is when I'm driving and the phone is in the holder on the windshield and removes the movement ahead. Why is it heated and off ? The phone I have is the metal case!!!
i have the problem in my HTC Sensation when i use 15 minutes to 30 minutes the machine in back down door is very heat, i like to ask is have problem or is normal not a big problem.
my x10i suddenly off yester day. its just 4 months old. its won't start at all. i plugged charger but i cannot see the LED. and phone is getting heat while plugged charger. also i removed the battery and put it back. nothing happen.. phone is getting heat.
I'm running stock, straight of the box, no root. And yesterday for example I went from 100% to15% in 7 hours....and this is at work with my phone sat on my desk not being used.Settings is saying that Google services is killing the battery, that and Android OS.Google services has a 'Stay awake' of over 3hrs and 'Mobile radio active' of over 2hrs All other apps also have a high 'Mobile radio active'Is this a bug in 5.1.1?
Second issue: How hot does this phone get!?Any usage of more than a couple of minutes with the screen on and its warm, getting towards hot.Use the camera for example and it gets hot...borderline too hot to touchFor me the main issue is the crappy battery life.
I forgot to mention this problem too; I used to put the mobile in power save mode in the previous Android OS it was worked fine.
After installation of ICS in my mobile, the battery gets discharge in power save mode and it becomes very heat and I connect to the charger it gets charge and turns on phone.
For the past two days it happen the same but yesterday i charged my mobile full and disabled the power save mode. In the evening I monitor the mobile power it was 86% and in the 11 PM it was 76% and today at 2 AM it was 62% and at 4:30AM the phone was turned off and got heat. I tried to charge it; it's not getting charge nor even turn on the phone.
After that I removed the battery of the mobile and I wait upto 10 mins and then tried to turn on it back, finally it got turn on and I checked the percentage of battery power at 5:30 AM it was 52%
Nokia Lumia 1520 heat up when surfing to WiFi? Lets say about 5minutes. Beside that, when surfing to Facebook, when I clicked to the image that I wanted to view, the picture would not show the entire pic but partially.
so i recently installed and removed multifl0w. so not everytime i try to use unlimvideo with backgrounder and insomniapro it keeps rebooting/respring and gets stuck at the apple symbol. i have no idea why it is doing this. it worked fine last night, i downloaded 3 movies over night and worked like a charm.
I've recently bought Iphone 4s, it hangs in between operations, this used to happen when i used to use my jailbreaked iphone 4, so the same is happening on new non jailbreaked one,i now feeling really futile to buy paid apps as phone performance is same.
My calling scren hangs when i try to make a call it just says "calling" when i press the end button it just says "ending.." but the home screen doesnot appear
Info:iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, my screen hangs when i make a call
So lately I've been running into an issue where the phone app is very, very slow or appears to hang. Its usually while trying to check voicemail and I'll load the app and go to voicemail and then the screen does not respond to anything. Then, after some time the app either crashes or finally plays a voicemail.
Another issue... I was just making a call and instead of leaving a voicemail I tried to end the call and it wouldn't. Press the end button numerous times and after 10 to 15 seconds it finally ended the call.
iPhone 4 with the latest software on the AT&T network.
After I update the iphone to 5.1 my iphone 4s has hang while verifying the phone with apple, now the phone does not shutdown, the phone is hang with apple log.
when i receive a call, i answer it and i hear a split second from the caller. The iphone then hangs up the call on its own. This only happens for incoming calls.
I am no longer able to access a particular guest wifi hotspot from my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1 When selecting this wifi service my phone hangs at the wifi login splash screen. This wifi hotspot doesn't require a username and password but does ask you to accept T's and C's before you can connect.I did install the Onavo app at a similar time to this first occuring, but as I thought it may be causing the problem I have now deleted this app.
This morning I stared the 7.1.2 update on my iPhone 5 (fully 100% battery charged and connected to power supply). Now I see for some hours just the Apple logo and about 60% progress status. I cannot do anything anymore (shutdown or reset not possible).Â
UPDATE: could reset the iPhone and looks like it works, still don't know what happened during update and if everything is installed correctly. But for now looks like working ok.
