Jun 1, 2012This just started today, when you hit the power button on the top of my iPhone 4S every once in a while the flash will turn on and won't turn off untill you go into the camera application. It doesn't turn on everytime you hit the power button though.

Apr 23, 2010My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

Mar 13, 2012i thought i was crazy at first and it was just my imagination when i saw it flash up when receiving a text message/notification/ phone call and the camera flash lighted up. then today i had my phone on silent and received a phone call and just watched it light up and flash until i finally picked up. i've went through a bunch of the settings but i cant find one to turn this off.

Jul 19, 2014I got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.

Feb 13, 2011I had a contract with Vodafone over 2 years ago and decided on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 handset . After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

"Plane mode" is unfortunately not an option as it doesn't allow listening to the radio... (whereas it allows you to connect yourself to a Wi-fi network or to receive GPS signals, for instance) Would be great if there was a widget "Enable/Disable GSM networks" or something like that, as there is for other functions... but I couldn't find such a thing.

May 18, 2012I don't know what trigger this. my iphone4 is previously on iOS 5.0.1 and it keeps turning off itself.but when i plug it to the power, the phone turns on, BUT when i pull the plug off it turns itselff off.it's like the phone has no power left.yesterday i connect my "dead" iphone4 to itunes and enter the recovery mode and restore it to the newest firmware (5.1.1) but still the same problem happened.

Jun 29, 2012I have a problem that has only started to occur after updating to iOS 5.1.1
The main problem seems to be that the phone will switch itself off, notebly when the phone is saying it still has a substantial amount of battery power left.
This morning in fact, it switched itself off, even though it said I had 61%
Now, I could understand if the % was wrong and I had in fact no battery, but the wierd thing is that the phone will allow me to switch itself back on 10 minutes later, but only for a couple more minutes.
