IPhone 5s :: Add Location Services In The Control Center?
Dec 9, 2014
To save power I go into Settings and turn on/off the all the Location Services. Is there any plans to add location services in the control center for quicker access? Or is there something already in place?
my control center or settings won't turn wi-fi on on my phone. I resst network settings but it didn't work. The message on control center is "wi-fi not available"
I have multiple subscribed calendars that I normally turn off in the Calendar app. But as best as I can tell, showing calendars in the Notification Center is all or nothing. I will see upcoming events on all the calendars which tends to leave the calendars I want to see in Notifications lost in the noise of too much information. Is there a way to control which celendars' upcoming events show up in Notifications and which do not?
I have an iPhone 3G, running 3.0.1, jailbroken with redsnow. I have SBSettings installed and obviously openSSH, amongst other things.Whenever I switch my phone on SSH and location services seem to switch themselves on. This particularly annoying as it then burns through my battery life, which is bad enough already, if I forget to switch them off.
Location services suddenly only works when apps like Maps are used - Otherwise the icon disappears from menu bar. Find my iPhone in iCloud sees the device as 'off'. Have rebooted iPhone4, re-inserted SIM card (which Location Services doesn't need), turned it on and off several times.
an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1 confirm whether the iPhoto app shows up in Settings > Location Services? I'm sure it used to appear below iMovie, but I might be mistaken.

I'll be traveling to Europe in about to weeks.I would like to know if saving the locatioin for where pictures were taking would increase the bill for when I travel to Europe.
My iPhone 3GS is telling me location services are off. When I go into settings it says it is on, but it is not responding, i.e. I can't change it from on to off.
I am an iPhone 4 user with the most recent iOS update. I frequently use the Facebook application. As of recently I am unable to upload new photos. The status bar reads complete, however, nothing happens. I was told to check my Location Services to verify I had it turned on for the FB app, however, upon doing this I realized the application no longer even shows up as an option within the Location Services. I'm guessing this to be part of the issue, however, I have zero clue as to why it no longer shows up period vs just having it accidentally switched off.
The location services button is grayed out (in the off position and I cannot select ON or OFF. Why is this? I am trying to set up location thru Find My Phone, and this button needs to be ON in order for the phone to be tracked.
I am hearing various conflicting statements about leaving the "Location Services" on. Some people say it burns the battery, others say the effect is negligible.
I want some of my apps to use the location services & to be able to turn it off, but it's all greyed out. Same with my Cloud. I read thru the entire manual, with no luck. My iPhone 4S is from Verizon.
Lost or had my phone stolen today. Tried to use my Find My iphone app but the location services are disabled on the phone. Is there any way to remote activate the location services on the phone?
Did a clean install of iOS 5.1.1 on my 4S. Everything worked great until I restarted my device. Apart from Find My iPhone not working, Maps and Compass are unable to find my location. Error message 'Cannot Determine Location' being displayed and the pink icon in the status bar does not appear. It works fine for Camera, Twitter and Siri though.
I cannot turn on my location services and my AT&T Data is not responding appropriately either! The key board is acting strange like a remote app is typing
My iCloud find my phone has gotten disabled and I cannot turn on location services on my phone for apps and websites! I would send as screen shot but can't see anywhere to upload pic?
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, It is not responding well to msuppo
I have the current version Facebook app on my iPhone 4 and after updating the iOS to version 5.1 I can no longer upload pics to Facebook. I've read that this is usually caused by Facebook location services being turned off. After checking the Settings > Location Services menu I noticed Facebook isn't even on the list. I've tried deleting the Facebook app and reloading it from the app store and I also rebooted my iPhone but Facebook still isn't in the Location Services menu?
My iPhone was stolen today from my locker at the gym and I went home and used [URL] to locate my iphone but it keeps saying my phone is offline and that it needs to connect to the internet. I have always had the location service enabled so I dont know why this is happening. What can I do? Whenever I call my iPhone it goes straight to answering machine too
I leave location services off because it kills battery life, and I very rarely use it. Coupled with the graphical power needed for the iMovie app, the battery life is rather worse than with my normal settings. Other apps don't have this asinine need for location services to be turned on, so why does the Apple built iMovie app need to?
*Edit* I know that it does this so it knows which location to use on the Travel theme, but why isn't there an option to turn it off?
